Today I received a loan quote from Brian Gat ConsumerDirect I have been talking with other lenders Brian was the most professional, straight-forward and knowledgable lender I spoke with He answered all of my questions even though the particular product I called about is not available from this company in my state He was patient, kind and honest My best experience to date in talking with lenders about a refinance His rates were great as well

During my purchase of my 4th home at Marietta, GA, I was shopping around probable lender of my property. I got GFE from many financial institution including Bank of America, plurality of Credit Union(s) and the Consumer Direct Mortgage is by far the best of all. I was so blessed to work with Stephen Spivey (Loan officer), Brian Black (Loan processor) and Hesta J (Loan Processor) and with their un-parallel professional work, we are able to close the property before even due date. We were scheduled to close on May 27th but we are able to close on May 19th. This was possible due to their professional work. First bank is not a broker ... rather it is a direct lender. With First bank, I was also able to make bi-weekly payment without any fees at all. If you are looking for a lender that not only give the best rate, but also you can count on, the ConsumerDirect Mortgage is the way to Go!

Worst Experience everWe started out with Consumer Direct over days ago and learned again today that they will not be ready to close our mortgage refiOver the course of the last week *** *** our loan processer has asked us over and over for additional documents or documents she misplaced or misreadOur loan officer *** *** just deferred to ***.Now we have missed closing, going on a two week vacation and who knows if this will closeWhen we get back we will be going with another back if they have not gotten their act together and close this loanMy advice be careful I spoke to the co-founder today and he sounds like he is running a business on a dime as no one ever answers their phone and looks like there may be only a handful of employeesThe co-founder also had the nerve to tell me my state was the issueWOWNext step will be to fight then for the $appraisal we paid and will most likely be screwed over on for which we will file a formal complaint with the Revdex.com

Consumer Direct has been the worst experienceThey have not been honest with me and they do not seem to care about costing me moneyI went with CD because they promised that they would close quicklyI am going from an FHA to conventional loan, and it should have been easyI got all paperwork in within hours, and there were no underwriting problemsActually getting to underwriting was another story45+days and still no closingTo make matters worse, since FHA didn't close by the end of the month like they promised, I have to pay a full months worth of interest - per FHA regsBut the loan officer knew all this and CD still made no effort to help me avoid 100s of dollars just thrown awayAs if that wasn't bad enough, I was given papers to review and told closing would be the following day, but they had added over $into my escrow for taxesThey had the numbers right originally, but now another reason not to closeAnd, as has been typical with CD, they just ignore you

Our experience with obtaining a loan from ConsumerDirect Mortgage was horrible We missed four scheduled closings, had to resend the same documents several times, and we were never updated regarding the status of our loan In fact, the HORRIBLE customer service was the most frustrating aspect of our experience with this company My husband and I spent two weeks calling and emailing several times a day just to get our file closed We are great borrowers with fantastic credit and a straight-forward file, it should have been an open and close file We were only given the run around by our LO who would never tell us anything, we had a horrible processor who couldn't find docs in her own system (verified to be there by the LO), and upper management would never reply to us and help Oh, and check your GFE This company promises, no underwriting, application or processing fee which is actually not true We were promised this by our LO only to find that there is a $underwriting fee, which is covered by a credit they offered us, but a fee none-the-less
