Review: On 12-**-2010 [redacted] signed a contract with Affinity Solution for a credit card rewards program, for a percentage of charges to be returned to my customers who use there credit card at [redacted].

In the past two or more years I have tried to contact Affinity Solutions in order to cancel our contract, that could be done at any time by sending an email stating to cancel the contract, I would say I left 30-40 messages with there answering service or on a voice mail to get an email address or a direct fax number to the correct department, so that I could send my cancelation notice. I never heard back until I finally talked with [redacted] on August [redacted] 2014, he sent me an email so that I could cancel, but Affinity Solutions wants me to pay them for the two years that they would not respond to calls. [redacted] sent me an email offering 40% off of what they want me to pay. I have sent him emails, and called him four or five times since August with no response again.

I have also contacted a few of my customers who were suppose to be getting reward from this program and they knew nothing about the program or the name Affinity Solutions.

Affinity Solutions is now threating me with collection, and formal complaints.Desired Settlement: Affinity Solutions needs to clear my account with a zero balance, stop sending me invoices, and end my contract

Re: ID [redacted]

To Whom It May

Concern:

This is in response to the concern/complaint filed by [redacted]

[redacted] ([redacted]), dated September **, 2014. Affinity Solutions, Inc. (Affinity)

manages financial institution rewards programs. Affinity contracts with a large

number of merchants that elect to participate in the programs (such as [redacted])

wherein we promote those merchants through various reward program

communications. In exchange for driving business to the merchant through the

program, the merchant agrees under contract to pay for a discount/reward that

program members receive for having bought goods or services through the

merchant.

Firstly, Affinity wishes to apologize that a reply was not made to

your messages. We will investigate and

ensure that you have an opportunity to communicate with someone in short order.

To answer [redacted]’s statement, our contract on record is dated December **, 2010,

as signed by the [redacted] Affinity had sent invoices and other payment reminders

to seek reimbursement as is owed under the contract, which [redacted] acknowledges

having received. However, Affinity did not receive any notice of cancelation

until August 2014. Affinity merely seeks its rights under contract to collect

any outstanding amounts owed for rebates paid out to the customers.

While we maintain the existence of a valid contract, given [redacted]’s

forthrightness recognizing the invoices sent by Affinity, we have decided to

suspend further attempts to collect such outstanding amounts rightfully owed to

Affinity. Affinity does request [redacted] provide a signed cancellation notice for our

records, and we consider [redacted] cancelled from our program. We wish [redacted] luck with

his business. Thank you.

Regards,

Affinity

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

I will be willing to close the complaint when I receive a invoice stating that I have a zero balance owned to Affinity Solutions. After numerous phone calls, voice mails, and emails last week I finally got ahold of Joset and told her what I needed, she turned me over to [redacted] who was extremely rude when she left me a message. I have since returned her phone call asking for the invoice with no reply what so ever.

Review: This company continues on sending statements about unknown charges and the most recent letter states that they are going to send my outstanding invoices to a credit agency. I have no idea what this company does for my business nor what these unexplained charges are about. I have called Infinity Solutions countless times over a year period. I have left numerous messages. On February [redacted], 2014, I faxed a signed document stating that I no longer wish to do any kind of business with Affinity Solutions and to cancel any and all contract agreements. As stated earlier, I do not have a copy of a contract nor have any idea what this company does for me. It appears to be a scam company. Every time I I have called, I have yet to speak to an actual individual, it is all recordings.Desired Settlement: For this company to stop contacting me regarding unknown charges.

Review: In 2012 I signed up to use a credit card servicing company for my small business. Without it being fully explained, I signed up for a cash reward program through a Affinity Solutions. I was not told what I was signing by the representative. I received a letter from Affinity Solutions in November that I decided to look at and found that I owed them money. I had never opened anything from this company before because I thought it was "junk mail". I called the company on November **to see what this was for and I finally had someone call be back on January **! I have talked with them. I have sent in the form to get out of the program, but I don't believe I should be responsible for the payment because of the deceptive practice by which I signed the form. It was never explained to me and another company besides the one I was using for credit card processing was ever mentioned.Desired Settlement: As stated before, no responsibility for the payment of the amount.

Sincerely,

Review: Affinitity Solutions is billing our business, Exquisite Leather & Luggage, Inc. for some customer cash-back rewards system of some sort that Exquisite Leather & Luggage NEVER AGREED TO. The description of the charge on the bill reads,

"As per Agreement between EXQUISITE LEATHER & LUGGAGE and Affinity Solutions, Inc. Cash back rewards for Wells Fargo Credit Consumer customers who shopped EXQUISI" - the description stops there on the invoice.

The total amount billed is $70.00 on invoice # [redacted] dated 1/**/2014.

The company has a phone # to contact, but there is never a live person to talk to. Two voicemails were left at their number, and no callbacks were made.Desired Settlement: Exquisite Leather & Luggage, Inc. (ELL) never entered into an agreement with Affinity Solutions for anything. Burden of proof of "Agreement between EXQUISITE LEATHER & LUGGAGE and Affinity Solutions" falls on Affinity Solutions.

Desired outcome is for Affinity Solutions to stop sending invoices to ELL.

In exchange for driving business to the merchant through the program, the merchant agrees under contract to pay for a discount/reward that program members receive for having bought goods or services through the merchant.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

Affinity's response is that the [redacted] signed a contract. The Affinity Salesperson who "sold" this contract misrepresented what this program was about. Affinity now claims there IS a service fee (a fee charged by Affinity to [redacted] for their dubious reward program services).

The [redacted] signed a document in July 2012 that states a $0 service fee. If the service fee was not meant for [redacted], then who was it meant for? The Terms section of the Contract is written from a prospective end-customer of [redacted]'s - that is, "Spend $100, get $100 Reward Max." See attached copy of so-called "agreement" which shows the completely misleading Service Fee and Terms. Only the Service Fee section stating $0 service fee made sense to the [redacted] when the document was signed, as it was taken to be a zero-charge service fee.

It was not until September 2013 that Affinity began billing [redacted] for the first usage of Affinitys' program by an [redacted] customer. The time between the [redacted]'s signing of the document with Affinity and the first time that an [redacted] customer supposedly used Affinity's rewards program was 1 year and 2 months - long enough for any retailer who is already is busy enough with bookwork and running a small business may overlook and simply pay the invoice, which amounted to only $60 in a Sept. 2013 bill. [redacted] did not fall into this trap.

Now that [redacted] understands fully what Affinity does for its business, i.e., milk merchants for extra fees for questionable return on increased revenue (when in fact most credit card banks already offer rewards programs funded through their own merchant service fees). What [redacted] signed was a worthless, non-binding document that was presented as an agreement.

Through this email via Revdex.com, [redacted] wishes to cancel this dubious "contract" as Affinity Solutions sees it. [redacted] has no intention of paying Affinity invoices due to misrepresentation on Affinity's salesperson's part as stated above. [redacted] wishes to not have any further correspondence with Affinity or its agents.

Sincerely,

Sincerely,

Review: I have never heard of this company until they started billing me a year ago. I called them and they were supposed to remove me from their system. Have called numerous times since then and they disappear a few months and pop back up. It has something to do with rewards on credit cards which we would never be in a program like that. They always put [redacted] in front of our name which is also a bank I have never or will ever use. We got a letter today telling us we had until oct * to pay them. Even thought the amount they claim we owe is small. We have never dealt with this business or entered any kind of agreement with them. issuer, managed by Affinity that provides cash-back offers at participating merchants

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

I was forwarded a copy of this so called contract. It was never signed by anyone with this company. This is a fake contract with a rubber stamp name at the bottom . Review: I have received 2 bills from this company whom I have never done business with. They have my merchant ID # and processing information and when I called my credit card processing company they assured me that they have never heard of this company and that they never shared my information with them. I never signed or agreed to doing business with this Affinity Solutions and had never heard of them before receiving a bill. When I called the number on the invoice to try and resolve it they kept telling me that the accounts manager was not available. I fear this is a fraud scam and I am concerned how they got my personal and business information in the first place. Review: We have received several billing statements over a seven month period. Upon the arrival of each bill we have contacted this company to explain the nature of the bill. They responded that they could not tell us at that time and they would have to call us back. We never received a phone call until the end of last month (September). They did not want to release to us a copy of our "contract" but instead offered to let us only pay half of what was owed. We refused to without a copy of the contract.
