The Banfield OWPs are a package of itemized and discounted preventive veterinary care services, such as vaccines, exams, and dental cleaningsThis package of services is designed to be delivered over the course of a year at any Banfield Pet HospitalClients can elect to spread the cost of the OWP over a year with equal monthly payments or they can elect to pay up front for the entire annual cost of the OWP
As indicated in the terms, a client can cancel an OWP at any time but if cancelled four or more days after the effective date, Banfield is entitled to recover the lesser of (1) the retail value of services used under the OWP or (2) the remaining monthly payments due under the terms of the OWP
In this case, River received services and discounts with a retail value totaling $Three monthly payments ($each) have been made towards the services receivedOn May 24, another monthly payments were waived as a client courtesy

most recent Health Certificate she requested additional services/certificates not typically included in her Health Certificates to MexicoAs such additional time was needed by the veterinarian to complete the requested materialsThis is why there were additional charges on the day in questions As this additional fee may not have been thoroughly discussed with Ms*** prior to the services we have, as a client service gesture, waived Ms***’s OWP payments for January and February
Ms*** was contacted by the local Practice Manager, MsFarmer, on March 19, where they discussed Ms***' concerns and reached a mutual resolution allowing Ms*** a credit for the unused services and Wellness Plan

I was not referred to another surgeon after Shadow was injuredHe was stable and had already received emergency careI called Banfield and I wanted to speak with my vet for a second opinion, I was blatantly ignoredI called all around slidell and spoke to another vet who reviewed Shadow's file and said they could provide the debridement surgery, wound care, and x-raysBy this time, I decided to stay with MedVet because the actual surgeon called me to discuss what was needed
At the time of the first visit, I went in to establish Shadow under a vet and get him vaccinatedUpon checkout the discussed a wellness plan with meI agreed to a monthly cost of a plan because it seemed helpful at the timeAfter that they printed out my receipt saying they did a worming, heart worm test, and blood panelHe had already been tested for heart worms the month before at Pearl River Veterinary HospitalI did not ask for anything except heartworm prevention and the vaccinationsI did not see any of these servicesI didn't know they would tack on services I didn't ask for
I have paid approximately $to this businessThe only thing I will pay for is TrifexisI am not paying for anything I did not ask forI feel that I have been lied to and taken advantage ofThat Wellness Plan is a scamIt was explained to me as a plan where I would have all of these perks for future visits at a lower rate by paying a monthly costThe only thing added was months of Trifexis that they did explain to me, that for $19.99/month tacked onto the wellness plan I could pay out TrifexisNot a finance plan for the first visit where services were provided that I did not visibly see nor ask forBy all means send me a bill for the remaining amount of TrifexisI'll happily pay thatHowever, I am not going to sit around and be taken advantage of.

plans designed to help make top quality veterinary care convenient and affordableWellness Plan services are provided at deep discounts under an annual agreement that automatically renews at the end of each 12-month agreement because Pets need annual careAgreements may be cancelled at any time, however if an agreement is cancelled before the end of its term, the client is responsible for the remaining payments on the plan or the full retail value for services and discounts used under the plan, less payments received (whichever is less) regardless of Pet status including Pet death or Pets given away
We understand that Ms*** has recently moved and traveling to the nearest Banfield for preventive care may prove inconvenientBanfield has provided service under the agreement and we are simply asking that Ms*** cover the services rendered or the remaining payments on the plan, whichever is less

I am not satisfied they are not being truthful They are too- toeing around the problem The tests that were to be completed like his vaccinations and heart worm prevention were never performed I was told that he received the heartworm preventative and vaccinations They lied on that Another thing that they said is I have a balance on the plan the plan is good for months and between what we had already paid them and the settlement amount for $would have covered the plan for a whole months and we use the plans for a month-and-a-half and the wreath the prices they charge me we're full retail like through the roof not even close in this area they didn't use the pricing from this area Banfield has done this before to several other people who have the same type of situation where they were not satisfied and that's why I stopped taking my dog there is because the cyst that is on his foot okay I asked the doctor to look at and she thought it was okay and it wasn't okay So what I'm trying to say is that services that were such as a heartworm test that were very important because my dog previously had heartworms that I was told we're done that's negligence has nothing to do with cos I'm talking about above and beyond negligence on that negligence on you know the city had on his foot because it could have been cancerous but they didn't even even test it or anything at the beginning that's why I was so dissatisfied and I stopped using that plan but if you want to know we pay for what that plan cost for a year so when they say they gave me a discount okay and we settled for a certain amount we sell it for what it would have costed me to go for a full months instead of a month-and-a-half and they said on the statements you guys that has been removed from my credit and the Creditor actually just called me like days ago saying I owed a balance of like $still so I don't know what stories that they're coming up with but I will hit every social media site everything I can legally do to warn people about this place because they've put my my dog's health at risk and we've been going through a lot of issues because of negligence on the part of their doctors so besides those things that happen in the beginning when it did get tested the cyst well she didn't draw enough cells out of it you know you figure with all the problems that we had they could at least do one thing right so we had to bring him back in there so they can stick them again and they can have it sent off to the lab again and then they didn't call us back before days because we left messages for straight days in a row and the doctor never called us back until so that's that's next out I'm worried about my dog and there's direct messages to the office manager and to the Doctor Who's in charge and it basically took like the fourth day when I called again that morning I said please make sure they call me I'll call for times so when it comes to money that I believe that I'm owed and that's just as best as being nice without without getting you know a whole bunch of you know social media involved and is my stuff as I can I'm in I'm in the technology industry so I know a lot I know a lot of areas that I can I can you know fill up and and and overload with with warnings to people cuz I think you know the most people look at their faces their children and I'd hate to see somebody else maybe lose it you know their animal besides you know how you know when you watch them go through all this extra pain and stuff for no reason because some doctor was just negligent completely so this isn't finished I'm I am not satisfied with the decision I'm not satisfied with which what they said cuz I mean they basically told you lies they weren't truthful still on my credit and they said that they gave me a credit of this and it removed it off my collection report well that's not true and another thing is that right there would have been enough to pay for the services for for a whole year that we had done so we didn't do it there was nothing else that was paid outside of that you know what was supposed to be done like the vaccinations in the heartworm prevention those are included in the plan so they said they they did though and they did not and I kind of worries me when somebody tells you they gave your dog heartworm prevention and he's had heartworms in the past knowing they could come back even more Fierce the next go-around as easy not a good thing usually resulted the death of the animal I think whatever avenues that y'all are suggesting on your end if you can get back to me and let me know something because you know it's as far as I know this report answered on time Thank you very much and I hope you have a blessed weekend.*** ***

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: First off, the payment on January 5, 2017, was not rejected, I know this because not only was there money in the bank, I actually work for the bank where the auto draft is taken from. AGAIN, this tells you what LIARS and CROOKS Banfield Wellness is. *** stated on 1/12/2017, that other customers were calling in that day as well complaining on how their banks accounts were over chargedI also mentioned to *** that this charge was supposed to come out of my account on the 5th of the month, which I had already deducted from my check registers balanceIn my first call on 1/12/2016, *** stated that that other customers were calling that day as well complaining on how their banks accounts were over charged and that the corporate office had a glitch in their systemWhy doesn't the Revdex.com and attorney Generals Office investigate how many other customers have been over charged. I would also like to add, all employees at that bank where I work, and where the auto draft is taken from has *** overdraft protection plans in place in the event there was an overdraft on an account, which is not a practice that is not encouraged if you want to keep your job. The Revdex.com and Attorney Generals Office just needs to take the time out to Googles Banfield Wellness, you will find hundreds of complaints against them for their billing and business practicesWhy doesn't the Revdex.com and Attorney Generals Office shut them down, why does the Revdex.com and Attorney Generals Office allows this type of business practice go on? I DO NOT do business with LIARS and DISHONEST people, Banfield Wellness is to cancel my plan immediatelyI received a call back from *** on 1/17/2017, she claimed to be the manager at the location where I took my dog. *** stated in our phone conversation on 1/17/2017, that she would work on getting the wellness plan cancelled on her end, and she was going to call me back, again, LIARS, she never called back. Just to be safe and to make sure *** did what she said she was going to do in cancelling the wellness plan, I will close the account where the auto draft is being taken from on Monday. Since Banfield wellness is not cooperating and they want to continue to be difficult, I will also contact the Kentucky Attorney Generals Office and the FBI's Consumer Fraud Division on MondayHow many other thousands of people are getting RIPPED OFF and OVERCHARGED

I am rejecting this response because:I tried to speak directly to the facility to resolve thisThe individual was very rude, he would not listen to my complaint and only defended the DoctorThe facts are that the Doctor would not even get close to the dog and did not even examine the dogShe was scared of the dog but would not seek help or offer any alternative to examine the dogShe did not take the dogs vital signs, did not check for an infection in the dog's eye but prescribed medicine anywayInstead of admitting she was scared of the dog and sending us elsewhere, she just ran up the bill and we received absolutely no benefit for our $paymentThis was dishonest and the individual was highly argumentative and would take no responsibility for the problems we encountered trying to care for our pet
