I will never even consider using this service. Mike, who is the route manager for our area in Texas, came to our door several times over the past few days.
My mother repeatedly told him that we were not interested yet he decided to continue to come by. The last two times he refused to leave and kept badgering her. He told her that he wouldn't leave until she got me on the phone so he could talk to me. She told him no and that we would call if we were interested.
He showed up the next day and did the same thing. She called me panicked because he refused to leave until she called me. I told her that we needed to think about it and we would call when ready. He came to our door not even an hour later, banging on the door. Drove our dogs insane. I told my mother to ignore it. He came back again an hour later, banging and banging on the door. My mother answered it and she told him we weren't interested. He kept pointing his finger at her and telling her that she didn't know what he was talking about, the service he was offering and that he wouldn't leave until he spoke to a decision maker. She told him she did understand the service and we just weren't interested. He wouldn't listen and kept repeating the same thing over and over again. She closed the door, but he still wouldn't leave.
My husband came to the door and talked to him. We told him we would call him if we were interested in setting up service, but this Mike guy just refused to acknowledge him. He kept repeating that he services 28 of our neighbors and shoving his tablet in our faces showing us appointment times. My husband told him two more times that we weren't interested and we finally just closed the door.
We have both been managers in sales and in no way, shape, or form would we ever consider these tactics effective in building relationships and gaining business. This route manager was the very definition of a bully. He continuously tried to intimidate his way into getting our business. Had he continued to press, I would have called the police.
Sorry to hear this occurred. This is so very backward from the Anthem Way of doing business I'm pretty much speechless.
I don't have a salesman named Mike in the Dallas
Area, so I'm not sure if this is related to our company or not, but if it is this is not at all how we train our salesman to represent 1) the Company and 2) a professional experience for the end user.
Please know that we take complaints like this very seriously. We have over 1000
positive reviews on Google (Yeah, 1000 for a pest company) and didn't get there doing stuff like this.
We will address with all our team leaders on our weekly conference call and hope you will accept our apology for this experience, not up to our standard at all.

Anthem only service our previous house 3 times. Product is not effective, and caused more pest.
Anthem only serviced our previous house 3 times, but continued to automatically draft out the monthly payments. The only reason they came out the 3rd time is because when they treated the yard where we had ant beds, it looked like they just put flour on it, and it actually caused more ant beds to appear. My husband had to call them multiple times because no one would answer nor call us back. So, when we moved, we advised them of the new address, and they never came out at all, but yet they called us when we cancelled our card that they were automatically auto drafting, so they could get their money. Now, they say we owe them $189, and threatening to send us to collections. They need to be investigated.
I am requesting that they write off the $189 that they say we owe.
Though we disagree with the record as stated in this complaint in terms of when we were notified of address changes etc. what's clear is that Anthem did not live up to its own standard of excellence in addressing the problem, servicing the correct home, and getting rid of the problems.
We had spoke with the customer Jason about his concerns and rather than completing the service we agreed to just have the customer cover the cancellation fee.
Customer was on credit hold when they did not pay as agreed.
At this juncture anthem will remove the cancelation fee from the account and zero out the balance.
Kobe and Logan stopped by and did an excellent job, in the past 20 years of us living in Texas this has been by far pest company we've had because they have it down to a science.

I liked that I was notified a couple days in advance of treatment. Henry arrived and was very professional and friendly. He asked if I had any concerns and answered my questions politely and completely.
This company never informs me of when they plan to show up. I have to call them. They do not treat my yard as agreed upon. I have dogs & a gate which is locked at all times. I have not had the agreed upon treatments and someone fraudulently charged my account $285. I have not had any response after multiple calls. I called on 1-8-19 to inform them a tech left a card stating my yard was treated but it was not & the gate was locked so the back yard was never treated. This is the 2nd time this has happened. The company does not call me back or inform me of dates and times for treatments. I have given this company my phone number multiple times. I called again to re-schedule and again the tech did not call me. Finally I called again on 1-14-2019 and I the Customer Service person HUNG up on me and never called me back. Then without any consent a fraudulent charge was placed on my card. I did not authorize any such charge and once the CS person hung up, no one attempted to call back or try to resolve the issue. This company does not deliver the services I signed up for. I want a full refund, because customer service is my 1st choice for service provider. When they come or if they come, no one informs me and no one calls me back to resolve the issue with treating the back yard.

Refund Since this company can not treat my property, I do not want to use them. I signed up for treatments of my entire home. They have not provided this service. I never know if they come or when they plan to come and they have not treated my back yard - except for the 1st treatment.
The manager is handling this and coming to my house in person 1-17-19
Jan 30, 2018 was the first time APC sprayed my house, and they sprayed inside (upstairs and main level and attic), and outside with granules on the lawn, swept away cobwebs and nest around overhang. A very good job. I didn't mind at all to pay $99 for the service.
The next quarter a different guy comes out and does the outside but nothing was done to the inside. However I did pay the $99. We are now getting spiders and ants and other pest inside. APC keeps hounding me to pay the $99, however they have not completed their service per our contract. I have received text, phone calls and emails, in which I have responded you will not get the $99 because you have failed on your service. I am looking for another pest company at this time. As far as I'm concerned I'm finished with APC. No second chances with me after the trust is gone.

This appears to be a massive misunderstanding for some reason between you, the salesman, the office, the service technician, all of us really
Per your contract Anthem only guaranteed service on the first service for the inside and outside. Anthem will return however at no cost to re-treat the inside of your home. If your quarterly service has occurred in 30 days have passed, we will not return unless the balance from the service conducted has been paid .
The issue with your account is that your account is more than 30 days past due and this is why you are out of status and we are unable to retreat until the balance on your account is paid .

As stated, you started with us in January which means you were still in contract with us so terminating your service Early would make you subject to additional cancellation fees.

My route manager kolter did a paper work to have him as my pest control and I like the way that he took the time to explain to me and I will like to have permanently Samuel to do the work
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed Samuel's service. We only try to employ and Train top notch staff so if there is something Sam did you want done please relay that to the office. Unfortunately we dont offer the same tech for each service so we can be VERY FLEXIBLE to our customers needs.
My Tech was Kurt. Very professional, knowledgeable and courteous. Explained the process and steps going forward. Great service.
Marco W showed up for my initial pest service today. He was very well dressed, polite, well spoken and I was very pleased how he walked my property with me answering any questions I had. His knowledge assured me I made the right decision changing pest service companies. As a company I am happy knowing they use safer approach with carefully chosen plant based sprays. Keeps my pets safe and me at ease for their safety. Great price as well! I recommend Anthem!
Always saw Anthem around the area but never looked into it. After having a bad experience with my previous pest control service, I decided to take a chance and am already pleased.
Everything I was told would be done was done. I had my garage sprayed, exterior wasp nests removed, lawn granular spread (I have spiders all throughout my lawn), they're available on Saturdays (huge plus), and are available up until 8pm...I work an hour + away and it's impossible for me to get home by 5pm Mon-Fri as I needed to previously. The service was great, all notes entered by the Account Owner were communicated and discussed. My home was serviced by Marco W on 7-21, he was friendly and very thorough upon his visit.
After a new service agreement for pest control Services I received the first and full house treatment. Later on the time for next quarterly follow up treatment date resume on July 2nd 2018. Unfortunately my house wasn't received the treatment. My house has security monitoring cameras and I didnt registered the personnel for service agreed. So when I called for claim my service the answer from Anthem was a wrong house number on the system. My service scheduled was performed on my neighbor's house. I can not understand how this could've happened. I got serviced on first treatment vut for my next one the tech got lost. I got charged by the unserviced treatment anyway. I request a reimbursement of that day on July 2nd but wasn't aproved by sercice management. After we got the house number correction o system on July 8 I got serviced by third time on July 11. Besides got rewarded by Anthem mistake. As a customer I think is unfair I got to pay for a mistake like that.

Billing Adjustment I request a full reimbursement for the service not granted on my house on July 2,2018 and the cancellation of agreement without fees or penalties by cancellation policies. The agreement stays that if I request a re service it is available upon request. That was not granted.

As addressed by the customer, Once the correction was made in our system we re-service the home at no cost
Had we refund of the second service that was done at the wrong house, we would have charged at the third service
Being that making the correction and then re-servicing the house fixed the problem no refund was issued
Anthem's policy is to re-service the home in between services for free until the customer is satisfied
We are happy to return if needed until the customer is happy with the service they have been charged for. The charge covers their property for 90 days and for that reason we cannot issue a refund

On July 16, Kurt came to my house for the initial treatment. He was super nice and explained everything that he was going to do. I was very pleased and would highly recommend Anthem.
Davian came out to my house for the first time service and did a good job and also explained to my wife about the service good job!
Davian is a great guy, personable and friendly.
He was quick and efficient. Look forward to working with him and this company.
