I received an ESA letter from this company that did not appear to be legitimate. The person listed as a licensed professional in my state had a license number that was not verifiable, the phone number listed to get a hold of said professional was not a direct number but an 800 number listed online to search for a licensed professional, and the address listed was not a place of business but a mailbox company. I have left several voicemails to the company and written several emails and have yet to hear back from anyone at the company to receive a refund. Their customer support just keeps emailing me back saying I need to call them to receive a refund yet no one will call me back.

Also, all of our calls are recorded and we have listened to those to confirm we issued you two refunds, one because you ordered multiple times, and the other because you were upset about a technical issue with the letter, which we have corrected. We understand how you could be upset due to that one mis-spelling, but we have since corrected that issue and can not stand by you spreading lies about our company. We are very sorry you did not allow us the chance to rectify this for you, but we can assure you we take pride in what we do and only perform at a professional level. 1) I spoke to your representatives multiple times in regards to placing my original order. NOT in regards to my refund. I spoke to a representative ONCE regarding my refund and that was AFTER I posted this review
2) I still have NOT received my full refund and it has been approximately 1 week since my original order was placed. I did not order multiple times. Your website had issues when I tried to place an order online and charged me multiple times, which your representative confirmed with me.
3) A professional letter head with a typo by a licensed professional is unacceptable. It is like a prescription. There shouldn’t be mistakes.
4) The letter I received still did not have a direct contact number or place of address. This is required for an ESA Letter.
5) When I wrote multiple times about my refund and left multiple voicemails, I received no call backs; just multiple emails stating to call again. When I finally spoke to someone, she was very rude. My review still stands and I have yet to receive a full refund from your company!
Here are the notes, we also have all the calls recorded, on 6/4 the first phone call - pt called and stated she has four separate charges on her card. She only needs the basic housing letter for both her pets. Then on you spoke to another rep 6/4 PT called because she was double charged on her account for the letter. She had attempted to make the purchase herself online but she did not think it went through so she called and made another purchase. So she has a duplicate charge. Explained to her what happened and that the first charge can be refunded. We issued a full refund of the duplicate charge on 6/4 Then on 6/10 you spoke to the same agent again, PT called to do a refund on her other order because she was unable to locate to Dr credentials online. Told PT that I can help her find on the board of psychology. Found his license number online for PT and told her can send to her in an email. Saw that the license number on her letter had an extra "0" that is why she was unable to find. PT said that does not sound professional to make that mistake and would still wanted the refund. Told her can but the $25 dr is non refundable. on 6/11 we issued a refund of $129.75 refunded, which is the amount you paid minus the doctor fee that is non refundable, per our refund policy and terms and conditions listed on the site.
We do understand that the letter should not have had a typo in it, but it is simple for a mistake like this to happen. We tried to rectify it for you and you would not allow us to do so, so yes your original review was not an actual representation of what happened and your experience with us. Now that we have refunded you, we can not provide any updates on your refund you will need to contact your financial institution. We are very sorry we did not have the chance to make this right for you but all issues have been addressed and fixed for our future clients. Thank you.
The website was simple and to the point to complete. Within an hour, my husband was approved by a legitimate doctor. He immediately received by email the two letters (for housing and airlines), along with a copy of our pet's ESA registration. Within 3-4 afterward, he received hard copies of these items, along with a beautiful harness displaying ESA for our dog to proudly wear. The certificate is high quality and we plan to frame it to display on our wall. We highly recommend this website.

I honestly didn’t know what to expect as I started this process. I am a retired veteran, 100% disabled due to PTSD. My therapist recommended an ESA, a dog in my case, and my pup has been incredible in my recovery. I decided to register him through American Service Pets after some research. I called them, they were professional, answered all my questions and I started the process. Within a day I received my documents via email, the doctor is legit and all is great. I cannot recommend American Service Pets enough at this point. They earned their five star rating from me, thank you!

I checked my status on the site and it says I was approved, however have yet to receive an email with my letter. I have yet to receive the email stating that I was approved which they said would be sent out after I was, I had to check myself in order to figure out. I'm afraid this is a scam now due to the other reviews, as they are saying the doctors addresses are fake and they are not legitimate.

As of now I will give the company a 2 star for allowing easy use of their website to get a ESA letter. I Would like to make a note that on the website it claims you get instant access to a pdf of the letter which you do not. I received a confirmation that they received my information and now just waiting for a letter to show up. I am worried that this may be a “Scam” only because the last reviews posted. I hope everything works and runs smoothly. I will post again when I receive my letter and get it verified.

Thank you for choosing American Service Pets, I would like to start by helping you better understand the website and the process we have here, in order for us to provide a true ESA letter we partner with Licensed Psychologists, the reason the website reads "instant access to a pdf of the letter" is that once it is approved you do have instant access, for instance, if its a weekend and we are closed and you apply and get approved, you do not have to wait for us to come in Monday morning to ensure your email is sent to you, our system sends that out to you as soon as your doctor hits approved! I can see where that can cause some confusion however we do keep our promises and this helps us meet a quicker service agreement. By the looks of it, you should have received your letter by now! Total scam I wasted my money airlines for not acknowledge this at all, I got kicked off a flight and I am a nurse! First responder
Hello, we are very sorry you are upset in regards to being kicked off of your flight, and we can assure you this has never happened to any of our customers due to our documentation. This is the first time we are hearing about this issue, the last communication we have from you was on 4/27, in which you stated you had to pay to be able to travel with your ESA because your address was incorrect on file due to an error when purchasing and you hadn't received your package as of that date and not that you were kicked off of a flight, we can assure you that we have provided legitimate documentation and there's no way that due to our documentation you were kicked off. Please give us a call to further assist you with this situation as there is not enough supporting evidence to allow us to help you via this review. We will also have a supervisor reach out to you to attempt to speak to you in regards to this situation.
The negative side of our digital world is that the people who are most inclined to review are often those that had a negative experience. I was really frustrated when I was looking to get and ESA letter for my newly adopted dog Vaga. I was SUPER hesitant going into americanservicepets.com. But because I was short on time and couldn't get an appointment with my psychologist before Vaga would be joining me - I decided to give it a shot. Everything about this site this is legit and worthwhile. It states my medical history, it refers to the legal documents that support ESA certifications, and it was approved by a psychologist practicing in my state. After I filled everything out, I got a confirmation email that informed me my application was under review. I chose to rush the service, because I needed to show my landlord within 24 hours. I got the "under review" email at 10:04. At 11:05 I was approved. I don't know if that's characteristic of all rush orders, but that just happened to be my experience. 5 stars - would DEFINITELY recommend.

I received a letter from this company for my dog utilizing him for my anxiety and depression. My apartment did not accept the letters provided from this company and when I reached out to customer service, I got no help. I ended up having to re-home my dog and I also got kicked out of my apartment. I asked for a refund and they would not give me one. This is another scam company.
Hello, Ms Vogel, I have located your account and was able to verify your account with the information you provided. So according to our notes you purchased on 4/20/2019 you called in on 5/3/2019 explaining your landlord situation and you spoke with the manager at the time, who provided you with your local HUD's information and legal information you would need to validate your ESA letter, you did not ask for a refund and you stated on a recorded line that you would be contacting HUD and FHA and would update us accordingly, we did not hear back from you until 3/19/2020 where you emailed stating you would like a refund, our customer service team emailed you back and asked you to call in to speak with them so they could better assist you, you emailed back explaining that you tried to call us, which we have no record of a call coming from you, the agent explained the refund policy, which was also explained on 5/3/2019. This states no refunds after 30 days of purchase, unfortunately you did not contact us within those 30 days in order for us to issue a refund, therefore when you did not reach back out to us we assumed everything was settled. We do apologize you had to go through such things, but that was not a result of our product, your landlord can not discriminate against where you obtained your letter. We do our best to help with any situation, next time just give us a call and we would be more than happy to assist with any issues you could be having.
Don’t work with them. Recieved my letter and looked up the name and liscense number. The number doesn’t exist. The psychological office the address is attached to has no staff information, just a phone number to call and their Facebook page has no posts, likes, reviews, or followers. The name on the letter is associated with two different people. No information on one other than a name. The other one was in Maryland. The fact that the LISCENSE NUMBER FOR MY STATE DOESNT EXIST is proof that it’s a scam.
Hello, we are sorry you have had a bad experience, we have located your account and confirmed there was an issue with the license number for your doctor, that was updated and fixed on 1/17/2020. Your doctor just went through a name change therefore there are two names with that doctor. However, these things to do insinuate we are a scam. We do apologize for the inconvenience but we can assure you we are not a scam and we do have plenty of posts, likes, and reviews and followers on our Facebook page and our Instagram page - American Service Pets. We have thousands of happy customers, and pride ourselves in taking care of our customers. We are replying here to attempt to rectify the situation, we are also personally reaching out to you to better explain to help you understand that your letter is indeed valid and we are not a scam.
This is a SCAM!!!! They sent an "approval" letter through email and I thought everything was good until my landlord had to send a verification form, that's when everything went wrong. The fax number they gave me was invalid and after my landlord tried it numerous times with NO success, she agreed to send it to their email. Every time she tried to send it, she got a response saying it was an invalid email. She even showed me the responses in person and all the information matched what American Service Pets/My Psychology Group gave me. I called the company after every failed attempt to make sure my info was correct and to see if I could get alternative info, they said it was correct and there was no alternative info. After 3 weeks of going back and forth between my landlord and the company, I decided to try the email myself. I sent a tester email then called My Psychology Group to see if they got it. They said they didn't get anything but they took down my email and sent a tester back that I didn't receive once I was able to check my email. I told them I couldn't get emails while I was on the phone because I had to check it from my phone, keep this info in mind for later on in the explanation. They then told me I could email the form to American Service Pets and it would be forwarded to them. Before I got off the phone I asked could My Psychology Group verify a tester email from American Service Pets if they sent one for me and I was told yes. I called American Service Pets and told them what was going on and asked for a tester email to be sent. They told me just send the form to them and they'll make sure My Psychology Group receives it. I asked for a tester email about 2-3 more times before they agreed to send one. I called My Psychology Group back to verify if they got the email, a new person answered the phone ( names were never given until the last person I spoke to). She told me they aren't able to see the emails unless they were sent directly to the person on the phone, only the doctor can see emails for the address I had and he wasn't available at the time. I told her that wasn't what I was told when I just called a few minutes ago. She put me on hold and I got hold music. She came back to the phone and told me they got my tester email but the email she gave me was the email I registered with them not the email I sent the tester from. I asked for a manager and told her that was not the email I sent it from and she put me back on hold. This time no hold music. She came back to the phone and instead of giving me a manager, she gave me an email that was very close to the one I used but she was pronouncing it wrong so I asked her to spell it for clarity. She told me someone else was giving her the email address and saying it to her so she may be pronouncing it wrong and she would have to put me back on hold to get the correct email spelling. She put me back on hold, again no hold music. She came back to the phone and attempted to reassure me that they did get the email but she could not give me the spelling and if I didn’t believe her I could resend the email which would require me to get off the phone. I told her if they really received my email they should be able to read off my email address and again requested a manager. She told me there was no manager available but I told her I didn’t mind waiting so she put me back on hold. I got hold music again this time. She got back on the phone(it was OBVIOUSLY the same person pretending to be someone else) and said she was a manager with American Service Pets which immediately sent off a red flag because I was supposed to be on the phone with My Psychology Group who is said to be a partner with American Service Pets but they are not the same company. She went on to explain they got my email and it's not their fault the landlord isn't able to send it so I asked her to spell it for me because if they really got it they should be able to spell it. She put me on hold AGAIN, this time no hold music. She eventually came back and gave me the correct spelling of my email however I was unsatisfied at this point and decided to give some push back. I told her I knew she was the same person and I'm starting to feel like I'm being scammed. She then told me she never said she was a manager and that there were no managers available. Went on to say that she was a supervisor(as if manager and supervisor are different positions) and there was no one over her who I could speak to. At this point I could hear loud laughing in the background. I requested to speak to the doctor and she told me he's not available because he was with patients but he did send me a tester email and I could check my email to see it, which again would require me to get off the phone. I told her I didn't mind holding until he was available. She told me it could be up to 24 hours and I told her that was fine with me but I wasn't hanging up until I spoke to him. She put me on hold again, this time hold I got music. As I'm on hold, my boyfriend decides to call American Service Pets to see if they ever sent the email. He gets the exact same hold music I have on my phone, the phones were literally harmonizing because it was the exact same part of the song on both phones. She comes back to the phone and tells me my boyfriend is on the other line so she has to hang up with me and hangs up the phone before I can even say anything. Keep in mind she said this before anybody even answered his call. She answered his call and I got on the phone and let her know I want to pick up where we left off before she hung up on me and to please get the doctor on the phone. She went on to tell me the doctor is not available and placed me back on hold before I could say anything else. A man named Royce got on the phone saying he was the manager. I told him that his previous rep lied to me multiple times about there being no managers available and said that she was the manager. He never addressed any of the issues I had with the representative and went on to repeat everything that she said. Frustrated at this point I let him know I was going to go up to my landlord to verify all the information she was entering one last time and if there was still an issue I will be reporting them to the Revdex.com. When I went to my landlord that’s when she showed me all the documents of the failed attempts and let me know she did her own research on the doctor(Raymond Small) and she feels like I’m being scammed.

American Service Pets handles the products and customer service, and we partner with My Psychology Group which is our doctor's offices. We can see how this can be confusing but we do use the same hold music for both companies, however, that does not mean that we are a scam. We simply use the same hold music, and phone companies. The fax number you were provided is correct and we have verified that you were given the correct fax number through our compliance and investigations department. In regards to the fax issue, we verified your landlord was told multiple times that the fax would not work and she would need to email the letter. We have since had the fax worked on and is now working again. We also verified that you had an authorized representative email your doctor and your doctor replied to the test email but there was no other response on your end from the authorized representative. We have also put in a request for your Doctor to reach out to you directly, which is out of protocol but we pride ourselves in customer service and would like to see this situation handled for you, so you and your ESA can live happily together! Again we do apologize for the experience you had and we will follow up and ensure that any action needed will be taken. In regards to solving your issues, we can assure you that we will do everything in our power to receive the information and handle the request for you and your landlord. In the meantime, you can have your landlord reach out to us to provide an email and we can request the doctor email your landlord directly to start the chain of communication so that your form request can be handled. I live in Florida and received my ESA from AmericanServicePets.com yesterday and proceeded to verify licensure of the psychologist in the state of Florida. He is NOT licensed in Florida, only in Arizona. He has no medical office in West Palm Beach which is his address on the letter. I also checked his website, MyPsychologyGroup.com, and there is no information on it whatsoever regarding any doctors, a location, or links of any kind to services offered. I called his office phone number and the woman on the voice recording sounded exactly like the woman I spoke to yesterday at American Service Pets. I find this very suspicious. Many people who left great reviews are lucky in that their housing management never verified validity of the letter. I’m going to hand in my letter today and hope they don’t check it’s validity!

In regards to your doctor, we have pulled up your account and have verified the information. Your doctor ( who's name we can not disclose publicly due to HIPAA regulations) is licensed in the state of Florida, as well as, Arizona. The mailing address for his licenses is in Arizona therefore the Arizona address is what shows for his licenses. This address on file for the license is for mailing purposes only. Therefore your information here is not correct. My Psychology Group is the group our Doctors practice under, I apologize that our website is not up to par with your standards, however the website is still being built and will eventually include all of the things you have listed. Our guarantee is that all of our letters can be 100% validated, whether that be through the state websites or via reasonable accommodation forms. But, we do work diligently to ensure all of our doctors patients receive excellent customer service as well as a dedicated support team. We are looking forward to your landlord accepting your letter and will do anything in our power to assist in the process!
