May 10, To Whom It May Concern: I have reviewed the information provided by Mr*** and appreciate the opportunity to respond. In his complaint, Mr*** states that the term of his contract ended on November 25, 2016, and that he made his final payment and requested cancellation but that Vivint advised him he extended his contract term and would not cancel his Agreement Mr*** does not recall renewing his Agreement term, and he desires cancellation of his Agreement without penalty At this time, to assist Mr*** Vivint will reduce his monthly services fee by 50% for the remainder of the Agreement term This will also reduce the total buyout amount by 50%, should Mr*** wish to pay off and cancel his Agreement.Vivint’s records indicate that Mrand Ms*** signed a Purchase and Services Agreement and also participated in a telephonic Pre-Installation Survey upon installation of their Vivint system, representing that they agreed to an initial term of sixty (60) months and a monthly services fee of $68.99, plus applicable taxes, during that termOn February 3, 2015, Mr*** deferred his payments for three (3) months due to financial difficulties, and those months were added to the end of his initial term The end date of Mr***’s Agreement term is August 25, 2018. I am rejecting this response because:You are failing to speak to my paperwork I provided regarding the original letter of my finished contract date of April you state that my contract ends in October and I have an email that your system says it is April In this way, I find I have lost complete respect for your business practices and am led to belive that you operate as a business attempting to abuse your power over your clients in an effort to squeeze more money out of them I agree that the system, I suppose, should have been tested regularly and reports sent, but I urge you to clean up your act regarding that as well as the avaerage working professional has no time to ensure they’re security system is working properly on a monthly basis...it should just work, and the company should be responsible for knowing when it does not I accept termination of my account immediately without penalty but I suggest you do the hard work of instilling more solid morals and values in your business practices.please answer to me where you get the October end date fromDid you review the photos of my contract end date from my original paperwork? If this must go to civil court regarding your business practices in falsifying documentation in your system then I will

A representative from Vivint has recently attempted to contact Mr*** in an effort to resolve these concerns At this time, Vivint has requested documentation from Mr*** confirming his move into this facilityMr*** has been provided with the representative’s contact information, and once the document has been received Vivint will review the account for possible cancellation. I am rejecting this response because:1) I have not received documentation that the account is closed.2) The company had the wrong phone numbers on file for months and it would have been impossible for any member of my family to get monitoring alerts or phone calls (e.g., when doors were opened with the alarm system on) as they would have been sent to old phone numbers.3) The video camers have indeed not worked for months

For the record, I did not learn that the holes were not needed. Had the technician installed the original system that was discussed then the holes would have been utilized. That was the only comment that I wanted to add.

I am rejecting this response because:I have an email from the Revdex.com in which they informed me that Vivint had not responded to my complaint furthermore I never received any information from Vivint concerning the payment they supposedly put back in my accountI still have the fax I sent and what was blacked out was personal information that the company representative told me to black out but there was clearly an arrow pointing to the payment that was taken out of our account in January of Vivint has never resolved or tried to resolve this issue with me or my spouseHow could I miss a payment that was set up for auto paymentVivint has never taken any responsibility in this matterThey caused the problem and refuse to fix itI will only accept the terms I put in my initial complaint

I am rejecting this response because:I am aware that I signed the System Purchase & Services Agreement on 4/13/17, however, in this agreement it allows for cancellation with no penalty if cancelled within business days I called Vivint about the price discrepancy the next day on 4/14/and expressed my desire to cancel, so this falls within the grace period to cancel I was told several times by different representatives that this recorded phone call would be pulled, and if in fact I did request to cancel, that this request would be honored I have since followed up several times via email and phone calls, and each time have been told that the representative would follow up with the matter and return my phone call once they had heard the recording. If Vivint had followed up to my initial phone call and request to cancel on 4/14/17, I would not be in this position nowIt is unfair business practice to continually tell a customer that you will get back to them on a matter just to extend their complaint past the grace period to cancel services I would like to also highlight that I have contracts with Vivint and have no complaints with the initial contract and have referred the services to friends and family I am only requesting to cancel the second contract as I requested to do so within the 3-day grace period.

In the response from the business they state:"On December 19, 2014, Ms*** contacted Vivint to inquire about what the minimum payment would be to keep the account from being turned over to collectionsThe representative informed Ms*** that the amount that she needed to pay $166.66; however, Ms*** paid a partial amountVivint’s records indicate that Ms*** did not call back to pay the remainder of the amount.As such, the account was cancelled for non-payment on January 30, 2015, and was sold to an outside collections agency."I do not understand why the amount that is now owed is over $If I paid a partial amount on December 19, 2014, what amount did I pay and what amount was remaining? Shouldn't the amount that the collection agency is requesting simply be the remaining portion after what ever partial payment was made? Sincerely,
