I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I received another RedPlum in the mail today, about 8 1/2 weeks after the record they admit to having on file of me requesting the mailings be stopped. The company seems very quick to shift blame to the USPS for future deliveries of RedPlum, when in fact all RedPlum mailers that have been placed in my mailbox have had my address on them, even after spending over 2 years trying to get them stopped.
Regards,

Dear Ms....
[redacted],
We are in receipt of your letter dated July 8, 2014 relaying a complaint from Ms [redacted] We removed Ms. [redacted]’s address of [redacted] from our list effective July 7, 2014. It takes approximately five to six weeks for this process to become fully effective as Valassis pre-prints its mailing labels in advance. Ms. [redacted]’s removal status will remain in effect for a period of five years and she will have to contact us again by July 6, 2019 if she wishes to renew her address removal for an additional five years.
If after the six week period Ms. [redacted] still receives our package she should contact the local Post Office and inform them that Valassis is no longer printing a piece for Ms. [redacted] and therefore the postal carrier should not put a piece in her box. The Post Office should only deliver to consumers that we have produced an address label for and as of August 30th Valassis will no longer be producing one for the address listed above. While Valassis is no longer printing a mail piece for this address, Valassis does not have control over the Post Office and how they deliver the mail. Mail delivery is solely controlled by the Post Office. Also, there are many companies other than Valassis that send out advertising circulars and catalogues for which we have no control over.
If the consumer has any additional questions they may feel free to contact me Toll-free at ###-###-#### and select option #3. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I don't know why Mr. [redacted] refers to me as a woman, and his letter where he states: "Please make the consumer aware that occasional postal delivery errors could result in receipt of RedPlum mailings intended for other mailboxes" is simply not true. I am still getting RedPlum mailers for my exact address, "[redacted]". Not #[redacted], Not [redacted] not anything else, but *MY* address. I keep receiving them every Thursday, and in fact, got one today. I also find it outrageous that I have to re-apply to not get their junk every 5 years, where I will be forced again to spend months trying to get them to stop mailing me. People should have to opt-in for their junk if they want it, not be forced to fight them to opt-out of it.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I have been told my address would be removed several times before to no avail. And I am not alone in this experience. Having requested that my address be removed one, three and five months ago I continue to receive their product. In fact, I received it just yesterday and used the paper to fire-up my BBQ.They should not be permitted to tresspass on a private property unless requested to deliver. If their policy is not changed I will have no alternative but to pursue sanctions and legal action.
All the best,

I require the business to permanently remove my name and information from their database. I have no need of their services and do not want to repeat this effort and wasted time again every five years for the unforeseen future.
