I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Ms. [redacted], Consumer Affairs Representative, is saying she has contacted her marketing representative in my area and that they are trying to get in touch with a store that is owed by the owner of the store from which I purchased the Ashley Furniture...but, so far, no one has contacted me about what they will do to replace or repair this Ashley Furniture that is peeling like crazy. Ms. [redacted] requested that I contact her directly. I began this process by contacting Ashley Consumer Affairs directly via email on July 31, 2014. After 20 days, I had received no response so I emailed again and said that I would need to contact Revdex.com. At that point, I received email back from [redacted] on August 19 who said that I would hear back from the marketing specialist in 14-21 business days. I waited the 21 business days without any reply or contact from Ashley or the marketing specialist. I emailed [redacted] again and she said that 'the part had been delivered to my door'. I told her I hadn't received 'a part' and she then replied, 'that was a mistake and my claim is being reviewed by the marketing specialist'. So, it was just back to square one. Now, I am being told the same thing about the marketing representative but he/she has never contacted me directly nor has he/she offered his/her solution to this problem and when it will be resolved. This furniture needs to be replaced/repaired immediately. This is a manufacturing issue and should be handled by Ashley Furniture directly as they should stand behind the furniture they make.

this answer does not resolve any issue. I have not been contacted by the store and keep getting a run around. As the corporate headquarters, all stores should be held to a certain standard. Corporate should work diligently to resolve any customer issue, especially when there has been fraudulent activity and horrible customer service and results. I want every issue addressed and I want the resolution outlined in my original post.

Furniture Marketing Specialist who works with Mobley Furniture. The Marketing
Specialist is discussing Mr. [redacted]’ concerns with the store and will request
someone from the store contact Mr. [redacted].

The love seat was sent to their warehouse facility and it was determined to my knowledge that the damage that had been done is in deed a manufacture defect. Also upon upon redelivery the furniture was further broken by delivery personnel. I have made many attempts to contact them in regards to these issues and have experienced a failure of them being willing to communicate. I have left several messages for the Service department manager with no response. It is in my opinion that Ashley furniture intentionally prolonged repair process because I stated that I was unhappy with the service and repair that was done initially. I explained to them that I did not utilize the furniture immediately upon receipt. Due to complications during my my pregnancy and was bedbound towards the end of my pregnancy with the furniture was purchased. I've been spent a number of weeks at my mothers where the furniture is not located.I do believe that the frame issue with the wood is the reason that the recliner does not close preferably. I am formed Ashley furniture that the recliner was not closing properly in the initial stages however I do not believe that that was relayed to their customer support by the person who took The complaint. Therefore the technician only looked at the frame and did not examine the recliner. I do believe that the frame may have been broken due to the recliner not functioning properly and inability to close it properly. I have asked them many occasions to speak with someone at the corporate level in regards to this issue however Ashley furniture has dodge my calls.
