Great company to deal withI have refinanced times with Cardinal FinancialTheir team is always courteous, timely and very professional
Easy application of the loan, and took care everything until closing
Oct 26th (Sunday) I reached out on-line to Sebonic to inquire about a loan for my new home purchase....on Nov 28th(Friday) I closed on my home
For a bit of background...I was told by several mortgage brokers that due to short-sales within the last four years (divorce) the only type of loan I would qualify for would be an FHA loan I decided to search the internet for possible alternatives and came across Sebonic Financial and thought I would reach out to them in regard to obtaining a home mortgage
I first spoke with *** on the morning of Oct 26th and explained my situation and inquired as to whether there was a possibilityThe laws on short-sales just changed Oct 1,2014...increasing the time period from two to four years before Fannie or Freddie will consider a mortgage UNLESS...there are extenuating circumstancesShe said she would go to her underwriter, explain the situation and get back with meThat very same evening *** called and requested I send in a short synopsis of what I considered extenuating circumstances for her senior underwriter to reviewI sent the requested information in that evening
Oct 27th (Monday)...I received another call from *** stating the underwriter had reviewed my information and had given her the green light to proceedShe helped me lto the account that was sin my name and explained in detail all the steps necessary to closureShe also stated I would be receiving a call or email from *** in Client Care to set up Client Care Conference where all the necessary documentation for the loan would be explained
Oct 27th (Monday afternoon) I received both a call and an email from *** setting up our client call for Friday Oct 31st at 10:00am
Oct 31st (Friday)- 10:00am sharp I received the call from *** during which she again explained the process and the required documentation
Nov 1st - Nov 12thI worked on providing the required documentation which was quite extensive due to the short-sale paperwork and other extenuating documents I was asked to provideI placed several calls to both *** and *** during this period and they always returned my call or email within hours
Nov 13th(Thursday) I was contacted by *** through email that my loan had been approved and she as my final loan processor was here to guide me through the final stepsShe requested a few badocuments which I provided directly to her and she was kind enough to upload them onto the system herself without requiring me to land uploadShe explained that there would be a short period of 'quiet time' during which she and the underwriter would be compiling all the information and working with the third party entities i.etitle company, insurance company, appraisers, surveyors on their required documentation
All of this happening while Thanksgiving was just looming around the corner
Nov 28th (Black Friday) I closed on the loan at 2:00pm as promised!
Honestly....I had the 'Dream Team' from Sebonic working with meI never once experienced what others state they experienced when working with SebonicAlthough I had my own doubts the mortgage going through.....***, *** and *** were always positive and encouraging throughout the entire 'Short' process
Had a great experience with Cardinal, who helped secure a loan for my new home purchase***, my originator, did a great job explaining the process and helped run through many scenarios with meI got a great rate, and closed on time
Cardinal got me the lowest rate, and tge process was pretty smoothI would have given 10/but giving 8/because I feel there is minir scope of improvementMy closing got delayed by a week and closing documents didn\'t have the proper updated numbersOther than that Cardinal was awesome.\r\nI was refinancing from Minnesota and I didn\'t personally see anyone and sent all my documents over email and mailI was so skeptical at the beginning but I am glad it worked out well\r\nTheir appraisal cost is little higher than others, but it happened too fast and came well.\r\nI would definitely recommend cardinal to any refinance customers\r\nThanks Cardinal for the best rate and smooth service
Great company who worked hard to clear up impediments to getting my mortgage refinancedThey were patient and persistent, which paid off in the end
I started the paper work in July in days it will be October AT the beginning it was Ms*** in Arizona on phone and e mail, then a Ms *** in NC .a Mr*** and now Mr *** in AZI Keep faxing texting and calling with no call backThey have lost my paper work # different timeswere starting on the ##3rd monthAS a customer once the get the appraisal fee they don't care how long it takes you can wait and no one at the no cares When I asked to Mr.*** ( name spelled wrong But at the AZbranch) to speak to speak with his supervisor he stated he did not have one he was itI have been trying to resolve this for over a monthbut they are not doing anythingEveryone tells me there going take care of it and have it done in a few days still nothingMy advice is to file a complaint*** then sign and start the loan paper workThat way you would be ahead when you do have to file
Very bad companyI locked the finance rate with them and I agreed with all their conditions, and they take their time on purpose, for long time, and they let the time for locking rate expires and switched me to much higher rate, knowing that I have no choice, either to agree on the higher rate and close on the purchase or lose the purchase because the seller can't wait that long time (more than a month and half)Very bad companyAlso they go by the name Cardinal Financial Services or Sebonic Financial
Cardinal Financial is a fly by night operationThe initial phase of my application was very smooth with great communicationAfter the first days the communication went to almost zeroThey do not respond to emails/phone calls etcI was supposed to close last Friday and due to an error on their part in obtaining my tax transcripts it has been delayedI was told last Tuesday days ago that my transcripts would be forwarded to the underwriters for final reviewI have not heard a single word from them in 7days with the exception of automated emails stating my rate can be extended for ***CONSUMERS BEWAREAVOID THIS OUTFIT AT ALL COSTS
I did a refi with cash out option My loan originator Al Almes was amazing, He was very responsive and able to answer all of my questions I was able to close in less than days and received my cash out amount less than a week later I personally had a positive experience Thanks Al!
I had the best experience and will only use Cardinal Financial in the future
I just closed a home loan with Cardinal Financethe best finanial institution I have delt with.This was my 3rd refinance in years, it was the most educating experience in refinance, the fastest process and closing and very professionnal but caring
At First I was a little skeptical about using an online lendor, even though the rates were better than my bankIn the end they were very professional and QUICK! We saved over 60k over the course of our loan and couldn't be happier with the process

MY LOAN PROCESS WAS HANDLED IN A PROMPT EFFICIENT MANNER THE PAPERWORK WAS HANDLED EASILY AND THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE WAS SO MUCH BETTER THAN I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE THANKS TO THE EFFICIENCY OF THE TEAM
Cardinal Financial promises but not deliversAfter they make you deliver all the paperwork they dissapear and stop responding to your emails and answering your telephone callsAnd they change your closing day arbitrarily to a later day (a week later) without any consideration to the implications on the customerDo not use this lender
Cardinal Financial has been superb to work with in refinancing our homeThe whole process was as easy as those things can be and they responded readily and quickly to answer any questions I hadI would recommend them to anyone looking to refinance their home
Gary is very thorough when doing my taxes He's very helpful and is always willing to answer any questions I may have
