My normal telehealth is down so I tried Tela doc. I'm 61 and have dealt with colds escalating in my lungs my entire life. when I can't clear it over the counter I'm normally then treated with steroids and antibiotics. She wanted to give me a nose spray and cough medicine which I already have and said use my inhaler which I never have to use. I explained that its 8 days getting worse not better and how I am normally treated she would not treat me with what I know after 61 years how this needs to be cleared up. My 18 year an 38 year old are the same. I will never use them again, I am not just wanting antibiotics, I am wanting what is used to treat me yearly when this happens

Scheduled an appointment, received an email that said my doctor would contact me by email at the scheduled time (presumably with a link to video chat). Doctor didn't email/show up. I received a separate email from Teladoc with a link that wouldn't load. Overall, very disorganized. I'm not comfortable using this company for anything health-related; there were too many points of connection that they completely fumbled.

Made an appointment. Waited for 4 hours at this point and still no Dr. We called while waiting for someone on the app and the automated system hung up on us
I'd rather go to my actual Dr. And chance catching Corona, than let these people make money.

Waited for 2.5 hours for a call. Finally rescheduled and have waited another 2 hours the next day. I no longer think this is a legitimate service and will take this to my employer to have it removed as a healthcare option. Absolutely ridiculous service support. Even when I called I i was told I would be expedited...no call.

Called to ask if I could use Teladoc for mental/behavioral health prescription refills and was told that I could make an appointment and if the Dr is unable to provide services due to mental/behavioral health issue where I would need to be seen in office then I would not be charged for the visit since no services could be provided. I was not told to make appointment online for a behavioral health visit but was told to confirm that I wanted to proceed with the general health appointment. So I signed up for (what I thought was) mental health/behavioral health service and had an alleged doctor call soon after. She listened to what I was asking for (actually she just confirmed that I was looking to speak with someone about mental/behavioral health medication) and said that she was not the correct type of doctor and that the appointment was put in incorrectly and needed to go to a behavioral health dr. She said a behavioral health doctor was going to call me within 24 hours and then nobody called me. I was not told to go to the Dr for my prescription request and I was not told that Teladoc could not service my type of request.

They refuse to refund my money as they call it "services rendered." I called them back to review the call where I was told I would not be charged for the $45 copay for the visit and they said that I confirmed on the call that I wanted to proceed with an appointment (even though I was under the impression I would not be charged if services could not be provided) and that by confirming the appointment I was confirming the charge for the visit. The visit that I never actually had since I never was told to go to a Doctor or told if they could provide any services. I was told to wait for another Doctor to call me which never happened.
Although this isn't a lot of money they would not refund there is a principle of what is unethical business practices. I was charged for a service that I never received. After not hearing back from another Doctor within 24 hours, I called my regular Doctor to make an appointment. They are claiming that the Doctor who called me rendered services and that is why I am being charged the $45. However this Doctor never provided any service- why would I pay $45 for a visit where a Doctor says that another Doctor would call me and then nobody does? No medical advice or service was provided.

Made an appointment through teledoc. The doctor finally called me back, and said that he can't help me. The call was under 30 seconds long, and they charged me $40! Nothing was completed!

I made a virtual doctor visit with Teladoc. I explained my issue in two sentences and the doctor said he couldn't help me. When I asked if I still paid for the call despite getting no assistance, he said yes. He then proceeded to tell me that his ex had kidnapped his children and took them to Israel; I'm assuming to try and extend the call log so that it looked like he actually spent time advising me. It was an incredibly unprofessional conversation and felt very, very, very much like a scam artist. He had no idea how to help me and I have very serious doubts that he was a doctor. I was billed $50.

I had my son call about a horrible cold during the holidays. Trying to avoid the ER I decided to call teladoc. The doctor he spoke to told him to take over the counter cold medicine. I paid $45 for the doctor to tell my extremely sick child to take over the counter medicine. I called and complained asking for a refund and was denied. Later that day, I had to take my son to the ER because he kept getting worse. The ER diagnosed him with the flu and prescribed him medications for that. I called teladoc back and told them that and they still denied my refund. They are scamming people. I ended up having to pay for the ER and $45 with Teladoc.

I contacted Teladoc because I am sick. I have a recurring sickness every few months. It is the same thing. I get a sore throat with phlegm. Lots of phlegm and then I am not able to speak because I lose my voice. Before I spoke this doctor. you have to fill out so much online information but that is just a waste of time because the doctor did not bother to read it. In there, I not only included the throat issues but I also have a cold sore on my upper lip and uploaded a pic of it. The doctor was very short with me and rushed me off the phone. He said he could not prescribe any antibiotics. He recommended I take advil and nasal spray. I told him that I did not pay $25 for him to recommend OTC drugs. I told him I needed a real Rx especially since I am losing my voice and it to work. I need to get better ASAP. I asked him to hold on a few minutes so I could lookup what Rx I was given by my primary doctor. I wanted him to prescribe it to me again. The only reasons I used this service was bc I have this new job with this new insurance and it was the weekend. The walk-in clinic costs $70 with this new insurance. So I just got the letter from my new insurance this weekend advertising this Teladoc along with new insurance card. Tela doc is open 24/7 was well so I also needed help faster. I wasn't understanding why he couldn't hold on the phone a few minutes and prescribe the my previous Rx. Dr. Fahel G was rude and had no patience in explaining why he could not prescribe what I needed. He said he could just send an Rx for a nasal spray and ibuprofen and then he had to get off the phone because he had to go. He was so short, rude and he didn't even give me a RX for the cold sore. Maybe he forgot since he was so rushed. I filed a complaint and customer service called me today. I told them I was not satisfied with my phone appointment and that I am actually not getting better. MY voice is worse today and asked them to allow me to speak to another doctor instead for no additional cost . They did confirm that there was no time limit on the phone appointments. They also said they do not record or monitor the phone appts with the doctors. I asked them to pull up and listen to the conversation I had with Dr. Fahel. They denied my request. They said when I signed up for the service they had a disclaimer stating no guarantee of any Rxs. I was also told if I wished to speak to another doctor I would be charged again and that I might speak to the same doctor because they do not have a blocking system. Why in the world would I want to pay again and speak to the same person that had bad poor bedside manners. Since they will not allow me to speak to another doctor free of charge, I want my money back. I also want to advise to others out there to not use this service and just do see a real live doctor. How are they going to diagnose you correctly anyways if they can't see or touch in person? They can't run tests. This "service" is a scam.

As a Federal Blue Cross Blue Shield Insurance holder, I should have been charged $10 for this visit. Because teladoc did not properly allow me to register my account, they charged me $45. I contacted them this morning and they indicated that because I registered via their app, even though they can see my insurance information from BCBS, they would not refund the incorrectly charged balance of $35.

I had set up a video call with Teladoc for my son who had an ear infection - I couldn't enter his information in to get the apt for him so I put a comment in for the dr stating that the apt was actually for him and not myself - when the dr came on the video chat I explained the situation to her and she put it all in the computer that it was for my son and not me. she also said I wouldn't have any issues with this, I asked her if I would have a problem with getting the RX and she said no. She put this in her notes:Notes from the Provider: I have contacted the nurse line to send over a prescription for Peyton to the pharmacy. He will need to take 2 tsp by mouth twice a day for 10 days. He needs to complete all of the medication. If his symptoms continue after 48-72 hours on the antibiotic then he needs to be evaluated.
since it was after hours for the pharmacy I had to wait until the morning, I called the pharmacy in the morning and there was no RX sent over. I then called teladoc 3 times and by the 3rd time I spoke to a guy in their precristion department and he told me yes it was sent over but we canceled it because it is for your son and not you. I told him that the dr knew all this and put notes in about it and that I wouldnt have any problems. I do not think it is right to cancel a RX that a dr sent over and there were notes in the file about it. which in turn I had to take my son to an actual dr to get his medicine so he waiting another 24hrs in pain because of these people. they were rude and unruley. I then demanded a refund and they said they couldnt and I told them yes you will need to as you stopped the RX from going to the pharmacy. all I want is my refund, I recieved another call today 12/stating that they have no notes that I spoke to anyone there and I spoke to a total of 4 different people.

I needed an RX from a dermatologist so I figured let me try it so a “dermatologist” sent the RX to CVS which is not a rinky dink pharmacy and turns out they refused to release my RX because the doctor's med ID expired and Teledoc obviously is saying that’s incorrect and has yet to give me my refund. Their solution was for me to go to another pharmacy!!! Well I found the doctor on LinkedIN and she hasn't practiced since 2015 and she's now an ASSISTANT professor, not even a professor.

I used teladoc on october , 2019, one time and paid by credit card for a 40 dollars fee. Teladoc double billed me, they took my credit card and then took money out of my insurance health savings accounts. I called them multiple times and no one would call me back. They have a D minus ratings on Revdex.com, the attorney General should fine the company or shut it down for fraud.

Doctor spoke very fast with strong accent and couldn't understand a word he said. Told me he would be sending in a perscription and when I called customer service to check on the perscription there was no order. The doctor spent 3mins on the phone and took my $40 for absolutely nothing. Called customer service to request a refund and they have denied my refund request. They took my money and provided no service.

I called this company to request Dr. visit via phone call. A “supposed” to be doctor by the name of Noelle S was the one called me back. She asked questions, and I responded describing my symptoms. The Dr. attempted to subscribe me steroids instead of an antibiotic in which she could not justify as to why she was prescribing it. She stated that it’s Teladoc’s policy to not prescribe an antibiotic before experiencing symptoms 10 days prior in which is incorrect bc in fact if that was true they wouldn’t treat influenza with an antibiotic within 3-4 at start of symptoms. When I called her out on this she became very belligerent and refuse to address any of my other medical questions and concerns. She advised that she was hanging up the phone, and she abruptly ended the call. This supposed dr disconnected the call at her own will and before completing her contractual obligations to clients such as myself in which is addressing all of my medical concerns. Because after all this is to imitate an in person dr’s visit. I was charged for services that were not rendered. Her behavior was that of an inexperienced, unprofessional business woman. This is a poor representation of a Teladoc in which I will never use again!
