Worldwide Vintage Autos sells over cars a year and is one of the top classic car dealers in the nation (about 4,classic cars sold in total)Even with this volume, we have 100% positive feedback on Ebay and VERY few Revdex.com complaints (Less than 0.1% of ALL transactions)Although we do our
very best to represent every inch and faults of our cars, we are NOT our consumers and, because of this, it is impossible to have the exact same expectations as ALL of our buyersAlthough we take pride in "over disclosing" our cars, it is possible that buyers don't have the same expectationsThis is why we do the following; i)Have an on site, full time, mechanic staff; ii)include over pictures of said vehicle and its known faults in our advertisements; iii)take and show a detailed video of said vehicle; and iv)encourage in person reviews and inspection
In regards to the vehicle referenced above, we are disappointed that buyer is not 100% satisfied with his purchase** *** came in person to our facility to buy this CamaroHe found a few things he was unhappy with and negotiated the price down even further from what he expected to pay when arrivingWe never heard another word from him for over a month until we saw an online complaintWe immediately reached out to *** *** to find out that he was disappointed that the parts he ordered did not fit the motor and had to pay a restocking feeWe offered to pay that restocking fee and he initially agreedWhen we ask him to sign a settlement document prior to sending a check he then stated he wanted a new motor or $He's completely unreasonable
He states that we said the motor has a specific amount of mileage which is absolutely not accurateWe did state that it was a Corvette motor because it has Corvette all over it and we were told by the seller that it wasUnfortunately we have no way to verify if it is or is not the Pontiac motor that he says it is

Specific language states "This Bronco is being sold knowing it needs front steering work, no wipers, and needing a clutch, etc, as all was negotiated down to a bottom price"We, along with our attorneys, are reviewing the concerns and will work with the consumer if any such items have merit and were misrepresented or misinformed on the listings and in the 100+ pictures and marketing video of such vehicle

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: they are being very unreasonable and uncaring about my problems with the carIve tried over and over again to deal with them but they feel there offer was reasonable, when it never even came close to what I thought was reasonableI never wanted to go this route, but I feel as if they just don't care about my problems
Sincerely,

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I did not state that the online advertisement stated a specific amount of mileage, however I did state I was told in person by *** *** the amount of mileage on the motor before it was placed in the CamaroI also had another person present with me at the time of the sale which can verify thisI am not concerned with the amount of mileage on the motorI am more concerned with the fact that it was a completely different motor than I was under the impression I was purchasingFortunately, there is a way to verify what car the motor came from as all motors are stamped with VINS that can be traced back to a cars originI have attached a photo from the engine showing it did not come from a Corvette engine which a mechanic or a basic google search can verifyFor ease of reading the derivative engine code is "***" signifying that it came out of a Pontiac
To make sure there is no communication I am not asking for a whole new motor, I am asking for the motor that was advertised with the car to be installed in itI was even willing to work with you and pay for the installation myself if you were able to source another motorAt this point I am only willing to return the car*** ***
We have worked with the client to resolve the matterAn agreement is being sentThanks
WWVA is willing to cover the clients request of "I would like ***/WWVA to reimburse me $for the diagnostic / repair work." Again, we are unable to cover this without a signed settlement formEverything in the agreement is factual and without this signed agreement there is noting that we can doWe hope to work with you and settle your requestThanksWWVA

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: WWVA arranged for the vehicle to be transported.WWVA contracted the transport and conducted the loading and final inspection. The hardtop would not have come off during transport id fastened correctly.WWVA is responsible for this damage and should accept responsibility for the damage. The vehicle remains without a top to prevent further damage from the weather.
Sincerely,
[redacted]
We work diligently to test drive, disclose all faults (Material and not material), and present all of our inventory in a correct manner. We have several on site mechanics that go through and test drive ALL of the vehicles prior to them being put up for sale. This Chevy Corvette in question went through the same processes above. We encourage inspections on ALL of our vehicles PRIOR to purchase (See exact advertising text below). [redacted] did NOT have the vehicle inspected and did NOT come out and see the vehicle prior to purchase. The vehicle was in excellent running condition and we are uncertain what the buyer may or may have not done since the vehicle was purchased almost 6 months ago (6/2016). We have helped compensate [redacted] for tires and we have also offered to repurchase the vehicle with a restocking fee as outlined in the buyers order. None of these have been acceptable. Please find a link to the original advertisement here:[redacted]Specific language from the listing:"Inspections are highly recommended. These inspections should be done in person before bidding or placing a deposit.""Due to our inventory size, we are unable to drive every vehicle for long distances. We also cannot guarantee that every gauge, light, option, function, etc., will work as it should. We do our best to inspect these vehicles in every detail, and note any imperfections in the advertisement.""We provide around 75 HD images, and an HD video, in every one of our listings. Very few companies offer this much detail. We spend significant time inspecting and disclosing detailed items on all of our vehicles; however, at the end of the day we are not you... we highly suggest that you come and inspect the vehicle. The information contained in this ad is solely for convenience. The description is an opinion only and should not be considered a complete description of any or all faults; it may not be relied upon nor taken as fact or otherwise a representation or warranty of any sort. Vehicles are sold AS-IS, WHERE-IS with all faults known/unknown and with no implied warranty."All of our vehicles are sold "AS-IS" with no warrany".
Dear Revdex.com,[redacted] and I have spoken on several occasions. He explained to me that he was frustrated that the parts he bought for the motor were incorrect because the motor was from a different year than originally thought. We agreed to send him $350 to compensate for the restocking fee that he was charged by the parts company. He said that would be just fine so I sent him a letter to review and sign. After that, [redacted] changed his tune and said that we needed to replace the motor. We are not willing to do that as the motor in the car runs great and he knew exactly what he was buying as he came in person, drove the car, inspected it and then decided to buy it. All of our classics are sold as-is with no warranty. In good faith we agreed to pay for most of his parts restocking fee.Worldwide Vintage Autos does our very best to describe the vehicles we sell with accuracy. The vehicles are of vintage nature and in most cases we have not done the restoration work. Therefore, we encourage inspections of all of our vehicles. [redacted] did come and inspect his car before purchase and knew that the sale was as-is.We would be willing to increase our offer to $500 to show good faith in this matter.Regards,[redacted]Sales Manager

I am rejecting this response because:WWVA sent an email with photos stating that the vehicle was being inspected prior to loading on the carrier. With proper inspection and preparation by WWVA the damage could have been prevented. This was not the fault of the Carrier. WWVA suggests allowing WWVA to handle the shipping.WWVA should uphold their contract to furnish and deliver an acceptable white hardtop for this 1972 Chevrolet Blazer OR arrange for the vehicle to be returned to WWVA and refund all monies.Thank you,[redacted]
Sincerely,
[redacted]
Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:first of all I have not found a rebuilt motor for less than 1500dollars and that does not include labor and why should I have to pay anything on the motor when you advertised it as a rebuilt 350 and that's what I payed for.second of all having the original motor in this truck does not add value to it because there is not a lot of original things on it like wheels, mirrors, exterior paint, bench seat, steering wheel etc.I am willing to resolve this matter if you give me 1800dollars refund to cover the motor cost and eat the labor
Sincerely,
[redacted]
The vehicle left in excellent working order with top secured as seen in the photos and outlined in the bill of lading. WWVA is NOT a shipping company. The contract was between Mr. [redacted] and [redacted]. Mr [redacted] has paid [redacted] directly. We are more than willing to assist with filing a damage claim with the shippers insurance if desired. All necessary documentation has been provided.

in total). We take pride in "over disclosing" our cars, it is possible that buyers don't have the same expectations. This is why we do the following; i). Have an on site, full time, mechanic staff; ii). include over 100 pictures of said vehicle and its known faults in our advertisements; iii). take and show a detailed video of said vehicle; and iv). encourage in vehicle inspection PRIOR to purchasing. In regards to this specific transaction, you came down to WWVA, looked over the truck in great detail and drove the truck prior to deciding to move forward with the purchase. As you are aware, all of our vehicles are sold “As-Is”, Where-Is” with all faults known/unknown and with no implied warranty as per the original advertisement listing and all of the legal [redacted] dealer documents you have signed. We are happy to provide an additional copy of these documents if you do not have them available to you. In addition, It has been 4 months since you purchased the vehicle and we are unaware how the vehicle has been treated, used, stored, etc. With all of this being said, WWVA prides itself on working with clients when things don't go as anticipated or they are unhappy with their purchase. This is why we have offered three solutions including 1. repurchasing the said vehicle; 2. consigning the said vehicle for you or 3. compensating you for some repairs. You have indicated that none of these are satisfactory. Unfortunately, there is nothing else you can do at this point in time.
