Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The items I sent were not damaged in any way. They have not sent any emails to notify me about the books. I have no way of knowing what was done with the books. They claimed that they would send me the original email from July 24th and my original order which showed nine books that the said I was supposed to send. Why has the date changed on when they were received? This company is scamming people. Sincerely, [redacted] ***
Apologies that you are unsatisfied with your transaction Textbookrecycling.com does not Rent textbooks and therefore we have no way of sending you a different copy of the item you sent us All of the packaging from your original order plus your buyback label is kept with your book until the items have been processed to prevent any errors on our part You were not paid for your loose leaf edition title because not all pages of this title were received Unfortunately we are only able to process the items we receive and the item you sent us was damaged We do not issue photographs As a customer courtesy we offered to send the item back to you once return shipping funds were distributed and did so accordinglyThank you,
Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The business received all this merchandise And if they claim that they didn't, they need to file insurance claims and pay me out I shipped the books using Pre-Paid Labels provided by THEIR business They have provided no proof of payment on ANY of these books and no proof that there was anything wrong with any of the books They owe me money, they've been coming up with lame excuses like this for months Sincerely, [redacted]
Apologies As we did receive clothes in the box with your label attached to it- our processors did not release payment- as we received no books in your order Upon speaking to our General Manager, she has asked that we release of the original $90.95- as we will be filing a claim with the delivery company for the missing items You should see your paypal payment by the end of the day tomorrow We appreciate your patience Thank you
Per our terms and conditions agreed to by every customer, we are unable to release funds for damaged books The item you are referring to was one of books we received in poor condition At your request, we did return the item to you, as the condition of this item did not meet terms Thank you, Customer Service
Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: Their claims that I had water damage are false! That book never left the confines of my householdThere was absolutely no water damage and that book was worth at least $70. The email that was sent states they processed my booksIt even list the dollar amount they are supposed to payIt was a deceiving email that does not clearly outline the intent to not accept the book. It seems a lot of people are complaining about the same thing from this companyI believe Textbook Recycling is taking peoples possessions and keeping them for their profitThere are too many complaints of the same nature. I've sold many books in my past and this is the first time my book has EVER been had any claims of any damageI don't write in my books, and my books are always coveredYour claims that my book was water damaged are completely false! That book is in perfect conditionI would like Textbook Recycling to provide proof that my book was damagedIf not possible, you need to honor your quote and quite deceiving people. I am one of the most honest people you could ever meet and would not go through the process of filing a claim with the Revdex.com If I was not adamant in my claims of the condition of my bookYour email was not clear and led me to believe that my book was being processed for my paymentSincerely,*** ***

Good Afternoon,When we received your item it had water damage There was no evidence that the package has been damaged in transit, therefore according to terms and conditions we are unable to release payment for damaged books We offer the customer courtesy of returning the book once
return shipping has been paid, as we already have paid to have this damaged book delivered to our facility Customers have hours to submit $per book to cover the return costs, if this is not done the item is recycled. Thank you, Customer ServiceTextbookrecycling.com
Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: I sent my books out on the 9th of September well within the three days grace period the books were in brand new condition absolutely no water damageI want the full payment of for the booksI feel they have misrepresented them selves and I feel if there was any damage to my books it was caused by them trying to reduce their cost.Sincerely,*** ***
According to Terms and Condition, necessary for all customers to agree to on our site, items must be received in good condition with no water damage to receive payment In this case, we did not receive books in good condition and did give the customer the opportunity to have them returned
within hours All customers are asked to cover return shipping as we have already paid shipping charges to have the book delivered to us When we get damaged books, we will not resell them, as they are of no value to us

There are issues:I am rejecting this response because:As of today's date, they are posting that they are rated as A+ on the Revdex.com website I don't know if this is because Revdex.com doesn't care or if textbookrecycling is fraudulently using the Revdex.com "A+" logo They are watering down the integrity of Revdex.com This company never said in their user agreement they would send my books to a third party to verify validity of booksI have traded these books into Amazon.com, half.com and several other book trade companies and I have no trouble with them Textbookrecycling is commiting fraud It is reasonable and customary in a business that when books have a limited shelf life (college books are outdated frequently and degrade in price quickly) Keeping a book for more than days is unfair and unreasonable Not good for an "Accredited Revdex.com business" I would like to be paid as per our contract
Sincerely,

The books were tendered at a FedEx location days after the quote had been generatedAs per our terms and conditions quotes are valid for days and must be tendered at a FedEx location in those days. After that are subject to repricing based on current market pricesThe customer was
informed of the repricing of her books when they arrived at our facility on Feb29thWe then had subsequent correspondence with the customer explaining our policy, the repricing and providing options if she chose to have the books returnedIn the end we paid the customer the repriced value of the books which was $The original quote value was $We will pay the customer the remaining $
Our terms and conditions do speak to receiving damaged books We are only able to process the items in the condition they are received in Returning books is a customer courtesy that not all book companies provide
I believe the customer is somewhat confused by what 'remaining balance' means as referenced in the last responseThe remaining balance has been paid and the customer has the full amount of the original quote now despite us receiving water damaged books contrary to our terms and conditions
