Even though the inspection report by *** *** states that the damage to this floor is due to moisture intrusion from improper cleaning procedures such as the use of a steam cleaner, Century Commis willing to work with the homeowner to
resolve this issueIn their last communication the homeowner states "At this point we would just take the extra boxes and hire someone else as our trust in this company is no-existent" We have made arrangements for the flooring company to deliver the two extra boxes of flooring material to the homeowners home as they requested
I believe this complaint has been retracted, Please let me know if otherwise
Please see the attached document which outlines the process and procedure of requesting any improvements to the propertyThe document clearly states " The Declaration, Bylaws, and Rules and Regulations of the community may prohibit the owner from making changes to the property without an architectural review by the association(or the committee of the association) and the approval of the associationPurchasers of the property within the common interest community should investigate the financial obligations of the members of the associationPurchaser should carefully read the declaration for the community and the bylaws and rules and regulations of the association." As previously stated in our last response Century communities does not have the authorization to change the ruling of the Homeowner Association or to amend the Declaration, Bylaws and Regulations
This home-buyer was was sent a Mutual Cancellation- Release Agreement and letter dated May 24, explaining that they were in default per the terms of the Purchase Agreement on the above referenced property

We have been working very closely with this homeowner and others in the neighborhood to resolve grading, drainage and landscape issues around their homes Century's VP of Operations is handling this situation personally
Good Morning ***,I called the *** *** this morning and a very kind lady named *** advised me to send this to you in writing.I am requesting your assistance in re- opening complaint # ***Century Communities responded WEEKS ago now with an updated cancellation agreement contract to refund our FULL $7500. They told my wife over the phone that they would be sending the check out certified mail after they received the signed agreement from us, which they did on May 16th. We still have had no sign of the check, and they are again not returning our calls. This is completely unacceptableI now feel I am owed interest from this horrible company keeping thousands of dollars of MY money that I need.I am asking the Revdex.com to again contact the business and demand an exact date that my check will be IN MY HAND. I am rejecting this response because:This does not address the 3+ times it took to resolve certain warranty issues causing me to miss work. This also does not address the unfinished house we were forced to move into with a $6K+ option completely missing. The option was not installed until over two months after we moved in. I filed through the warranty system and emailed the CSR directly. Neither were able to rectify the issues in a timely or satisfactory manner

We apologize for the one day delay in receiving the keys to this homeAll of the home buyers that closed on this day (in escrow) received their keys the very next day and were allowed to move into their new homes

I am rejecting this response because: the company has offered us the
option to cancel the contract and return all of the earnest money deposit but the release was back dated eight monthsI am not confident that the company will not try to come back at me for more moneyNot accepting the offer until everything is in writing and signed by the companyI am still waiting

We have numerous issues with the drainage and landscape provided by Century Communities that were known at the time of closing and acknowledged by Century as items that needed repairSince July, 2015, despite emails and letters from us, these issues are being ignored
There are a number of trim/drywall/cabinet/window problems we have brought to the attention of Century's representativesWhile replacing a window that was of the wrong type, the repair person damaged trim, baseboard and ceiling areasThese and previously identified defects were acknowledged by CenturyWe scheduled repair work with Century more than weeks ahead of timeDue to a breakdown in Century's supervision, the tile and trim repair was not coordinated, resulting in the trim repair not being completed and preventing the painter from completing his work
In general, the quality of workmanship provided by Century is the worst I have seen in all the houses I have lived in over the years

This homebuyer chose to terminate the sales contract with us and signed a release stating that they were forfeiting their earnest money on August 18, 2016, we consider this matter closed
