I received a notice of an outstanding debt after applying for a mortgage that I wasn't aware of due to moving across the country I immediately called CMRE to pay off the debt and ask that they remove the debt from my credit score They informed me that I would need to speak with a manager to get consideration of the removal of the debt After several voicemails and phone calls I haven't gotten a call back from any manager I really need this removed from my credit report and given I was not located at the address that the bills were being sent to I don't believe it's fair that I'm being penalized for this debt

CMRE Financial Services continues to send collection notices, although I have written them and their client to explain I have never been in any form of contact with their client nor received any services from them In response they sent me an itemized statement, with no evidence that I received these services They will not talk with me via phone unless I divulge social security information to resolve a fraudulent claim I am not going to do that I am not going to pay for something just because they have decided to send me letters I want this to stop, and will file with every supervisory source I can find until they stop harassing me

The account was assigned to CMRE on 02/13/for a date of service of 06/02/The first notice was mailed to the consumer on 02/16/15, as required by FDCPAOn 02/24/we received a partial payment from the consumer or his wifeAs part of our investigation we contacted our client, who acknowledged that they did receive e-mails from the consumer and stated that it was explained to the consumer that they are a non-contracted provider and the balance is patient responsibilityIf the consumer would like he can provide us with a copy of the explanation of benefits he received from his insurance provider and we will be happy to investigate furtherPlease note we received cease and desist instructions from the consumer, because of which we cannot contact the consumer directly, we have also noted the account is in disputeThe consumer can fax his explanation of benefits to: [redacted]

The consumer received services from the original service provider, She received notice's that the account was assigned to CMREThe consumer has spoken to CMRE representative regarding this matterShe is aware of the basis for this account

The first notice was mailed to the consumer on 07/20/in compliance with FDCPA, no mail was returnedOn 08/20/a second letter was mailed to the consumer notifying her that the account remained unpaid and we may credit report the account; again no mail was returnedThe account was originally credit reported on 01/21/to both [redacted] and [redacted] , we updated the credit report on 11/21/as the account remains unpaidWe have notified the credit reporting agencies to update the consumer's account to a disputed statusI have placed a letter in the mail to the consumer to provide the consumer with account information

I found some accounts of my credit report that do not belong to me, I decided to send a debt validation request to CMRE under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, USC 1692g Sec(b)It has been over days with no response

The consumer is stating that he has not received the validation that was sent to himWe sent the validation on 06/09/and it may still be in the process of being deliveredWe have also reviewed the consumer's account and do not show any calls made to our officeIf the consumer has any information pertaining to the claimed errors in the account assigned to us, we request that copies of that information be provided to us so that we may investigate furtherIf the consumer is needing any additional information we can be reached ay (800) 783-Monday through Friday 8:am to 5:pm PST

I recently pulled my credit and found a collection on my credit reports with this company on them

I was taken to the hospital by the Sheriff's Department in handcuffs and against my will after not being put a seat belt and being injured in the back seat of the Sheriff's vehicleDoctor gave incorrect treatment results just so the Sheriff's could clear me and book meI was sentenced to years in state prison and recently seen that I have a delinquent account in my credit history reportThe Sheriff's Department should be responsible for this balanceAlso how was supposed to correct this problem while in prisonNow they are charging interest

This company is demanding money over a [redacted]  bill and claiming I owe them $38.86, but the [redacted]  website's billing department has me owing a zero balance and no record of this billLooks like a scam to meI would give zero stars if this were an optionIt's highly likely that the one person posting a five star review among the one star reviews works for CMRE Financial Services

At first I thought this company was like all other financial companies, but they genuinely care about their clientsThey offered me plenty of solutions to aid me with my medical billingAwesome customer service and great staff!

We contacted the original service provider who has agreed to cancel the account. Request submitted to have removed from credit report.

TERRIBLE SERVICEI paid them and refuse to help AT ALL they are the worst creditors I’ve dealt with PERIOD!!!! They should not be in business and should be shut down

I received a collection notice from CMRE alleging that I had not paid $870.25 for medical services provided by [redacted] on 11-13-2013. At that time I was covered with health insurance by United Healthcare, with no lapse in premiums, and my annual deductible had been satisfied, therefore this bill was paid by the insurance company. In CMRE's letter dated 10/08/15, it is specifically stated that I had 30 days to dispute the collection effort and to ask CMRE for proof of the debt. I did so in my dispute to them dated 11/08/15. Their response to me, however, did not contain proof of the validity of the debt, but a restatement of their effort to collect the alleged debt. I called their 800 number thereafter to again ask for proof of the validity of the debt, and I was told that a letter would be sent to me, and it was not. As of today, I have not received a copy of the bill or any proof that this is an honest and valid effort to collect a debt. Even before their first collection let

The consumer's complaint is that we did not provide the requested validation of his accountThe account in question was assigned to our office on 04/07/with a first notice sent on 04/12/advising the consumer of his day validation periodThe consumer's request for validation was received on 08/07/and a response sent the same daySince the request was received outside of the validation period, validation was not sentAs a courtesy to the consumer validation will be mailed to the address provided on the original requestIf the consumer has any questions we can be reached at (800) 783-Monday through Friday 8:amto 5:pm PST

The accounts covered under the consumers financial assistance application have been closed and remove from his credit profileThe service provider has stated that any accounts outside of that time period are still outstanding, should the consumer believe he qualifies for financial assistance for the time frame beyond that period he should reapply for financial assistance
