CMRE claims to have received a file from [redacted] that I had an unpaid balance of $from 2014, which CMRE claims to have received for their case in December They filed a negative claim against my credit report with Experian in March 2016, having provided me with ZERO opportunity to pay the balance, which I had ZERO knowledge of up until May 20, CMRE sent me a letter on 05/18/It was received on 05/20/2016, and paid IMMEDIATELYThis was the FIRST time I ever became aware of this balance CMRE claims that they sent a previous letter in March to a WRONG address, and that they were also unsuccessful to call As a "professional" collection company, they should have practiced some due diligence to contact me CORRECTLY (with the correct address, which they obviously had since they sent me the letter on 05/18/16), instead they reported me to experian and hurt my credit report by over pointsThis has a lasting damaging effect on my credit and finances C
CMRE Financial has the WORST customer service repsI have been hung up on, spoke to in a condescending tone, and just overall rudeness I was calling to PAY my debt I wasn't avoiding them I was transferred to an automated payment line When I entered the account # provided by the 'customer service' rep and the automated line kept telling me the account number did not match I was transferred back to a rep, who before hanging up on me told me, "Just make it easy on yourself and use the web site." Who do these people think they are?!? I am an adult Not a child in a 1st grade classroom

In August 2015, I suffered a heart attack and was transported by ambulance to a hospital and recieved various medical seevices at a local hospitalThere were many bills and all but one were properly settledThe one bill that was not was a some dollar bill that got sent to CMRE for collectionsI tried calling CMRE to discuss this bill but was put on extended hold and ultimatey hung up before an agent could answer the phoneThis happened twiceAt some point, CMRE put a derogatory remark on my credit report The account is now settled because I paid CMRE the full amount of in April However CMRE will not remove the derogatory remark which greatly affects my credit score and impairs my ability to secure a mortgage I called CMRE and spoke to a [redacted] She told me it was policy to not remove such remarksI then asked to speak to a supervisor and she refused to connect me with oneI then asked for the name of the CEO who I could write a letter to and again
I received a bill from CMRE that showed that an account I had with the radiology group at the nearby hospital was in defaultI checked my records for every medical bill that I received and I looked at the different Explanation of Benefits generated by my health insurance for that particular visit to the hospitalI received no bill from a company that CMRE named (Texas Radiology Associates) nor has this company submitted anything to my insuranceI did recieve two separate Explanation of Benefits with LAB/X-RAY charges from two other companies (North Texas Pathology and Tenet Frisco LTD), and those accounts are paid in fullI wrote back to CMRE letting them know they must have made an error and that I am not going to pay them for a past due bill that neither myself nor my insurance have ever heard ofThey simply must be a scam or they have made a mistakeInstead, I get back another letter on much cheaper stock and riddled with spelling mistakes showing what they consider 'proof', which is just a line item that repeats the name of the company and the amount past dueThis company does not appear professional at all, is representing a client I've never head of, and are attempting extortion (threatening my credit score) to collect a bill which doesn't make sense

I finally got through to a manager in which I explained I would be happy to pay my three accounts IN FULL if they would give me a letter of deletionI was promptly informed that they will NOT give a letter of deletion and it's their company policy not to do thisI repeated my intentions to pay the accounts IN FULL without the 20% reduction and again I was told they would not give a letter of deletion So, let's think about thisA "credit reporting" company doesn't want to do any more work then they have toIt's pretty obvious that the post about the "best customer service" and "they really care about their clients" is from someone in the company or someone that filed their customers bills with the company
