Thank you for contacting Ashley Furniture Industries, IncWe appreciate that you have notified us regarding [redacted] situationWe take these matters seriously and want to ensure the proper steps are followed so a resolution can be reached in a timely mannerUpon receiving Ms [redacted] complaint, we have reached out to her Protection Plan Company We have found that she did file a claim with her Protection Plan company, reporting the sofa seat not in place, wood sticking out, and the back goes really far backShe also reported when you recline the sofa it comes out slower than it used to and treads on the rug are coming loose Ms [redacted] reported that the items have been like this since she had gotten themThe Protection Plan states claims must be filed within days of noticing the damage/issues The items were received on 7/31/but she did not call to file the claim until 6/22/2017, well beyond the day allotted time frameHer claim was denied by the Protection Plan due to reporting time frame being it was not reported within days of noticing the damage/issuesThe items in question are outside of the one year manufacturing warranty that Ashley Furniture Industries, IncHomeStore provides for their itemsWe have not been called or notified in any way that she was having issues with any of her items, had she contacted our customer service department we definitely would have tried to assist herOur sincere apologies for any inconveniences Ms [redacted] has had with her items and although she is outside of the manufacturing warranty, we would like to invite her to contact our customer service department at 800-240-to discuss the issues with her itemsRegards, Ashley Furniture Industries, IncCorporate Office KC

A new leaf could not be ordered for this customer, each leaf is cut to fit the table it comes with, if a new leaf was gotten for this customer it would not fit the table he currently has, so since we can not get a brand new leaf for this customer we have ordered a brand new table and once we receive the new table and it is inspected, we will call the customer and set him up for delivery

We will gladly replace the consumer's mattress By no means are we trying to "dodge" replacing a defective mattress There are certain requirements and information that the manufacturer of the mattress require us to provide and follow Having a serial number happens to be one of them In this case, the consumer decided to wash the cover to the mattress that is not recommended This caused the serial number to come off Despite, the manufacturer's requirement, we will go ahead and replace the mattress to satisfy the consumer because we value their business However, we recommend the consumer does not wash the cover on the new mattress, just in case we may need the serial number in the future We do sell a water proof mattress protector that is machine washable and would highly recommend that
