I have had all great experiences any time we have had technicians come out to our home. We needed to have an emergency replacement of our furnace a couple of years ago, and they worked with us to expedite the installation during the cold weather. Everyone has been very knowledgeable and worked efficiently as we have also had a routine tune up since the replacement. The technicians have been pleasant and courteous. The prices are very competitive as well.

Zenner & Ritter has serviced our AC, furnace, and backup generator for several years. They are professional and thorough, and we depend on them for reliable service.

This review covers all my recent calls and services with Zenner & Ritter from initial phone call for estimates received through installation and follow up.

All personnel were professional & courteous and after installation of both Air conditioning and generator at different times all areas were left cleaned up.

Zenner & Ritter was very fast, efficient, and neat when repairing an air conditioning system. The technicians were knowledgeable, neat, and polite. I would highly recommend Zenner & Ritter for your HVAC needs.

I have now had Zenner & Ritter install a whole-house generator, a tankless hot water heater, a new sump pump and backup system and in each case, after doing a lot of research on my own, I find that they provide excellent service and product for the cost of the product and installation. I have also taken advantage of their maintenance program on two of the items and have been extremely pleased with the thoroughness of their work. The technicians go out of their way to answer any questions you have, to me that is an indication of great customer service and knowledge of the products they sell.

In August of 2010 the homeowner contracted with our firm for the installation of a new
chimney liner and two-stage variable speed high efficiency furnace, thermostat control, carbon
monoxide system, etc. through a financing program. The homeowner indicated they were
receiving...

multiple proposals. Our contract reflects the new system would utilize the existing
ductwork. The variable speed blower motor in the furnace is capable of continuous operation
and is designed to help eliminate temperature stratification in the home.
In December of 2010 a proposal was submitted for additional ductwork. In January of 2013 a
written Comfort Agreement was offered for services requested: (a) central air conditioning; (b)
whole home humidifier; (c) duct cleaning; (d) new supply line to 2nd floor bedroom; (e) new
supply line to kitchen. The cost of each was itemized separately. None of that work scope was
contracted through our Company between that date and the most recent service visit.
Service at Issue
At the request of the homeowner our offices dispatched a technician to their home on
December 12,2013. The stated concern was that the furnace air filters were excessively dirty
and, upon replacement, quickly became dirty again. The conversation was reviewed and our
representative did advise of the applicable service fees in advance of the visit. The amount
referenced by the homeowner Is the standard the service call fee together with the applicable
State and County taxes.
After the visit the homeowners called and emailed to express their concerns regarding the
service fee. Again, this fee was stated In advance of the visit. Due to the outdoor weather
conditions is was a time of exceptionally high call volume. The homeowners preference was to
have the call completed sooner rather than fater. Accordingly, this appointment was set up as a
service visit, not a cleaning.
The technicians notes indicated that client wanted to receive additional information on duct
cleaning and ductwork. Due to the clients concerns we offered to deduct the amount of the
service call fee paid against the duct cleaning, installation of additional ducting or maintenance
on the heating system (every manufacturer suggests annual maintenance). Further, it was
agreed to honor the pricing quoted approximately 12 months prior. That offer will be
maintained through the resolution of the instant matter.

Zenner & Ritter Inc has always done an excellent job at our home. They were highly recommended by people at work when I needed a new furnace in 1986.
They have since installed a gas hot water heater for us, cleaned and serviced the furnace and have just installed a new furnace with central air. They are clean, efficient and always do it right the first time.
