This home buyer closed on their home and was given a check for the tile in the master Bathroom, we believe these issues to be resolved and this to be a successful closing

Century Communities Sales Manager has reviewed this situation and disagrees with the home buyer's comments The home buyer has signed a contract to purchase this home and Century Communities simply expects them to abide by the signed contract
During final inspection discovered serious defect with kitchen island granite. Issue was noted and now after 72 hrs of waiting and not closing escrow, still no resolution. Community EdgeView in Vegas
Century Communities is aware of the warranty issue at the mentioned residence, unfortunately, in order to make sure that the outcome of the completion of the warranty issue is a final outcome and that the home will never experience the issue again, there have been many months of
engineering analysis, testing and design. We do have a final design, a contractor to perform the work and have had our Senior Management contact the homeowner and also meet out on site in the past week. As of today, work is scheduled to commence by the end of January (weather permitting). Century Communities is committed to standing behind our product, we are sorry that it has taken longer than the homeowner expected for engineering, however some things should not be rushed. Many of the aspects of the discussions between Mr. Homeowner and Century are confidential in nature. We are committed to resolving this complaint and will do so with the utmost urgency from this point forward

and furnace issue once we receive a return phone callWe will investigate whether or not *** *** received the kitchen faucet that she paid for in her contract, if she paid for an upgraded kitchen faucet we will resolve this issue

I am rejecting this response because: I would rather have Revdex.com have a mediator for the two bathrooms poorly done 2-timesCracks on the floor in the master along with chipped tile near the master tub. Uneven tile in the mini master - just a poor job done that they seem fine with. Would like guys flooring to come and see the poor quality. Also being forced into moving in before the house that was not completely safe to move into, gas leaks and now mold in basement on the insulation due to hosing down the mud from a window well not installed for the entire time buildeing the house

I am rejecting this response because: I spoke with Randy, the VP of century communities, who agreed to come out and do a test paint job to see if the paint matches and also agreed to the boards being paintedThe representatives from century communities came and determined
that it would be necessary that boards be painted, this is not something we demandedAlso, $is an insult as an alternative to the issueTo say that the employees feel unsafe is ridiculousThere are builders in our neighborhood everyday, is the safety of them not important? Or is that just an excuse? The accusations made against my husband are blatant lies and defaming to his characterThey will no longer be toleratedI am currently waiting to hear back a date for them to come out and do the paint testI was told I would be contacted by today, Tuesday 8/We want the work done to our home that was warrantiedThis is affecting my resale value and we have had enoughRandy is aware of all of these concerns

This homeowner has every right to be upset with us as we have had plenty of time to address this landscaping issue but have failed to do soI have talked with our land development deptand they have now issued a PO# to our landscape

I am rejecting this response because it seems the compensation portion is being ignored. Am I to assume that no compensation will be issued? Should I proceed with other options? I am tired of requesting compensation for my time and reading these responses as if they are efficientIf you are not going to issue any compensation, resolve all issues and have my home cleaned as a result of Century Community negligence, please state that so that I can proceed in a different directionI have been in my home since 12/10/15 and I have had more trades in my home than visitors and we are still waiting on issues to be resolvedWe had multiple missed appointments and this is time that I should be compensated for in addition, for the last month I have had to sleep on the floor while a ceiling was repaired, yet I paid my entire mortgageThe ceiling didn't just leak, it was negligence on the part of Century Communities We have made some progress but understand the inconvenience as a homeownerWe want everything completed and compensation as well. We (Century Communities) contacted the homeowner on 9-11-and discussed these issues over the phone after having driven to the home site to evaluateWe have asked our Superintendent to have the north side of the home regraded as it is far
to rough in it's current state, once this is done we will re-evaluate the slope on this side of the home even though it has met our engineers criteria already2.Concerning the misunderstanding about the entertainment center the homeowner thought he purchased- this issue was addressed prior to closing but at this time Century Communities is willing to refund the homeowner the $he paid for the Buibookcase at LoftI personally inspected the landscaping of this front yard and found it to be well within our standards, in fact I complimented the homeowner for how well he takes care of his lawnWe will ask our Superintendent to meet with the homeowner to see what issues he may have with the landscapingThe homeowner said that he would contact GE directly concerning the issues he was having with the dishwasherI will pass his request for an apology letter onto *** ***

Mr*** *** (Vice President of Customer Service) and I (*** ***) spoke about the issues listed aboveI have not yet received a final resolution from Mr*** or Century Communities despite my last two phone attemptsPresently, I have requested the grade on the north side of the house to be improved a second time as it remains the same slope as it was with the exception of dirt clumps being broken upI have also requested Century Communities (via Mr*** to reimburse me approximately $for railing on the north side of the concrete patio due to the high elevation and poor north side gradeThis is in addition to the $promised for the bookcase issueI am further requesting that the northwest portion of the landscape (rock/plants) be improved (additional rock added and or grade raised) as the high slope presents a continued danger to my children and any parties walking in the area for improvements, maintenance, or repairs to the homeThe area also floods when irrigation is active and does not provide sufficient moisture to the planted vegetation required by the HOARegarding the lawn, I continued to take care of the grass in order to facilitate it's growth as Metco landscape and Century Communities did a poor job of installing the grass, trees and shrubsThe hardscape (rock and grade) have nothing to do with the overall complaint pertaining to landscapeIf these conditions are met in writing and upon receipt of payment in the amount of $as listed above, I will consider the complaint resolvedI appreciate Mr*** attention to this matter and Century Communities willingness to communicate with their customer(s) following the complaint being initiated with the Revdex.comI had hoped Century Communities would have been willing to work with me at a lower level prior to filing this complaint

I have had numerous phone conversations with the addressing his issues, we appreciate his patience as we work through these issuesWe have reimbursed the homeowner $as promised for the confusion over the built in at the loftWe are willing to offer the Homeowner $toward the cost of the railing that he had built in his rear yard even though the grade at the backyard patio meets code requirements and did not require a handrailCentury Communities is going to re-landscape the south-west side of the driveway due to us digging it up to do a sewer repair to the home next door, we do not agree to any landscaping repairs to the north or north-west sides of the home as both of these areas are well within our standardsThe Homeowner may want to consider installing some stepping stones to the hose bib area to deal with the sliding rock situationIf the Homeowner is agreeable to this offer we will process the $check immediately

We just moved into our new Century Communities home last month and wanted to write a positive review about our experience with the Century Team First of all my wife and I are very pleased with the quality and features we purchased in our new home We had the home built from the ground up and we had a Great experience with the whole process Our sales agent called us each week usually on Monday to update us about the status of the home, sometimes only to say that not much had been done the past week but they kept us informed The on-site builders were easy to talk to about anything we wanted to ask(at the appropriate meetings we had) We had a professional home inspection done prior to the drywall being hung and they addressed all the concerns that were in the inspectors report The home was finished in the month we were promised and everything about the home is 100% to our satisfaction The overall value for the price is hard to beat and we are very happy that we choose Century for our new home We did have a last minute issue with the tile in the master bath and the Century team fixed it in one day and we still closed on time Our final walk thru with the builder was very professional and he took care of all our concerns This is our fourth new home to have built and the first one with a production type builder and we found it to be a great experience compared to our other homes in the past We did opt for the sides brick as I would highly recommend over sided siding due to the look and the energy savings you get with brick We moved in at the end of October and our children came home for Thanksgiving and we all had a wonderful time together in our new Century Home for the Holidays I would recommend Century to anyone that has the temperament for buying a home from a production builder for the value If you want custom with total hands on say so in the whole process and want to make a lot of changes as you go, then do not select Century or any other production builder in the Atlanta marketplace You must do your homework, know exactly what you are getting up front, and make all your selections for options prior to signing the contract, this will make the process and the expectation level a lot smoother in the long run We spent the time (year in advance) planned everything we wanted and could afford, and signed the contract as soon as the community opened We are Very Happy with Century Communities and we recommend them as a Happy Customer!!

I am rejecting this response because:I understand that an HOA exists on our property The issue is that Century Communities said that they were managing the HOA, and they had the authority to approve our fence and landscaping I understand an HOA applies, but century should be held accountable for their representations that they had the authority to and were managing the HOA Century misrepresented the HOA as having the authority and able to quickly and easily approve my fence Due to their misrepresentation, I have had to incur additional expenses of hiring an attorney to get my fence approved that I thought was already approved I need for Century to be accountable for my legal fees
