Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
I have told them however, their practices are unacceptable. the 4 month delay in processing the order, the taking of money immediately, the unresponsiveness of customer service I will not be using them again, nor will I recommend them to anyone else. They need to revamp their organization.
Regards,

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is unsatisfactory to me, due to the lack of acknowledgement that they were negligent in responding to me previously. However, I did receive the item ordered yesterday after a total 14 weeks waiting with no response or returned phone calls. I would not recommend this company to anyone. The item received had a broken board on the lid but I am not about to try to send it back. That's all, I'm finished with Tidewater Workshop.
Regards,
[redacted]

I placed a order for garden walkway and anchors with Tidewater Workshop on 11/2/17. My cc was charged in full on 11/3/17. Today is 2/10/18 and I still have not received my order after calling 3 different times and each time I’m told there was a delay and it will ship next week, obviously next week never comes. I told them today if it does not ship by next week, I want a full refund. She just said yes ma’am I will tell them...never again will I order from this company!
Review: on 6/10/15 I called twice to tide water. sent this email: my swing 's back cracked and broke after normal use. what recourse do I have? I used twice a week this spring. My 1 yr old grand daughter and I swing on it . I have two other benches from you with no problems, but this swing broke on it's back with swing normal use. what if I had been swinging with my grandchild when it broke? Very Very Very disappointed. only had since late October. on june 30th I sent this: Good Morning [redacted].
I have not heard any thing since our last phone call on June 10th. How is the replacement part for swing going? I also have another question. Is there a better back of the swing that or a way to reinforce it so this does not happen again?
thank you [redacted]
was told to send email with pictures. which I did that day. . and called, I was told it takes 6-8 weeks to replace. I have still heard nothing! I have just sent email stating I was complaining about lack of concern for consumer. please help facilitate this complaint. thank youDesired Settlement: soon before winter comes and I can not use the swing

Review: I ordered a wooden bench in June of 2012 and was told it would take 6-8 weeks for delivery. My credit card was charged on June 14,2012 for $93.00 ($75 plus shipping). After several e-mails through the winter with promises that it would be taken care of, still no bench. Since May 2013 I have called 5 times. The first call I spoke to a woman named [redacted] who said that my bench was being shipped the following Friday, which would have beenMay 24th. Still no bench. I have called 4 times since then, gotten a machine, left a message, but have not gotten a call back.Desired Settlement: I just want to cancel my order and get my money back!

Review: In early December 2012, I ordered 2 benches from Tidewater as Christmas gifts. One was an online order (credit card), and one was a print order (check). My credit card was charged within a week, and my check was likewise cashed. The benches, however, were not delivered. I started calling their phone number this spring to get either the benches shipped or a refund, but I could only reach their voice mail system, no human. I've left countless messages, but no one has returned my calls. I have also contacted them by email, with the same lack of response.Desired Settlement: The desired outcome is simple. Ship the 2 benches that I ordered and paid for. How hard can it be to pull 2 boxes off a shelf in your warehouse and ship them out? It's supposedly all they do; that's their business.

Review: I ordered a [redacted] bench on 6/26/13. 1st called to verify on 8/19/13 & was promised it would ship next week, which proved to be false. Later calls on 9/6/13, 9/25/13,10/10/13 got the same response as to ship the following week, STILL no shipment!! Also sent E-Mail to their customer Service, but no response. Also called on 10/11/13 & on 10/15/13 I cancelled the order (# [redacted]. All times I talked to someone named [redacted]. My credit card was charged on 7/9/13, which by their customer service website note from the CEO, would not be charged to until the product shipped. They were supposed to credit my credit card the $ 127.00 I charged after talking to [redacted] on 10/15/13. The monthly statement for October, which came in early Nov., showed no such credit.Desired Settlement: I believe the business is in serious trouble and I would never do business with them again. I attempted to contact my credit card company as to what they could do, but it was beyond 60 days.. I hope you can HELP!!!

Review: Tidewater advertised their 4' benches in a mail-out as being on sale for $50. I placed an order for 2 benches in January of 2013. I have called many times, and been told that "the order would go out in a couple more weeks". I have notes from calling in Feb, March, April & May. I started calling again in July and can not get the people to answer the phone or return a message, so I have started emailing them. I get an auto response but nothing else. I just want the benches to be sent to me.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive my order at the price advertised

Regards,
Review: I ordered merchandise from this company in early April of 2012 (a bench and a planter box, plus shipping charges) for a total of $114.00 on order number 291135.
They estimated that shipping would be 6-8 weeks from the time of order, which was okay at the time. They also charged my credit card at the time of order, although their website has the following policy: "Please note that we only bill your order after the order has been shipped. If you believe your order has been billed and your order not yet shipped, PLEASE call us M-F 9-4 EDT."
I called them numerous times last year to be told "Your order is shipping next week." When "next week" arrived and went, I would call again and get the same spiel.
I finally gave up and cancelled the order on 3/8/2013, and was told I would have a refund after the "Finance Department" received and reviewed the cancellation.
I called again yesterday (8/19/13) and received the same line about the "Finance Department's" responsibility. I really doubt the "Finance Department" exists, so I am filing this complaint.
This company gives small, legitmate, online businesses a bad name and contributes to the difficulty in making sales if you aren't the online arm of a big box store or Amazon.com.Desired Settlement: I want my $114.00 back. Either as a refund to my credit card or via money order. I wouldn't trust a check from these people not to bounce and cost me even more money.
Review: I ordered 2 benches from Tidewater, my credit card was charged for 188.00 I never received the goods and have called them and written many times, but with no response. The order was placed on 4/23/2013Desired Settlement: I will like a refund on my credit card or a check mailed to me.

Review: On December 30, 2013 I ordered a bench and table from Tidewater Workshop. My credit card was charged for this purchase on the date of the order. As of today, April 9, 2014, I have yet to receive my order. I called in mid February and mid March and spoke with a representative and was told both times that my order would ship out the end of that particular week. Still no bench or table. I tried to call again this morning during regular business hours but was routed to leave a voice message. I've tried to be patient with this company since I've done business with them many years ago and had no difficulties. Don't know what's going on but if they cannot deliver on their promises they need to shut their doors. Very frustrating.Desired Settlement: Just want the bench and table. If they can't deliver, I want my money refunded.

Review: I ordered furniture and stain from Tidewater workshop on May 3 2014. My credit card was billed May 7 2014. for $350. No product has arrived. I have called numerous times (50+) and have received 3 return calls on voicemail only, that "the product is scheduled for delivery next week". It's now 4 months later. Per their policy, I was not to be billed until the furniture was shipped. I have previously bought this furniture and not had these problems in the past. this company should be shut down by the number of complaints just on the NJ Revdex.com alone!!Desired Settlement: I want the 2 [redacted] Adirondack chairs, the 2 [redacted] ottomans, and the can of weathered grey stain I paid for to be shipped immediately!!

Review: I ordered a $75 bench online from Tidewater Workshop on 4/18/2014, order number [redacted]. My credit card was charged on 4/21/2014. But I did not receive the bench. I finally called Tidewater Workshop, but I did not note the exact date. I believe this was in late July. They returned my call a week or two later, and promised delivery of the bench the following week. I still have not received the bench.Desired Settlement: Delivery of order as soon as possible or a refund.

Review: Order for merchandise placed on 1/14/14. Inquired by email once with no response from merchant. Spoke twice to merchant in [redacted] and [redacted] Was told they are running behind.
Customer Service has limited hours and can't be reached at night or weekends. Was charged for merchandise on 1/20/14.
I want the merchandise but was advised that it was unknown when I would receive. Three and one half months is too long.Desired Settlement: Immediate delivery of merchandise I paid for in January.

Review: On December 14, 2013 I ordered a 4 foot classic bench from Tidewater Workshop for $50.00 plus $18.00 shipping for a total of $68.00, order number [redacted] My credit card was charged on December 16, 2013. After hearing nothing from the company I contacted them by telephone in January 2014 and spoke with a female. She assured me the bench was due to be shipped on January 20, 2014. After sending several emails with no response I called again on March 28, 2014 and again some with the same female. She apologized and stated she would check with the shipping department. Aft coming back on the line she stated the bench would be shipped on Monday March 31, 2014 or on Tuesday April 1, 2014. As of this date, April 14, 2014 I still have not received the bench nor have I heard from the company.Desired Settlement: Either delivery of the product within a week or a total refund of my money
