I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]The response sent by Ashley is the exact same response they keep sending. After numerous calls to the [redacted] "Customer Care" department (the [redacted] facility my complaint is about), I was finally able to reach someone who would speak to me. They informed me that because I filed a complaint with the Revdex.com, all they would be willing to do for me is the bare minimum of putting velcro on my sectional. They consider this an acceptable solution to flat cushions?  I've never heard of a business retaliating against the customer that had a fair complaint. Best part is I had to repeatedly call them, no one contacted me. I have never had a manager reach out to me. Ashley Furniture has repeatedly shown me that the customer does not matter. Only their money. I want my money back for this defective sectional. I want to take my business elsewhere. I will never purchase another piece of Ashley Furniture. I am under no delusion that this matters to anyone at Ashley. That has clearly been proven. This matter is not closed. A customer rep repeatedly telling me everything is forwarded to the [redacted] Customer Care department solves no part of my complaint. No one at Ashley is interested in helping me, just ignoring me.

See my attached invoice from Ashley when I made my online purchase.  It says I am being charged for In-Home Delivery and Assembly Included.I needed this as I was sending this furniture to my pregnant daughter and her husband.  They left the furniture at street side and made my pregnant daughter and son in law have to carry this furniture into the home and assemble it themselves.  Since I paid for this I want my $99.99 shipping and assembly charge back since they did not do it.They just gave an excuse that they are looking into it with another department.  They have made no attempt to refund the money other then give excuses like they are doing to Revdex.com now.

warranty claims at the retail level. It states in the Claim Procedure section
of the warranty booklet Mr. [redacted] should have received with his furniture,
“If a problem should arise which you feel is covered by our Limited Warranties,
contact the Ashley Furniture Industries, Inc. authorized retailer from whom you
purchased your furniture.” I took the liberty of
forwarding the information provided by the Revdex.com to the Ashley Marketing
Specialist in the [redacted] area. The Marketing Specialist will assist store
management with this claim and will instruct them to contact Mr. [redacted]  to discuss his options.If you have

Please omit the paragraph regarding compensation for lost wages. What I meant to say is there was no comprehension for the amount of time spent at home instead of work waiting for a delivery.

We are very sorry to hear that Mr. [redacted] has chose to not accept our response to his Revdex.com claim. On November 10, 2014, his claim was forwarded to the Head of Customer Care for the independently owned and operated [redacted] HomeStore.
