Had closet system installed on 5/Incorrect height, drawer sizes and frontsCloset was installed in an unworkmanlike manner & is in poor condition I hired Closet World based on their advertisementMet with salesperson ( [redacted] multiple times & had witness presentI explained all that I wanted based on picture in ad and specific needs for our closet from type of drawers size, fronts to hanging sections and height of racksIt took weeks for installation at which point I was informed the height was not what we discussed and they tried charging me more moneyThey also said they had to remove baseboards but would reinstall them afterAll they did was cut them very crookedly and placed them unattached to the wall.They proceeded to install and left my home well after 8pmI was not given a walk through and the installer used acetone in the closet and said he suggested I let it air outI did not enter closet for a few days as the smell was so strong and the condition was
The installers were terrific, on time, professional and courteousI never saw two men work so hard and they did a great job!Closet World to my friends!
The business is unable to honor the agreement to fulfill service by specified date and no response to inquiry either On 7/7/I signed a contract for installation of cabinets in my garage with the designer of the company rep [redacted] who provided the estimate for the project total cost of $ [redacted] and confirmed the installation date as 08/01/after consulting with the warehouseI paid 50% $ [redacted] with my CCOn 07/31/18, I received a call from [redacted] who said he is from their Sales Dept( [redacted] @closetworld.com) asking me for the copy of the design form saying that without that they cannot manufacture the cabinetsWhen I asked why he is asking for it the day prior to the date of installation he said they don't have the papers and if I want the cabinets to be delivered I better send the copy via emailHe was rude in his conversation and said that he can cancel the order if I keep arguing with himWhen I asked who will pay for the delay he gave a matter of fact reply 'no body'

Sales person stated that customer could cancel and did not disclose day cancellation policy and now company will not cancel/refund order On Thursday 2/8/18, a designer came out to give me an estimate She took measurements and was quite lovely and very personable She talked through the design with me and expressed how lucky I was that she was able to come out as "senior designers" can offer a greater discount off the cost of the cosets over "junior designers." She also stated that she could offer more upgrades for free as a senior designer At the end of her sales pitch, I informed her that I needed to think about it She informed me that in order to get the discounted pricing, I would need to commit and put down 50% When I informed her that I was not ready to commit and would not be putting a large amount down; she stated that she was able to lock the price down for a 20% deposit and that I could cancel at any time She had me sign a contract with her, which did mention t

Walltec installed in garage but hooks to hang tools On March 31, my husband and I had a designer from Closet World come to our home to give us an estimate on some garage cabinets and wall tec to hang toolsThe designer did a great job in drawing the layout of the garage cabinets on graph paper and where the wall tec would be placedSo, my husband and I decided to let Closet World install the garage cabinets and wall tecWe paid $down which was non-refundable with a total cost of $3,We scheduled a date with the designer to have them installed which was set for May 12, They stated that they were booked up is the reason we had to wait until May to have them installedOn May 12, the installers came to install the garage cabinets and wall tec but the only problem was they stated that the designer did not do the measurement correctly and that the cabinets would not be flushed to the crown molding of the doorThey stated that they still could make it work but
This complaint relates to a refund I should receive in the amount of $645,00, for goods and services I did not receive in my home due to the product not being what I was told it was I told the sales rep I do not want to purchase any particle board for my home, but when they came out to build out my closet it was particle board I know the risk of this type of product as it relates to breathing issues over the years I also, told the rep I was trying to go green with my home, she should have stated that they use particle board at the time and I would have moved on So, when the installers came out to install the closet I went out to the truck and looked at the product and it was particle board, and the installer insisted on installing the particle boardSo, the installer called his supervisor and the supervisor stated they were not going to refund me my moneyWe exchanged dialogue and the supervisor told me he was also, going to bill my credit card the remaining balance of $

Delivery of services & material was removed from their scheduled calendar due to a poor decision by their VP of salesCausing me an income loss I had scheduled my installation date with Closet World installation department a month ago and on 7/3/I cleared out my garage and placed everything outside in the driveway to await the installation of the cabinets that Closet world had scheduled to install on 7/7/17, on Wednesday 7/5/I called in to Closet World and talked to the installation department and they confirmed I was still scheduled for 7/7/and I asked to talk to the Sales VP because my original designer no longer worked their and I had a question about the measurement "A Question" although the VP did not answer his phone, I did leave a message stating that I needed to talk to him about a question I had about the measurementsHe did not return my my call that Wednesday although the VP of Sales took it upon his self without my request to take me off the schedule that same d
I contracted services from Closet World to have my closets organized The sales person sat with me and we went through the drawings as to what I was asking to be done I was told repeatedly that the product would be "wood." However upon date of install, 2/3/2016, the person who was to do the installation brought a "particle board" product The sales person had not at any time during our initial consultation, shown me what material was going to be used I did not allow the install as I asked to see the product on the truck before install It was particle board which broke quite easily I was also told by the installer about fees for removal of material which had not been mentioned to me at initial time of consultation The installer also asked for the balance before the install was done I thought this odd, because what happens if a customer is not satisfied? Closet World rep was not upfront about the material I did not allow them to rip apart my "wood closet" to install
A Closet World installer came to my house on May 4, 2017, to install four closets in my house Upon our request, he installed the closet located downstairs, which is a very small closet and we could have a clearer idea of what the other three closets were going to look like Upon completion of the installation of the smaller closet, we noticed several things we did not like and were not disclosed at the time we signed the contract First, the workmanship was extremely poor! There were uneven joints all over and the very first shelf was all the way down to the marble floor, covering it They cut expensive baseboards and covered expensive marble floors with a cheap particle board shelf! The same was going to be done to the remaining three closets, thus we stopped the installation and told the installer that we were not at all satisfied with their product, nor the installation I also called Mr [redacted] , the customer service rep, explained the issue and asked him for our money back
Dan was exceptional! He designed the perfect walk in closet for our new master additionHe was extremely patient and had excellent ideas on the layout and functionality, as well as elements which would maximize our spaceI would highly recommend Dan and Closet World!
