Complaint: [redacted] ToTo I am rejecting this response because: nevered showed to me that they cared about my problems with the carJust tried giving me hush money Sincerely, [redacted]
Thank you [redacted] for purchasing your classic car from WorldWide Vintage AutosWe are sincerely disappointed that you are not 100% satisfied with your purchaseWorldwide Vintage Autos sells over cars a year and is one of the top classic car dealers in the nation. We received an email from *** upset that it was not filled with gas but nothing else If there is an issue with the vehicle please contact your salesperson and we can discuss it.We take pride in "over disclosing" our cars, it is possible that buyers don't have the same expectationsThis is why we do the following; i)Have an on site, full time, mechanic staff; ii)include over pictures of said vehicle and its known faults in our advertisements; iii)take and show a detailed video of said vehicle; and iv)encourage in vehicle inspection PRIOR to purchasing. In regards to this specific transaction, you are aware, all of our vehicles are sold “As-Is”, Where-Is” with all faults known/unknown and with no implied warranty as per the original advertisement listing and all of the legal [redacted] dealer documents you have signedWe are happy to provide an additional copy of these documents if you do not have them available to you
Dear Revdex.com, [redacted] and I have spoken on several occasions He explained to me that he was frustrated that the parts he bought for the motor were incorrect because the motor was from a different year than originally thought We agreed to send him $to compensate for the restocking fee that he was charged by the parts company He said that would be just fine so I sent him a letter to review and sign After that, [redacted] changed his tune and said that we needed to replace the motor We are not willing to do that as the motor in the car runs great and he knew exactly what he was buying as he came in person, drove the car, inspected it and then decided to buy it All of our classics are sold with no warrantyIn good faith we agreed to pay for most of his parts restocking fee.Worldwide Vintage Autos does our very best to describe the vehicles we sell with accuracy The vehicles are of vintage nature and in most cases we have not done the restoration work Therefore, we encourage inspections of all of our vehicles [redacted] did come and inspect his car before purchase and knew that the sale was as-is.We would be willing to increase our offer to $to show good faith in this matter.Regards, [redacted] Sales Manager

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:WWVA sent an email with photos stating that the vehicle was being inspected prior to loading on the carrier. With proper inspection and preparation by WWVA the damage could have been prevented. This was not the fault of the Carrier WWVA suggests allowing WWVA to handle the shipping.WWVA should uphold their contract to furnish and deliver an acceptable white hardtop for this Chevrolet Blazer OR arrange for the vehicle to be returned to WWVA and refund all monies.Thank you, [redacted] Sincerely, [redacted]
[A default letter is provided here which indicates your acceptance of MediationIf you wish, you may update it before sending it.] Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] ,and find that Mediation is necessaryI would like to know the cost Regards, [redacted] ***
Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:first of all I have not found a rebuilt motor for less than 1500dollars and that does not include labor and why should I have to pay anything on the motor when you advertised it as a rebuilt and that's what I payed for.second of all having the original motor in this truck does not add value to it because there is not a lot of original things on it like wheels, mirrors, exterior paint, bench seat, steering wheel etc.I am willing to resolve this matter if you give me 1800dollars refund to cover the motor cost and eat the labor Sincerely, [redacted] ***

I am rejecting this response because: I purchase vintage cars monthly for buy sell and trade, and never had a transaction so deceptive as this, my concern is the lack of effort from the business to even try to reconcile the situation, which leads me to believe with so many complaints, this can not go on and continue to happen to others.
In response to the standard template reply from worldwide vintage auto, that they use for any negative complaint that makes it to Yelp, as only some do, (as you can see th template response as all the responses online are the same except for a few word changes, as you can see on this one with the word "negotiated" IDiffer t don't) minus the part of them addressing that steering and clutch was mentioned, but the other items including the blown motor being the biggest item, even though stated the mileage was miles on motor, "and it ran great" the truck didn't even runthen Changing the ad after complaining, ( we saved and printed ad) it is also that anyone has reached out to my self, or my attorneys who sent two letters both email, as well as certified, to both dealer and attorney, so again, no one has or tried to work with us or reconcile the very claims made in selling this vehicleThis has now moved to C.Oand I will keep everyone updated on the outcome of this eventMy advise is look deep into this dealer before a purchaseI have found several people in similar position on some message boards, we are now engaging them and will update the outcome
Sincerely,

WWVA and *** *** have come to an agreement on this issue and it has been resolved

I am rejecting this response because: The statements or rebuttal from World Wide vintage is not accuratetheir attorney has not responded to both email and certified letters to this issue from my attorney yes the vehicle was sold as is as most used cars or vintage cars are, that does not give World wide vintage auto the right to misrepresent vehicles in print, as well as online sale, and many detailed conversations with the salesmen ,to say the vehicle ran fine when it left is a complete statementthe radiator was torn to shreds, and the delivery person stated they "had to jump the car and it was smoking like crazy" when they loaded it, world wide vintage auto stated in the ad under what they call "full disclosure" that the wipers were missing, and the truck had no seat belts, or mirrorsupon further discussion with the salesman at my request I had asked him to drive it and give me his opinion, after all I was dealing with a expert named *** who stated he owns vintage cars and is an expert collector and doesn't need the money from this sale, "this job is my hobby for the love of cars" and only other thing he noticed was that the clutch was "sputtering " and that there was some steering issue, but a simple fix to tighten the steering box or repairing the box (common in these trucks) and his boss would negotiate this in price. The Major facts are they stated the car had miles on it, had full functioning 4xare complete statements the motor needs to be replaced, the drive shaft is missing from the truck! car experts over looked this? gears in the transmission do not work these are major, major issues that are thousands of dollars in repairs, not to mention a list of other obvious items that anyone would notice, not being able to get in and out of the car because there is not door guts or mechanism, you must crawl in through the tail gateand passenger door window is missing.so bottom line is this is what world wide vintage auto considers full disclosure ? blown motor, but stated miles on the motor, blown transmission, and thousands of dollars in other repairs left out of ad, many phone and text conversation from a "car expert" again to reiterate no one has reach out to me or my attorney for any sort of reconciliation, NO ONE has called or offered anything, I will continue to keep all posted.
Sincerely,

I am rejecting this response because: I do not believe the dealer fully disclosed all known problems with this vehicleIf, a mechanic did inspect this car that makes the ad complete fictionAny mechanic worth his salt would have seen these problems in some case deemed the car unsafe to drive.
