I purchased this travel plan while on vacation. They were very convincing. They state you can cancel within 3 days but this is only allowed by certified letter which they do not reveal to you at presentation. I have used this program once to rent a car and there was a hidden fee. I used it to book a motel for my recent vacation in case people we were traveling with didn’t have proper accommodations I tried to cancel the reservation over a month in advance and was told it was non refundable and if I cancelled it would be a 25.00 fee. Plus there was a hidden resort fee so it would have been cheaper for me to book this direct through the hotel. Also my other hotel that I booked through worldwide for same vacation cost me 501.00 which was supposed to be paid by the voucher they give you when you sign up. They again fail to mention you have to pay I advance and they may pay you back I guess I paid this fee over 2 months ago. When I call customer service to find out about my refund first of all you never have someone answer the phone they eventually call you back and it’s a different answer every time that payment is being processed, or you should have it next week already been processed last one I was told was you have to take the vacation first. Never mind that I could have used that money for my vacation. With this room I tried to cancel a month in advance because my father in law booked rooms for us at same hotel which I also paid travel ins for this trip just in case. This hotel was only 40 per night I found out when I got there but I was charged 501.00 for 2 nights. I feel like I have paid enough money to this company that hasn’t delivered on any of its promises. I want to cancel this contract but am concerned about ruining my credit
Aloha,
The member has stated that members can only cancel by certified letter. This is not true (please see attached). Per the notice each member receives in regards to cancellation, cancellation can be done one of 4 ways, all which are meant to increase ease of cancellation while also leaving a paper trail in order to corroborate any claims of cancellation.
Our program promises no hidden fees. If there was one, the fault lies with the service provider (the car company) and our customer service manager would love to hear from you directly in order to follow up with the rental company and have them refund something that they shouldn’t have charged you. She can be reached at [email protected].
All bookings have their own cancellation fees and, when you make the booking, you must acknowledge understanding of the cancellation fees associated with that booking before you can place the booking. The cancellation fee and inability to cancel should not have come as a surprise. Also, hotels and resorts do not charge resort fees in advance. This is not a hidden charge, this is something associated with all resorts and is typically referenced in the “details” section of a booking where the hotel provides details about the accommodations.
The $500 certificate you are referencing is a reimbursement. If you read the certificate, it states the terms of the reimbursement and all reimbursements are guaranteed.
Again, for more detailed assistance with your issues, you can reach out to the customer service manager at [email protected] she would be happy to sort out any mischarges and get you an update on the expected waiting time for your reimbursement.
Thank you.

I am rejecting this response because: world wide states that they offer services at a greatly reduced price, each time I have checked on this I have found there rates to be much higher. I have never in my life booked a hotel and not been able too cancel a month before the date. World wide can keep the money I have paid them I consider this a stupid tax on my part for trusting this company. I just want out of his contract immediately without destroying my credit. If I have to destroy my credit at this point I will. I do not feel that world wide provides what they say they do. I am no longer paying this
Sincerely
Aloha ***,
Please contact customer service management at the following email address with evidence of your claims. Management will be happy to escalate this on your behalf to the legal department and, if the evidence is found to support your claims, we would be happy to pull your contract and make the necessary adjustments.

If no misrepresentation is evident, your contract will remain active. Thank you!
The company states they have been in business since 2003 in their presentation. This is inaccurate , they have only been in business since 2016.
The company states on their website (wtemaui.com) and in their presentation they are accredited with an A+ rating by the Revdex.com. This is false the company is not accredited and has a B- rating
Aloha,
Worldwide Travel Experts is a sales and marketing company. We simply sell and market a product/services and the product/services that come with this purchase are operated by Saveonresorts.com.
Please look them up. They have been in business since 2003 and hold an A+ rating with the Revdex.com and are accredited. That is what people purchase when they come through our doors.
At the time of our purchase we received a certificate for $500US that could be redeemed when we used their services to book hotels or travel, filed a review online, etc. We completed the criteria, mailed in the certificate and we have heard nothing - literally - from them. I have called, written, spoken to the telephone agents who handle the reservations and finally, I am resorting to filing a complaint with you.
Aloha,
Please see the attachment which includes 3 pages. The first two are the condo cert and return address scanned of the member. The third is a scanned copy of the email sent to the member back when the condo cert was received, requesting that they submit a copy of the reservation as proof of purchase. All members are required to submit a copy of their reservation to confirm payment when submitting a condo cert. The email was not answered as far as we know.
In addition, the reason the member may have been informed it was in transit is because, by chance, another member by the same last name has recently also been reaching out with condo cert questions.
This has been sorted out, and we have manually looked up the customer bookings on our end to apply this reimbursement to one. A check has been submitted to accounting today and will be in the mail soon. Please reach out to [email protected] for further updates from a manager should you require them.

I am rejecting this response because:
The email address used by WTE is the backup email in the event that I am locked out of the account. They did not send it to the primary email address or to my email address which is the secondary address on the account. Hopefully the second part of the email is happening. As for the copy of the reservation, it has been sent three times! Given that it is a copy from their system, it seems redundant but I have attached it yet again for everyone's benefit.
Thank you for the assistance.
Sincerely
The prices they show you at the presentation IS NOT what you find on their site later. On a $1400 cruise we were only going to save $20 from the cruise company website. Lots of cruses to make up the $5500 we put in! SCAM!!!!
Aloha Mr.,
There seems to have been a miscommunication and, if you get to the check out screen on a cruise booking, you will understand more thoroughly. Cruise lines do NOT sell wholesale offers to third parties so Worldwide Travel Experts offers a significant savings reimbursement check at the end of the booking to provide our members with the significant savings that we promise when you purchase.
This is also NOT TRUE! The price for the cruise ON THE PRINCESS CRUISE LINE WEB SITE was the exact same price as World Wide Travel experts.
The price was exactly 1,441.56. The REBATE check you refer to is for $31,31!!!!!!!
Is that the "significant savings reimbursement" you wright about! NOT "SIGNIFICANT" at all!!!!!
I would need to go on 191 cruises to get back the $6000 your company SCAMMED me out of! Ron in the presentation ( and when I talked to him) TOLD me and SHOWED me pricing that had huge savings. He said, " we can't save you much on air, hotels, rental cars and those other thing, very little. Where we shine is on cruises and weekly stays"
$31.31 on $1400 is "shining"! Not to mention the $200 a year to save pennies.
It is NOT a "misunderstanding" as you say, it is SCAM!
Worldwide travel experts stated that they guarantee the prices of vacations they offer on their member only access website are chipper than other vacation booking sites that are available for free to anyone. After extensive research I found their prices are at the same or even higher rate than Free access websites. For example same dates identical cruise sold by carnival cruise lines is the same price as worldwide travel experts site offers. Some vacations were cheaper on worldwide travel experts club site, but when I clicked on “book” a window popped up saying that a company’s wholesale price just went up, and it’s almost double of advertised price now. However they continued advertising same deal at cheaper price that you wouldn’t be able to get. When I tried to cancel the purchase (3 days) 1/17/19 nobody in the company answered the phone including the agents who provided me with their contact numbers. I was departing on 1/17/19 (the day I attempted to cancel) and stopped at the office to cancel in person but at the time I stopped by on the way to the airport nobody was there. I couldn’t spend more time trying to find a scanner or a post office as I needed to be at the airport at 10am. I didn’t get access to scanner in time and was worried about losing my hard earned money so much - I got excruciating migraine that had disabled me for many hours during and after the flight. I emailed their member service and used “chat” on their website, but nobody could help me. I am very dissatisfied with the product and with the customer care - The service was falsely advertised and I was mislead to believe that the service was well worth the money. I finally got hold of the agents on the January 19th and asked for help. I’m waiting for their manager to reply to my email. I will update this when I get an answer. If anyone is in the same situation please contact me.
I was communicating with the business and they agreed to give me a full refund.I would like to withdraw the complaint. Please let me know what do I need to do to withdraw.
I went into the office on January 14, 2019 to cancel a purchase made on January 12, 2019. This was in compliance with the terms did cancellation given by the company. I requested a receipt, but the manager Ron N, was only willing to give me a copy of my own signed notice. He did Initial and date the notice.
I did not feel the paperwork for the refund was sufficient in the event of a disputed so I also sent a notice of Cancellation by registered mail the same day.
On the Notice of Cancellation an email address was given, so I decided to send them an email with the Notice of Cancellation so I could get a better written proof of Cancellation. That email was returned as undeliverable with no such address. This is what prompted the complaint to the Revdex.com. I wanted to have a verifiable proof that I sent a Notice of Cancellation to Work wide Travel Experts by January 15, 2019.
This company showed me Revdex.com reports showing an A+ rating, at the time I purchased the vacation travel service for $3800 by credit card. It turns out, when I looked online after the purchase, that the company has a B rating with multiple serious complaints about refund policies. Thus, I am contacting my credit card company with a dispute and the Revdex.com to have undisputable verification that I made every reasonable effort to candle the purchase within three business days and should receive complete refund of the $3800 within 10 days.
Aloha,
If the purchase was cancelled as you mentioned it was within the allotted period, we apologize that manager Ron N did not have the means to provide significant paperwork stating the cancellation was submitted but there is absolutely no reason it shouldn't be and especially no reason to escalate this to a complaint with the Revdex.com.
Ron is a sales agent and typically does not have access to that kind of paperwork. In the meantime, we have already followed up with administration and confirmed that your cancellation was processed fairly as we process all cancellations. Please note that there is a 10-business day period (depending on your financial institution) until the funds are returned to your account.
In regards to the Revdex.com rating issue you mentioned, our sales office is a marketing company for the product which you purchased. That product is a software travel club company called *** and the product and their services are, in fact, rated A+ with the Revdex.com.
We are sorry to see you go and would have loved to show you the great benefits of this program but we wish you well! In addition, if you could please have this upsetting complaint removed about our company, everyone here at Worldwide Travel Experts would sincerely appreciate it.
Mahalo!

I am rejecting this response because:there is no verification that a refund is in progress. This is not sufficient to close the dispute. I must have received notice from my credit card company that the refund is in progress. See attached file for the written communications for this transaction. ***Attachments redacted by Revdex.com staf*
This type of deceptive language ( The response states that "If the purchase was cancelled .. . ") is consistent with the Worldwide Travel Representative's fraudulent presentation of a Revdex.com rating for a company that is not financially connected to it, which is a major factor in what led to to the complaint in the first place. They should simply state that the refund has been issued. That will close the case.
Sincerely
Overall, it can be a decent membership, but it will take years to earn back your initial membership fee/investment.
Pros: really decent deals on hotels - we have probably booked 5-10 stays in 18 months
Cons: 1) Confusing or deceitful messaging rental cars (says pricing includes taxes and fees, but you need to click the link at the bottom of the booking page that takes you to another screen to read that any airport pickups, which are 90% of your travel, may cost up to 40% more in taxes and fees).
2) Cruise pricing is almost always worse than discount cruise sites
3) Kind of annoying when they keep calling trying to get you to pay your annual fees - they want you to prepay for 5 years, etc.
4) Still testing out the guest feature - I sent a link to my mom, but she has not gotten it to work and says the deals don't look that good. Not sure if the guests get the same website. We'll see.
Thanks for your feedback Mr. Trujillo, we will be sure this gets to the right departments and look forward to improving on your overall experience down the road. Mahalo!
I recently stayed in a *** in Washington DC that I booked through Worldwide Travel Experts and was very happy overall. The site saved me $100 and it was probably the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in. The booking was easy and I had no problems checking in.
Mahalo! Glad to hear you had a good experience.
I was given a guest pass from a family member. I never received a response to my travel request. Then my account was locked and I had to redo my password. Then I was locked out from another travel request because I had a pending request. I called and got the account unlocked and asked to have my first request cancelled so I could make a second. When I went back into the site I was still locked out. Online chat help couldn't fix it and forwarded me to the call number to fix it. "You can only make one request". I'm done. This is too painful with too many roadblocks to making a simple request.
We have been members with the worldwide travel experts for about two years now and have taken advantage of about 6/7 stays at separate hotels, resorts, and a cruise, the information provided was never misleading and the money we saved was amazing! They post accurate photos and provide great deals. We love the travel experts!!!! The only downfall is the overall membership is quite pricey and some of the written descriptions of the rooms are though to interpret but other than that no complaints. :) We look forward to booking our next year vacations soon!
Thank you for your feedback!
Hi, We haven't had much of a chance to use this yet. Just had an overnight Hotel rental and it saved me about $20.00 on booking. Have a rental car booked for 2 days at end of the month. Booking for both were quick and simple. Also have a cruise reservation booked for January. Looking forward to this money saved was great and the rewards are fantastic. I have always had great customer service when I have had to call and my questions were answered. Thank You
Love it so far. Prices are amazing!
Thank you for your feedback!
This business has a good concept, but a poor execution of it. First off, it doesn't follow through with its purpose: it isn't always cheaper. In fact, the vast majority of the time it is not, and you need to read the fine print of the 110% guarantee. Second, the website is poorly maintained. The listings are often missing information, or have conflicting information. If you try to talk to the concierge about it, they haven't a clue and are unable to help. I did have a positive experience with their emergency help line, when our rental car fee literally doubled when we got to the place. They were able to sort out some of the extra fees, but we have to submit a claim to get the rest of the supposedly covered expenses back. That being said, you can find fantastic deals if you go to certain places. I searched and found some excellent resorts at less than half price. If you go to popular destinations at nice resorts, you can definitely find a great deal. At this point in time I do not regret the purchase, and I think for certain people it is an excellent investment, but for others not so much.
I bookes last minute for 3 nights stay in Pittsburgh. There were plenty of widely recognized hotels to choose in the downtown core at a 30-40% discounted rate per night when compared to other online booking sites. Check in was a breeze, and the service at the hotel is great so far. I am happy with the price and the service received from having a membership. Hope to use more vacations deals in the future.
Thank you for your feedback, we are happy to hear that you enjoyed the value of your membership.
At the end of July my fiance and I signed up for what we thought atvrhe tome was a great deal, this company offered unlimited weekly stays anywhere in the world for under 599.00 no matter where we went. This is not the case I have searched for places in Puerto Rico , Maui where we frequent and various other destinations to check the validity of thier offer. I have been trying to cancel and keep on getting a run around. This company is a scam and I reccomend no one believe a word they have to say. This has been a nightmare for my fiance and I. Our hard earned money is on the line with a company who tells lies. I should have known better than to trust them but they sold a product we were excited about until we realized they were all lies. Please if there is anything that can be done I can use some help canceling this contract with this scam of a company.
Aloha,
The above mentioned member attended our showroom on June 30th, 2018. She watched a sales presentation and decided to purchase a 10-year program with the intent of traveling more with her family.
Upon deciding to purchase post-presentation, she was guided to an office to fill out paperwork with her sales representative. During the contract signing in the office, the sales representative goes through all documentation clearly and thoroughly. Including the cancellation statement which states that they have 3 days to cancel post-signing and which also must be initially confirming understanding. We can produce evidence of this paperwork if need be at any time.
We do offer unlimited weekly stays! That is very true and the deals are very real. We do not promise every single one available in our inventory will be under $599.00 USD though. Our weekly stays range from $150.00 per week to $1500.00 per week and this depends on location, star rating of the property, number of bedrooms etc. We also monitor security feeds regularly to ensure our presenters and sales representatives make this clear.
The member has been trying to cancel outside of the recision period and is unable to at this time. Both our customer service manager, office manager, and numerous reservations agents have sent her quotes for great prices on properties in multiple locations. Our company is not a scam and we believe we have proven that to her and can continue to prove it with continuing examples of price comparisons etc.
We have not lied at any point in this members’ experience. Please see attached, for example, the email conversation between our customer service manager and the member. She has been attempting to assist them and they refuse service or do not answer.
Thank you

Hello this will be brief I have been looking up stay in puretorico for my family for next year and the fees are insane. I save more booking through air b and b I want to cancel this membership how do I go about doing so?? This is a scam, they said at the presentation that they have been in business for 13 years and that they are accredited by the Revdex.com which is not true. I want out do I have to report this somehow? Please help what do I do?
Aloha,
We will be reaching out shortly to assist. Please note that we have taken a look at your account and requests and are confused as to the issue though. The quote request your received for *** put you into a 3 bedroom house for 5 people, great location, for less than $500. That sounds like an amazing deal to us, and we currently see no other activity on your account.
Regardless, we will reach out and assist. Mahalo
No that is not the case to book a studio for two at the 700.00 and the fees are 84.00? I don't know where you are getting your information but it is not from your site.
Worldwide Travel Experts has already saved me over $1000! The discounts we received on activities, such as the helicopter tour from Maui, the Dinner Cruise, and the Luau were awesome! But it didn't end there! We took a week vacation in Chicago, and got a discount of over $500 on the room by booking through Worldwide Travel Experts! The discounts are real! And I've also already received my $500 rebate check in the mail for booking in the first year! And it cleared the bank, so this is legit! I'm very pleased.
Thank you for your feedback and we are glad to hear you are experiencing the benefits of being a member. We look forward to serving you further and seeing more great savings in your pocket! Mahalo.
We just came back from a quick getaway to Las Vegas. We stayed at the ***t.We were able to book, (last minute mind you). We got the best price for the 3 nights. We have joined Worldwide travel in May. My husband has been checking different places we would like to go. So far Worldwide Travel has met our expectations. And with the price match, and refund of the difference, how can you go wrong.
Thanks for sharing your experience and we are thrilled that you are taking full advantage of all that the program has to offer! Mahalo.
We have used Worldwide travel on several occasions and have had no problems at all. We are planning a trip to *** this December and will be using their services for the trip. Piece of cake and Piece of mind.
Thanks for your feedback! Glad to hear the program is working as it is meant to for you and your family.
My husband and I purchased a package while on vacation in Maui. We were actually tricked into going to meeting and were not informed that we were obligated to go until after we purchased some activities at a discounted rate. In the informational meeting we were told our credit would not be run and that there were plenty of deals within driving distance of where we live. This was not the case, my credit was run without my permission. The bank which took over the balance of the package owed is awful to deal with, it charges money for an online and phone payment, has returned my check and tried to charge me a late fee because someone cut it in half while opening and said it was damaged in the mail when clearly it was not. The deals are not deals and you have to pay a yearly fee to access the website on top of a monthly fee. We have four children, so to pay for plane tickets would be more than most vacations in total would cost so driving distance is needed but there is not many deals within driving distance as we were told and the site has ended up being useless. I have found *** and *** deals that are cheaper and more convenient. We also received a gift certificate when we signed up and I had some questions regarding use and could not get a hold of anyone to answer my questions so it went unused. This is an awful money making scheme. Do not use. I live in Minnesota and the only deal is for breezy point and does not even include Duluth. Useless and awful and do not buy!
