I am in my 50s and have purchased MANY items over those yearsI would have to say this was the absolute worse experience I have ever hadI had to rate this one star because zero star was not availableIt was that bad!
They lie to you on delivery dates and don't tell you about delivery fee ($in cash) until the day of deliveryMy initial order was to be delivered that day Long story, NO, it was delivered weeks laterDuring that time, I called times over week period Same routine "Truck coming in, they will check, and give me a call back." NEVER called me back on any of those timesTwo days after I received the furniture, problem with two of the piecesAfter a few calls, emails, and pictures, they agreed to reorder the two items Yes, I was told - weeks for delivery I WISH!
weeks later YES 11, I finally got resolution However, during those weeks, another calls to different individuals and same process for each person "The will check trucks coming in, will call you back." NEVER EVER got call backFinally was asked to come in and MUST pick new items as the original are no longer being sold This only happened because I continued to call them back Had to settle for something that I did not really want (All sales final policy.)
Run as FAST and FAR as you can away from this company!

On December 28th, we purchased a king size mattress set, a couch, and a loveseat from American Freight in Carnegie, PAUpon delivery of the order on December 28th, 2017, we noticed two large holes in the king size mattressMrs*** immediately called the store and spoke to Chris, the person who sold us the mattress, and informed him of the issueHe told us that they didn't have one in stock but would order one and it would be delivered within the next monthMrs*** called once a week for three weeks asking Chris as to the whereabouts of the mattressEach time she was told that the mattress had not yet been delivered to them and that they would call when it was delivered
A month later, on January 29th, Mrs*** called again and spoke to ChrisHe told her that due to "a little bit of turnover" the mattress that had come in for us was no longer availableWe were told that they would contact the other store and see if they had one and would call us back s
On 1/25/we placed a couch set in layaway being put under the impression that the set would be ready for pick up once we came and paid in fullWe paid in full on 1/25/and were informed that they only had the love seat available and were very sorry they would have it in store the following Tuesday 2/11/because the worker would personally go pick it up from a store close in locationWe only had a truck for the current day and they offered to deliver it to us for freeWhen we paid with a check we were told it would take days for the check to clear and they would deliver it 2-16-That was totally understandable and we agreed2-16-16, my husband called and spoke with the store and was told that yes they were on schedule to deliver on that date, they would call when they were close byAround o'clock my husband called again and was told that they were just headed to Goodletsville to retrieve the couch (we were put under the impression they already had) and if time all
Buyers Beware, would never shop this place again, has been a terrible experience, on delivery day, no call and show at all, when they did deliver didn't have coffee table that we bought and to this day, over a month later still don't have the coffee table or end tables we bought, customer service has been atrocious, would not reccrecom this place to an enemy

I purchased two couches among other furniture from American Freight back in April by June the stitching had come out of the couch and exposed the stuffing of the cushions I called immediately and was told this was definitely a manufacturer defect and they would put in for the replacement of my couch Since that time I have called and spoke to multiple people including the assitant manager Diana, manager Melvin and regional manager Grace who have all told me "I'll send another email but can't promise anything" The regional manager told me that she would try to call during the day tomorrow for an update but wasn't going to say she would call me back as she is a very busy person and doesn't want to be added to the list of people that told me they would call me back and then didn't I still have no replacement couch that has exposed stuffing with toddlers in my home and no hope of any type of replacement

As soon as I bought sectional not even weeks later began to fall apart I explained to manager said send pictures and explain damage and he said would process refund with corporate now they arent trying to refund me for this some dollar sectional that is completely junk and falling apartI have no money to be able to even purchase something else for me and my familyThey have just been giving me the run around and I have been waiting I bought this sectional on 2/29/and received it in march.And now sit on floor because of how low quality ut is and falking apart at seams

I purchased a twin size trundell bed with delivery set for June 2ndThe delivery ended up getting "over looked" and the salesman I had purchased from delivered it at 9pm that night; only then informing me that the extra delivery charge I paid did not include assembly
On June 3rd I attempted to assemble the bed myself, only to find that what had been delivered at 9pm the prior night was two different styles of beds, in two different colorsOn the 4th of June, I was able to have the correct parts brought to me, only then to be informed that I would be charged an additional $assembly fee, which I paid so that my son would not go a 3rd consecutive night without a bed to sleep on in our new home

I purchased a table with chairs under warranty and I am trying to file a claim with the warrantyThe warranty company says they do not have any information on me and I called the store back and spoke with Richard and he told me they sent ithe asked me to call the warranty back and get a fax numberI did that and he said he faxed everything to them I called the warranty company today, a week later and they said they do not have me in their system and it onky takes about hours to process I called Richard back and he said “well they didn’t call me to say it was an issue) He was trying to tell me to call them again but as I said to him, I am the consumer, I should not have to keep calling everybody back to make sure the information is exchanged I want my warranty honored immediately before suing this company for breach of contract
I purchased a couch and picked it up on 4/06/It was all wrapped in plasticThere were supposed to be legs for the couch and only four were includedI have called three times and each time they said they were going to mail the four legs that were missing and it is now 4/30/and I have not received themI drove minutes to pick up the couch and they forgot to put the four included legs in the enclosed packageI advised each time that I am not driving minutes there and minutes back to resolve an issue that they causedEach time they said that it would not be a problem and that they would mail it

On December 13th of I had called to ask for a refund on my bed set that was falling apart I did everything they asked sent pictures took down my one star on fb about the bed my refund so I was told was approved and it would take - weeks to get here and when it does I was to bring the bed set back and swap for the checkWell after weeks and not receiving a phone call about the refund check it called and kept getting a run around from the employee's about it not being there yet so I asked for a Manger and come to find out my refund check was not put through to be approved so they have lied to me for about weeks So when I called on January 2nd I was told that this time it was put through and it was going to be rushed for my inconvenience So I waited about a week and call and the Manger would not get on the phone with me or call me back I was told that it was not there yet and that they would call when they get it I'm getting very up set that it's been another weeks t
I would steer clear of this businessI purchased a sectional from this store, I was happy with it until I realized the seams were coming apart and a spring broke loose in a cushionThe manager was great and immediately walked me through the steps to getting a new oneThey assured me that the warranty was untouched, I asked if I should purchase another warranty so we were covered, they told me this was a manufacturer defect so I was fine and the warranty was still in placeUnfortunately, the same thing happened to the replacementI sent pictures and said if we use the warranty that would be fine but now they tell me the warranty is no longer good and I am stuck with a busted sectional unless I would like to purchase anotherI do not have the money to just buy another sectional, I spent about on this and the ottoman just to have a piece of junk falling apartDo yourself a favor and go to another store, save yourself the headache

Went here and was extremely excited to find I could put something in "layaway" till it was paid offPut my amazingly perfect couch in layaway till we singed on our housebc we just wanted to start fresh with everythingAnd paid it off in only monthswe signed for our house and were super excited about picking up our couchWhen my husband arrived they realized the couch we had been paying for this whole time had broken and was missing pillowsThey offered the sectional at a discounted price but it wasn't a sectional at this point it was a tad bigger than a sized couch without the broken peicethe other option offered was to find something else at the same price I had already paid(All the time no refund was offered even with taking the broken couch for less, the remaining money would be store credit)I couldn't find anything else I liked or that would look decent in my new house so I asked if I could just get a refund bc I could get something I liked at another storeI was told I could not get a refund and that I had to choose something or wait till they got different couches in and keep a store crediteven though I was paying on a couch that was perfect that I did not get bc someone broke it in the storeI ended up picking a couch I did not want having to pay more money bc it was a little more money only to get it delivered and it has scuffs and gouges all over itI wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemyand I'll never do business with them againI hate my new couch and I worked really hard with extra hours to pay the couch I originally wanted off in monthsvery dissatisfied ex customer
