Closet World is repeatedly coming (4x) to my home with damaged cabinet doors to replace the ones they initially installed on 11/24/

Walltec installed in garage but hooks to hang tools
On March 31, my husband and I had a designer from Closet World come to our home to give us an estimate on some garage cabinets and wall tec to hang toolsThe designer did a great job in drawing the layout of the garage cabinets on graph paper and where the wall tec would be placedSo, my husband and I decided to let Closet World install the garage cabinets and wall tecWe paid $down which was non-refundable with a total cost of $3,We scheduled a date with the designer to have them installed which was set for May 12, They stated that they were booked up is the reason we had to wait until May to have them installedOn May 12, the installers came to install the garage cabinets and wall tec but the only problem was they stated that the designer did not do the measurement correctly and that the cabinets would not be flushed to the crown molding of the doorThey stated that they still could make it work but

The reason for our complaint is that CLOSET WORLD failed to follow trough with the job that they advertise and sell peopleOur closet was instaled and completed in a very big rush, as the instalers were eager to get the job done and go home (it was thier last job of the day)They failed to pay attention to small detailsA good example of that is that they covered our air vent in the closetThey tore out all base boards and left the walls tore, unpainted and with all baseboards taken off and just hangingHalf of the closet is installed at an angle and is not straightThe cut of the material is not precise at all, which makes some of the shelves move or not even sit properly or straight on their installed boltsThe corners of the closets cannot be used due to the installation of the shelves too close to the rods and not allowing enough room for the clothes to hang out on the closet rodsSome shoe shelves are straight and some are slanted, where all were supposed to be slanted as

I've requested via telephone and email a refund of my depositDue to the furnace in my garage, space is not available for the shelves
I've spoken to several people at Closet world requesting my refund On July , I spoke with yesnia and she said send an email to customer service and I should here from some as of 8/17/I yet to here from closet world for my refund from the deposit

Closet World was great in helping me organize a very small space in my condoThey were very prompt in setting up the in home consultation and provided me with quick responses and great feedback

Recently, I had to have some electrical work done at my homeMy electrician said that the garage GFI was covered up by cabinetsI called Closet World, who installed my cabinets years ago, and they sent installers the next dayWell, to make a long story short, the electrician was wrong and the GFI was accessible and not covered up by the cabinets! I was so impressed that they were able to send someone the next day and they were very gracious about the mix-up!

The business is unable to honor the agreement to fulfill service by specified date and no response to inquiry either
On 7/7/I signed a contract for installation of cabinets in my garage with the designer of the company rep *** who provided the estimate for the project total cost of $*** and confirmed the installation date as 08/01/after consulting with the warehouseI paid 50% $*** with my CCOn 07/31/18, I received a call from *** *** who said he is from their Sales Dept(***@closetworld.com) asking me for the copy of the design form saying that without that they cannot manufacture the cabinetsWhen I asked why he is asking for it the day prior to the date of installation he said they don't have the papers and if I want the cabinets to be delivered I better send the copy via emailHe was rude in his conversation and said that he can cancel the order if I keep arguing with himWhen I asked who will pay for the delay he gave a matter of fact reply 'no body'

Half of the amount from the order was deducted from my credit cardThe second installment the drawers were 1/inch too wideWhen installers left the remaining 1/of the amount of drawers were chargedWhen I telephoned company, they said the job had been completedHAHAHA REALLY??? The company refunded charges after about to four phone calls to themThen a couple of days later they charged my card againStill no drawersI finally cancelled the orderafter trying to reach the CEO of the company, who never returned call nor emailI never got an apology or any concern that it took them a month to do nothing!! A couple of weeks later another charge on my credit card, this time a different amount, I never authorized!
I called my credit card company and blocked them from charging any further
Worst experience, not to mention days off work to be home to let the clowns in.Really is a ring circus there

Problems with Product and Customer Service
1) Closet World's first visit was on Dec19, They were scheduled to install my home office systemBefore any material could be unloaded, we were told that the remaining balance of $*** would have to be paidThe installer reviewed the plans and determined that one of the book cabinets he was going to install was too longWe decided that we wanted the book cabinet to be the length as stipulated on the drawingWe did not make the remaining paymentSo, the material was returned, and installation was re-scheduled for Dec28,
2) Closet World returned on Dec28, We were assured by the installer that the correct size book cabinet was in the vanHowever, we could not inspect any of the material, until we paid the remaining balanceThe remaining balance was paid, and the installation was doneWe found some issues after the installation was completeBut given that they did not finish until after sundown, we could not d

I had new cabinets installed and when the installers left I saw what looked like patching done on the left door of the middle upper cabinetWhen I gently rubbed it a gouge appearedThere was also another patch job done on the other right upper cabinet, which I didn't even bother to clean The edges were also rough on the bottom of all the upper doorsI called Closet World Installation and their representative apologized and said she would have someone call the next day and they would take care of the issue

I called to verify the service call and I was told that I was not on the scheduleI asked to speak to a supervisor and was transferred to another representative who apologized and said the earliest they could replace the doors would be the following week

Since I had very little confidence in Closet World's service department, I called and left a voice message with Alex ***, Vice President Of Operations at 9:am, to voice my extreme displeasure with Closet World's quality of materials and customer service
Later in the day Roman, a Closet World representative returned my call and said Closet World would be out on the scheduled day to replace the two damaged cabinetsHe said he would call me after the repair and when I asked for an adjustment for all my inconvenience, he said he could do that

Roman did not call as promised to verify how the service call went and to discuss the payment adjustment

Called to speak to Roman, he said he would adjust the cost of my purchase by $(less than 5% of the cost of the cabinets)I reluctly agreeded to the adjustment but questioned if that was the best he could do and he said the cabinets were replaced and basically implied that everyone was happyRoman verified the last digits of my Credit Card

Called Closet World and left a message with Roman, since no adjustment has been made to my Credit Card at this time
I would not recommend Closet World for several reasons:
They installed damaged and inferior quality cabinets and patched them so hopefully I would not notice
After the original installation I had to be present on two more days for the damaged doors to be replaced, once when they made a scheduling error and then on the actual day when the cabinet doors were replacedThen the adjustment offered and never received was only 5% of the original cost of the cabinetsApparently Closet World doesn't think their customers time and trouble is worth very much!
Also, Closet World did not call me back as promised
I have not only been inconvenienced, but also robbed of the joy of having new garage cabinets that I can be proud ofAs a designer I know personally and professionally that this is not the way a business should operateHopefully future customers can be warned of how Closet World operates

This complaint relates to a refund I should receive in the amount of $645,00, for goods and services I did not receive in my home due to the product not being what I was told it was
I told the sales rep I do not want to purchase any particle board for my home, but when they came out to build out my closet it was particle board I know the risk of this type of product as it relates to breathing issues over the years I also, told the rep I was trying to go green with my home, she should have stated that they use particle board at the time and I would have moved on
So, when the installers came out to install the closet I went out to the truck and looked at the product and it was particle board, and the installer insisted on installing the particle boardSo, the installer called his supervisor and the supervisor stated they were not going to refund me my moneyWe exchanged dialogue and the supervisor told me he was also, going to bill my credit card the remaining balance of $

I hired Closet World based on their advertisementMet with salesperson (*** *** multiple times & had witness presentI explained all that I wanted based on picture in ad and specific needs for our closet from type of drawers size, fronts to hanging sections and height of racksIt took weeks for installation at which point I was informed the height was not what we discussed and they tried charging me more moneyThey also said they had to remove baseboards but would reinstall them afterAll they did was cut them very crookedly and placed them unattached to the wall.They proceeded to install and left my home well after 8pmI was not given a walk through and the installer used acetone in the closet and said he suggested I let it air outI did not enter closet for a few days as the smell was so strong and the condition was

Closet Word refuses to remove my residential (home) address from their mailing listI have asked for months yet they ignore my requests!!
History:
June 2017: I called Closet World (CW) Customer Service (C/S) and requested they please remove my residential (home) mailing address from their mailing listI made it clear I do not want to receive any mail from this companyI do not have an account with this company and am not interested in starting oneThe C/S rep was respectful, took my information, and I thought CW would honor my request
(I couldn't of been more wrong)!
November 2017:
I received advertisement mail from CW
November @ approximately 2PM AND 3:30PM
I called CW Corporate @ XXX-XXX-XXXXSpoke to two different Reps who told me they could not remove me from their mailing lists but a Supervisor from CW who could would call me back to accomplish thisI NEVER GOT CALLED BACK
December 2017:
I emailed CW C/S to please remove my residential mailing addres
