Dishonest billing practice after making final payment months ago
I received a phone call from closet world on 8/12/stating I had an outstanding balance in the amount of $Closet World attempted to bill my inactive credit card to obtain this payment three months after I provided my final payment for their productDarren Berger from closet world provided my family a detailed revised email stating the changes to my old contract on 4/22/

As you can see, the balance difference from their new contract and my payments was only $Upon completion of their installment, I was instructed to only pay $1,on 4/26/I can only assume this was a billing calculation error on their part res

I normally don't write negative reviews but our experience with Closet World has called for it!
We met with a designer in early July to discuss closet design, and our appointment for install was scheduled for a few weeks laterThe installers were very kind and polite, but the company lacks organization and follow up on what they say they are going to doOur install should have been completed in one visit and today was supposed to be visit number four (but no one showed up) to bring materials that they keep forgettingEach time they bring a few of the materials and forget something so we have to schedule another install
We have small closets which should have been finished in a few hoursThey ended up staying for over hours on the first visit which delayed my plans for the remainder of the day!!!
The first visit they installed the actual closets but some items were missingThey also failed to mention that they do not fix the walls after demolishing the old closets!!! Our designer said we would have backing for the spacing in the closet but the installers said that it was not in their plansWe were also missing the connecting pieces for the top of the closet
We have had different appointments already, one of which was a no show and another was a no show but at least they had the decency to call us the day of to let us know that they wouldn't showThe four times the workers have been to the house they have not brought all the material! Last week was the 6th appointment and final visit but they did not show!!!
Yes, their products look great, but the management and disorganization if this company needs to change! For a one day install to take 4+ visits is unacceptableThis is different days that I've had to be at home to wait for the installers only to find our that they didn't bring all of the materials or that they don't show up at allNow we have to call on Monday and deal with setting up a 7th appointment! Hopefully everything is brought over this time!
We've been in touch with the installation manager who has not been able to coordinate with the workers to get our job done in a timely mannerWe went over his head and have emailed his supervisor about our issue and he has not bothered to call us back or return any of our emailsIt has been one week since we emailed himThe customer service is lacking and for the amount of money we spent on our closets I expected better service

I WAS TOLD THE CABINETS WOULD HOLD RIMS& TIRES (MAIN REASONS FOR GETTING CABINETS); WAS CHARGED EXTRA FOR WATER HEATER ENCLOSURE AND WALL DAMAGE
On 3/31/my daughter and I met with Pam *** Closet World consultant at my home I was interested in buying cabinets for my garage I informed Pam that I wanted cabinets that will cover the water heater, solar panel, fire panel, store my rims and tires, and other itemsI informed Pam NUMEROUS times when coming up with the design that it is extremely important I'm able to store four rims and tires inside the cabinets Pam measured the rims and tires and told me I can store rims and tires standing on one of the bigger cabinets and the other two in another cabinet Pam indicated I have to pay extra ($576) because I have a tank less water heaterPam informed different materials were going to be used for the cabinet covering the water heater to include a mesh for proper ventilationThe total price was $6,000, Client # CWXXXXXXX

Closet World broke a water pipe while installing a cabinetThey stated they would pay for our repairs and credit our credit card but never did
During a new cabinet install on 1/29/the installer put a hole in the wall through a water pipe Water flooded inside our house and in the garage where he was installing the new cabinet We had to call an emergency plumber to come out to handle this emergency$for emergency plumbing repair to fix pipe on 1/29/On 1/31/we paid $for drywall repair and on 2/3/had to repair a faucet from debris in the line from plumbing repair Closet World was notified of each item and agreed to reimburse us right away All invoices submitted to *** at closet world for reimbursement on 2/6/No responseWe checked the credit card statements for two months and no refundCall to closet world again and they stated it should be on the next statementAgain no record of refund On 5/25/called *** again and have not received a call b
