Collins Comfort Masters

I used Collins to install two AC/Furnace units at my home. The AC units were replaced with a 4 and 5 ton units, so I performed my due diligence to vet this company. As part of that process, I received bids from three competing companies. There was no comparison in price and Collins included all of the same equipment as quoted by the others.
The installers [redacted],[redacted], and [redacted] were very professional, and went above and beyond when I requested additional items be added. Everything that quoted and promised was delivered.

A/C Tech, SA provided professional service on 3/25/15 and provided answers to my questions. He was to procautions to make the interior of our home remained clean during his work. We would pleased to have him service our HVAC system again.

[redacted] and [redacted] installed a new AC unit for me in December of 2013. They did an excellent job. Any issues that came up were handled quickly and the job was complete earlier than I expected.

I like the unit that Collins Comfort Masters suggested and have been really happy with the comfort level of the house. I would recommend [redacted], and Collins Comfort Masters to anyone.

Ryan came to my home today 3/26/15, to perform my yearly AC maintenance. I explained to him that my 4.5 year old AC, which was purchased, and installed, by Collins, was not cooling properly. Ryan did every single thing he could to resolve the problem. His service was very good. Although I may need to write another review stating that I do not feel that an AC that was installed in June of 2011 (not even 4 yrs. old yet) should had to have had 2 lbs. of freeon (or whatever they use now), added. There "may" be a leak but it could not be found. I have had air conditioners for 25 years that didn't need any freeon added until they were 20 years old. I realize this is AZ., but come on. So, for the tech. he did a great job., and for the AC itself I am a little disappointed, to say the least, and what it cost me today. It went from a $29 call to a $157 call. Additionally, I have the AC and Heat each maintenanced faithfully on a yearly basis.

Today [redacted] and I had a two new air conditioner / heating units installed in our home by Collins Comfort Masters located in Gilbert Az. I was advised they would arrive between 07:30 and 08:00 and they were on site at 08:35. There were four installers, [redacted], and [redacted]; all these gentlemen were professional, and friendly. They introduced themselves and advised me of what they planned to do and how they planned to do it, and asked if I had any questions. They also advised me about how long it was going to take.They went straight to work and completed the job on time. They did an excellent job and left their work area as clean as they found it. [redacted] explained how the new units and thermostats function, and handled the paperwork, including registering both units. This was a very positive experience for us, and I would highly recommend this company and these workers to everyone.

Today Chris W. and Chris B. came to install a new Lennox 14 SEER heat pump which I bought through Costco. This is the second unit I've bought from Collins and I've been very happy both times. The first unit, a Lennox mini-split for my guest house, was also bought through Costco. The salesman who came and generated the quote was very pleasant and easy to deal with. The fellas who came and did the install were polite, efficient and professional. I've had nothing but good experience with Collins and highly recommend them.

We have scheduled a replacement of our old unit and [redacted] and [redacted] arrived on time and after a brief discussing of their plans they started the project. They worked like a well oiled machine, each working on different portions of the job.This was a big job and it was early evening before they finished.Before they left they went over the whole job with me, making sure they had left my house just the way they found it. [redacted] went over using the new unit and double checking everything. An A plus for both these gentlemen and the company.

Anthony,Duran, and Armando were knowledgeable and respectful. They cleaned up. I was very satisfied.

I have been using this co since 2003 and will never use anyone else. [redacted] is an extremely helpful technician & explains everything in detail.

We recently had our unit replaced on our house. We had several companies come to our home and give us quotes. [redacted] from Collins Comfort came and it was like night and day from the other companies. He was polite, informative and at no time pressured us. That is what made us feel that Collins was the company for us. They did everything they said they would. The installers [redacted]. and [redacted]. came on time, did a great job and at every step kept us informed. They even raked the gravel on the side of the house when they were cleaning up. Wonderful job!!!!!!!!

I have had nothing but great experiences with Collins Comfort Masters since I started working with them. [redacted] was very thorough in the options that he provided, and was able to get me in to a better system for less than many of the other companies around. He also showed me a bunch of sales going on that gave me great discounts on upgrades. [redacted] and [redacted] were the installers, and they did an amazing job. They kept the entire area clean, and ensured that everything was cleaned up properly after finishing the job. They were professional the entire time, and were extremely quick, even with some unexpected issues with a new vent line they were running. I will definitely be returning to Collins next time I need a new A/C, because their service was absolutely amazing from beginning to end.

We found Collins Comfort Masters through [redacted]. We had 2, 22 year old units that were on their way out. After a no-pressure consultation with the initial serviceman, we decided to replace them instead of repair them. We continued to have excellent service with the salesman who patiently answered all our questions and thoroughly explained all the options available to us.
After making our decision, install was setup for the following day with [redacted]. and [redacted] M. [redacted] and [redacted] were were prompt, professional and respectful of our house during every step of the installation process. And once installation was complete, they made sure I knew how to use the icomfort thermostat and the Wi-Fi features of the unit. It was obvious that both [redacted] and [redacted] took pride in their work and a job well done.

I just had our A/C serviced ( bi-annual checkup ), and I want to let you know that your tech Fred, is a gem. He is personable, willing to answer questions, and does a great job. I will continue to use Collins Comfort Masters as long as I have an A/C. Unfortunately I did not get the name of the receptionist who set my appointment, but she was both friendly and helpful in scheduling the appointment to suit me. Thank you.

Job well done by [redacted] & [redacted]. On time. Talked about what was going to happen and went right to work. Finished and cleaned up all of the mess that was involved.

Installers (Jose V. and Lyandro) and salesman (Neil) were both professional and competent. Installation went flawlessly. Installers arrived on time and evaluated an acceptable solution to a narrow attic access. Job was completed without any problems. They did a fine job on the clean-up, as well. This unit is much quieter and responsive than our previous unit, which was replaced due to being unreliable.

I recently had Collins Comfort Masters do a spring tune-up on the air conditioner they installed several years ago. [redacted] called to let me know he was on his way and performed a thorough inspection when he arrived. I have had [redacted] out before to do annual check-ups and he is always friendly, knowledgeable, and does an excellent job. I am happy that I chose Collins to replace my system and look forward to continued good service from them.

It's Sunday at 8:45am and Collins Comfort Masters just left after fixing my sudden AC problem. We went to bed last night with that feeling that the AC was not working properly. Awake and sweating at 6am, we called [redacted]. Not only did someone answer the call but they had a technician out here by 8 am. He fixed a clogged drain line quickly and inexpensively! Instead of looking for a hotel and somewhere for my pets to go later today as the 109 predicted AZ temps increase my house temps to that level, my AC is humming, my house is cooling and I am writing this review. Amazing experience! Thank you [redacted]!

My wife and I decided to replace our (3) 15-yr old AC units after we started having more and more problems with them. We got an estimate from another major company (that we all see on TV) but I was disappointed that the guy didn't even look in our attic at the air handlers and barely looked at the system at all. I had the opposite experience with Collin's. Their estimator ([redacted]) came out and went through our system in detail (attic and all) and identified problem areas and then made a recommendation. He was extremely responsive to our follow-up questions as compared to the other company that took forever to respond to a question. [redacted] took the time to explain everything in detail - it was wonderful dealing with him. Collin's price was great so it was an easy decision to use them. Their installation crews ([redacted], and [redacted]) were very professional, courteous and prompt. They cleaned up perfectly after themselves, asked before going into different parts of the house, and were truly focused on doing a great job. The craftsmanship and attention to detail of their work was great - I was very pleased. What a pleasure it was to do business with this company! Highly recommended!

I started to have issues with my AC/Furnace not functioning properly. The coil was leaking water and coming through the ceiling I decided it was time to replace it. My existing system was 18 years old and was installed by the builder. I was referred to Collins Comfort Master by my mother-in-law and decided to have them give me a quote. I did plenty of research before the appointment so I was prepared for the "sales pitch". After thoroughly going through my current AC system with the sales rep, Max DeCastro, it was clear it needed to be replaced. Max explained in detailed all of my options and the pros and cons of each. I never felt pressured and didn't feel he was pushing one system over another. I bought the Lennox Elite XC16 two-stage AC, Lennox SL280V Variable Speed Gas Furnace and the Healthy Climate Carbon Clean 16 Media Air Cleaner. Both John and Armando did an excellent job installing the new system and I couldn't be happier with it.

[redacted] and [redacted] showed up in the morning on time. They explained all they were going to do and set expectations. They were in uniform and wore the foot slippers to keep the floors clean, set up tarps for any debris that might have fallen. Minimal damage was done to the tiny access panel they had to work the air handler out and the new one back in. I was amazed. They even reinstalled the trim and caulked and painted the small scratches. Very nice touch. I will be using Collins as my yearly maintenance company from now on.
