[redacted] at Cardinal was great! He was able to lock me into an awesome interest rate and save me OVER $monthly! I highly recommend them if you are looking to your home!

The level of service, support and personalized attention I received from CF staff was beyond expectationsAs complicated the process of obtaining mortgage is, the CF staff made it very easy and worked closely with me to address every possible concernThey were very diligent in their service, and they were ready to ensure that we can address the worst case scenarios, which was amazing since my situation ended up hitting the worst case possible, yet with CF support and readiness, we managed to still close on same day with results that exceeded my expectations

My overall experience with Cardinal was pretty good bordering on excellent My Loan Originator, [redacted] , was very professional and very personableHe was always there when I had the tiniest of questions and very quick to answer themHe even found a deal when other companies told me there was nothing they could do My Loan Processor, [redacted] was also very personal and very professionalShe also answered any questions that I hadShe was very respectful of my time when it came to the follcallShe answered questions about the disbursement of funds and even gave me the phone number to the escrow company to follwith them The only complaint came from the loan signing schedulerHe was not very professional and he put a lot of pressure on me to sign the loan when it closed the same nightIt was like dealing with a used car salesman who needs to close the deal immediatelyI wanted to review the disclosures that evening and there was also some question about the impoundsThey were not correct so I obviously I wanted this to be taken care of before I signed the loan documents so I would't have to go through a long, tedious back and forth with Customer Service later Plus, my wife wasn't available to sign and there wasn't enough notice to change our schedules Other than that, working with Cardinal was very positive One suggestion would be to give a timeline about what happens AFTER signing the loan documentsIt was very nebulous as to when the loan would fund, when the debts would be paid, when I would receive my own disbursementThe escrow company I phoned never called me backIt might sound crazy but perhaps using a tracker like the Dominos Pizza TrackerAfter the loan is signed it should indicate when the title was recorded to when your old mortgage was paid to when the funds are disbursedJust a thoughtThis would have helped me instead of "waiting in the dark", so to speak Overall, a positive experience with CardinalI recommend them for your refi needs
[redacted] , our loan processor, was awfulRude, irresponsible, nonresponsive, unhelpful - had wrong closing date, had forms filled out wrong, etcWe expressed concerns about the accuracy of documents, and trying to reconcile documents provided by underwriting about things rejected, but did not hear back regarding our questions, and she was so impatient that one time just hung up on usIf our loan processor is supposed to be our point of contact, it would be helpful if she communicated with usHorrible for someone client facing to be unable to effectively communicate, and telling us she was about to leave work at 3pm on a Friday and complaining how she did not have time for us because she had meetings all day longWe saw the attorney sent them numbers on costs - but they were never updated in any of the estimates UNTIL the final This resulted in almost 2k increase than what was earlier disclosed We were personally keeping track of it, so it wasn't an issue, but if we were a typical ignorant consumer - we could have been at jeopardy of being able to close! [redacted] , [redacted] 's manager, never got back to us when we tried to file a complaint and seek for real solution twice because we were really worried our loan would be totally destroyed by [redacted] During closing, Cardinal Financial messed up our funding, causing us to wait for almost hours for nothing at the attorney's officeWhen we tried to call Cardinal Financial, [redacted] answered and hung up on us when she recognized our voiceOur Closer was completely unavailable and never responded to left messagesNone of the people we dealt with at Cardinal answeredWe had to call the number - and amazingly - they were all more helpful in this entire process than any of the dedicated folks we were working with, which is a huge red flag for customer service for any company Closing Coordinator - [redacted] basically freaked out everyone with his poor communication suggesting that we were closing weeks earlier than we were scheduledWasted our time, the lawyers office's time, our agents time, sellers agents time, etc [redacted] was a nightmareWe knew the form was filled out wrong, we told her that (before that we told [redacted] ), and ultimately it kept getting rejectedWe were concerned if we were even going to be able to close!! We had to call the IRS / fill out the online - which we quickly and easily found all the infoTruly incompetent at what she does Closer - [redacted] - probably the least objectionable of the lot, but still didn't really provide a lot of guidance on what we needed to doTold us we were good to closed - only causing hours waiting at closing because Cardinal didn't get all their funding documents straight, and Desiree never answered our call during the closing In general - we are happy we got our mortgageWe despise Cardinal's, [redacted] 's in specific, inefficiencies, redundancies, disrespectful tones, lack of communication, confusions, etcthroughout the processWe would not recommend to friends or family
I've just completed my 2nd mortgage loan (first was a refinance) through Cardinal and have been continuously pleased by not only their low rates and fees offered but how seamless and smooth the process has been The secure portal for uploading documents is easy to use and the loan officers are knowledgeable, responsive, and great to work with

The worst Customer service everIf you have any loan and payment related questions, you never get the right answerPayment system is very poor and anything goes wrong you have to call then it's like talking someone at IRSI had talked with CSR named ***, she was sleeping
Great customer service. My loan officer, [redacted] was always available and very helpful. We got our loan quickly and when any issue came up she handled it professionally and courteously.
I closed on my refinance loan with Cardinal Financial yesterday, October The process was a nightmare due to LIMITED communication with my appointed loan processor, Ms *** *** I began the loan process on August 28, A few days later, Ms *** called to introduce herself and explain the process On the 23rd of September, Ms *** sent me an email asking for two other documents and to schedule a possible closing on September I sent the two documents and left a voicemail and email stating that the documents were sent That was the last communication that I received from Ms *** After waiting almost ten days later with no return of my calls and emails, I called the client care center and was informed that Ms *** would call me by close of business She never called or emailed I called the client care on the next day and asked to speak with a manager and was informed that a manager was not available...so I threatened to cancel my loan and was quickly handed over to Ms ***; a very efficient and caring loan processer whom took the time and effort to spearhead my loan process After several weeks of delay and with Ms *** efforts my loan finally closed *** is to be commended I cannot say the Cardinal Financial is a bad company however I will say if Ms *** is Cardinal's face to the customer.....buyer beware
Cardinal was fast and super easy to deal withThe rates were the best, fees were low, and they let me slip closing a couple days due to my wife's health issues at no charge (for extending lock)I loved how easy it was to upload docs for processingHad to be the best experience I've had with a loan process out of a dozen or so over the years
I was contacted by Cardinal Financial in Asheville NC and was assured I was dealing with a local company when is essence I was dealing with a Mortgage Broker, after submitting the requested information I started receiving calls from Las Vegas and many other locations other than Asheville I was assured by the local contact that this loan was a "slam dunk" and after working with them for months they declined the loan, prior to the decline I had made arrangement to actually deal with*** and was offered the same rate and closing costs, the message here is to go directly to the source of the funds in lieu of dealing with a firm that is simply shopping your arrangement and in essence they are more than likely getting funding from the same place, please don;t waste your time with a firm that lacks in all ares and very unprofessional as it comes to communication

Over the course of the past seven years we have been financed a total of times, of which were purchases, were refinances, and were for HELOC'sThe last times were with Sebonic FinancialTheir programs have always been very attractive and I have never once experienced a bate and switchFrom the first contact with my loan originator ***, she has always explained all of the options available to meHere is the rare quality that I truly appreciate - she listens to what I am trying to accomplish and provides extremely good advice with recommendations of the products that will best meet my needsI have never felt pressured into a solution that did not meet my needs, and if she felt like the product was not for me she told me
The other thing that is rare is how quickly they are able to get the ball movingOther companies that I have worked with in the past typically got held up by the underwritersI have found that the underwriters at Cardinal Financial are extremely fast, thorough and treat you like a human being and not an application
The tools and the services that they utilize are extremely practicalEverything is done securely online, from the signing of your paperwork, to the scheduling of your appraisal and loan signingSuper easy and just plain smart
All of this adds up to an on time closing, in which the entire team at Cardinal Financial works diligently towardsThe funny thing is that this loan almost did not close on time, and it would have been my faultDespite me not responding for entire week, I finally got information over to them within days of my closing date, and they still made it happen
