Extremely happy with the choice and use of Sunlight Contractors for an upgraded insulation project for my home.
Found all employees to be courteous, knowledgeable, professional, and punctual.
Work was performed on schedule w/ no surprises, and as explained during the initial site survey/estimating process.
Great spray foam roof job! Knowledgeable and thorough. Our behavioral hospital roof had chronic leaking problems for years but now we can look forward to a watertight roof and energy efficiency gains. I would recommend them.
Thanks John,
Your spray foam roofing project at the hospital was one of the toughest project with the hot summer sun beating down at 90+ degrees. It had to be 110+ on the roof which was a 4-week project with 10 men and 2- women.
We are very pleased that you are happy with our hard work and knowledge knowing that you have a leak free and energy efficient Spray Foamed roof assembly.
We were very happy with the installation, Corey was very friendly and professional the entire crew was courteous and didn't mind the baby T-rex's(aka Great Dane puppies) when the job was complete the made sure the work site was cleaned up. The insulation has made a drastic improvement on the room addition we had added on!!!!!!!
Very satisfied with the professionalism, quality of work, and attention to detail given by this team! Our project was not only removal and replacement of old insulation with the spray-foam type, but new spray-foam added to an existing extension of the house -- a job of significant size that took approximately three days. Yet there were no cut corners, communication was thorough and prompt at all stages, and a follow-up was made after the job was done to ensure that thoroughness of work. It does indeed feel like a new house, not a foreclosure that we're sprucing up! Nothing but praise for a team that clearly cares about their work and their clients.
I called Sunlight with aome questuons about what options I had for spray on foam insullation. After walking me through the optiona and deacribing thier products I decided to go with them. After the installation the following weekend was the last cold front we had. After the installation my heater never came on (thermostat set to 70) even through it was freezing outside. Afterwards they came to thermal image my attic and found no need for additiobal spray. They came in did the job right the first time, were very professional and curtious.
James thank you for your comments.
whenever you hire a spray-foam or A/C
licensed contractor insist on the company coming back 3-5 days after to reinspect their work with a thermal imaging camera.
Other companies will give you every excuse in the book that its not necessary but it certainly is. Just ask Sunlight and we will explain why..
Sunlight contractors just finished doing an insulation job in my attic. They were very informative in what needed to be done to fix our insulation issues that we were experiencing. They kept us informed of everything that was happening throughout the process and contacted us whenever issues can up. They were great to work with.
Sunlight Contractors honored everything they promised in the contract. All their workers were very courteous and very hard workers. In checking with other companies, Sunlight Contractors had the best knowledge of spray foam insulation. Ira answered every question my wife and I had. The difference in our home and attic is like night and day! Anyone considering having spray foam insulation installed in your home or business, do yourselves a favor a give Sunlight Contractors a call. It will be the best call you can make!
The difference in Terry's attic is night and day. That's says it all. We all at Sunlight Contractors value and respect our customers property and our reviews speak for themselves.
.
I chose Sunlight Contractors because they had the highest number of 'A' rated reviews on Angies List for the job our home was in need of. After careful research, I called Sunlight Contractors and spoke with Ira Bosh after which I had the highest confidence Sunlight Contractors was the right fit for the job.
Sunlight Contractors is a great company which took their time to completely remediate my home that was riddled with mold. Sunlight Contractors has a licensed mold remediation contractor from the IICRC, Mr. Glen ***, who came to my home and conducted a complete evaluation. Glen performed the mold reports which were sent to a certified laboratory. Sunlight Contractors is also a licensed mold remediation contractor with the Louisiana state licensing board of contractors.
When the mold reports revealed high levels of mold, Glen recommended that my family and I leave our home ASAP to be safe. I then hired Sunlight Contractors and they sprayed all the mold spores around my home with an EPA certified Mold Stat that killed the mold spores. After spraying countless times, they vacuumed and scrubbed every inch of my walls, ceilings, and floors with an EPA certified mold disinfectant. They also removed all of our family's clothing from the house along with fibrous materials and placed them in a 16 foot pod. They then scrubbed the entire home again before going through with a HEPA vacuum air scrubber to remove all the dead mold spores.
The drying process took about 2 weeks, but Sunlight Contractors wanted the job done right so they didn't rush through my home to move onto the next project. They took their time, were patient, and gave my home the attention it really needed. They brought huge commercial dehumidifiers and high-speed commercial HEPA air purification fans into our home to bring down all the moisture and humidity levels.
After the moisture and humidity levels were brought down to acceptable levels, Sunlight Contractors inspected my home and took more moisture readings to make sure their full-proof process was working.
Sunlight Contractors also had to replace our kitchen cabinets and granite counter tops.
Without Sunlight Contractors, my family would not have known we were living in a hazardous environment that could have jeopardized our health.
Since we were disinfecting the entire house, we also decided to spray foam the attic to insure our home would be completely sealed and have assurance that the humidity would remain outside and not inside the house.
We revamped the HVAC system and completely changed our energy envelope by installing a 295-pint a day dehumidification system which, in tandem with the spray foam enclosure, will bring down our humidity level to 50% or below.
My family and I are very happy with all the work Sunlight Contractors has performed and I would recommend them to all my family and friends.
Sunlight Contractors came in at the end of the project and took five more mold samples which were sent to a certified mold laboratory. After the samples were evaluated by the laboratory, their report indicated no more elevated mold spores were found. The reason I know this is because Ira Bosh from Sunlight Contractors sent me dozens of pictures and videos everyday explaining each and every step of the process. Sunlight Contractors is one of the most transparent companies I have ever done business with and if I could, I would rate them much higher than only five stars.
I would place their dedication to their customers at the highest level possible. Anyone can feel free to call me for a reference.
What a wonderful review. We can't thank you enough David for giving Sunlight Contractors your vote of confidence on this project.
Six men everyday for 3 weeks and the results are confirmed by a certified license laboratory. NO ELEVATED MOLD SPORES.

Was very glad I contacted Sunlight Contractors for my insulation needs. The crew was very respectful and experienced in handling the spray foam installation. I would definitely recommend this group to anyone needing insulation.
Regards
Very good guys to work with. Guys installed closed cell foam in my 40x60 metal building. Did a very good job in a timely manner.
Devin knew exactly what he wanted. Sunlight Sprayed closed cell 2LB closed cell 2" in depth on Devin's metal building. Sunlight will guarantee the Gaco Western closed cell material used will adhere for the life of the structure. There is no better product on the market than closed cell sprayed in a metal building. Just go on line and google search the brochure and data sheet for Gaco Western 183M or Gaco Western One pas and see why. Thank you Devin.
After talking to a few companies about spray foam insulation I decided to go with sunlight contractors because I found them to be the most knowledgeable about the product and how to do the job properly. I found the workers to be very professional and the job was very professionally done. I would highly recommend this company for anyone in the market for spray foam insulation.

Thank you Chuck. Homeowners like you who do their due diligence never get burnt with an unlicensed contractor. To all our readers, only do business with contractors who specialize and are licensed in the Work that you want completed. Louisiana State Licencing board of Contractors. (LSLBC)
Two days prior to scheduling your service I decided to prove to my husband that what was coming through our ceiling vents was unhealthy. He was not able to understand about an odor that was irritating to me and he could not smell it. Having had numerous
sinus surgeries and infection, my sinus was wide open to pollutants. Now, my proof was to stand in front of a ceiling vent as it
actively blew the irritating odor and the air, heavy with particles of fiber unseen by the naked eye. I didn't realize how serious my
proof would be. Immediately, I started feeling the fiber in my throat and eyes. It was there alright. We scheduled to remove the
50 year old fiberglass and cellulose insulation on Friday, October 12th with . The SunLight team arrived with equipment to vacuum and haul away what had caused destruction to my life for years. My proof had further caused fluid in my ears probably because I was coughing so hard. While some very capable, caring people from SunLight continued to work to improve conditions in the attic and in my home, I was sent to the doctor and then my son's home. On Saturday, October 13th, my birthday, I was receiving the most unusual gift I've ever received, polyurethane foam insulation.
I hope you will consider the air that you breathe and that your children breathe. I don't guarantee considering allergy as a cause for
frequent irritation and infection but it took me a long time to realize where it was coming from. I don't recommend proving it.
Now, that I am back in my home, I can tell there is a define change. The air seems lighter, fresher and BREATHABLE. YES! It's cooler and the air conditioner doesn't run as much and as long. We are going to be ready for winter warmth with our roof's new coat.
Thank you Ira for a job well done. To Clayton and the SunLight Team, Thank You!
We are honored to help you. Most homeowners don't realize that the old dirty insulation in their home can be a big health issue, Thank you Michael & Gloria for letting our readers know the results you experienced.
Ira did the most important things a good contractor can do. He did what he said he was going to do when he said he was going to do it. We can't ask for better than that.
Your comments are well appreciated.
The past few months have probably been the most difficult and stressful time of my life. My youngest son was born with a rare congenital disorder called agenesis of the corpus callosum. The affects of this disorder can range from virtually asymptomatic to severe neurological disabilities. The last thing I needed was to discover an extensive moisture and mold problem growing under the subfloor of my home. My husband searched for a company with stellar reviews and decided upon Sunlight Contractors. After dealing with this company I can understand why they have so many rave reviews. Clayton and his crew were out the next day pulling down insulation, remediating the mold and drying out the subfloor. Unfortunately, because the mold and moisture problem had been neglected for so long by the previous owner, all our flooring would need to be replaced. The flooring expert came out that night measuring how much we'd need and began demo within 3 days of his initial visit. Sunlight Contractors have been professional, fast and fairly priced. They have made what is a very stressful time in my life so much easier and I am very grateful. They've allowed me to focus on my family and not have to worry about my house. I know my house is in good hands.
Thank you Rebbeca. We appreciate the time you spent reviewing our company.
As everyone can see we try hard to expedite all our projects.
My husband and I wanted spray foam in our home to reduce our electric bill and to overall make the house more comfortable, plus added bonus of being able to store stuff in a attic that is not 130 degrees. We got Sunlight Contractors to come to our home to give us a quote. Clayton initially came out and did a thorough inspection. He was extremely nice and professional. He explained everything that would need to happen. Then Ira sent me a quote. From that quote I had several additional questions via email that were answered right away by Ira. I also added some additional things I need such as laying boards in the attic, sealing vents for termites, spray for bugs in attic, and removing items in the attic before they started. Ira was so nice about all of it and even came back out with Clayton to do a once over before they started and explain everything to me. His paperwork was impeccable. He kept track of everything so there were no surprises. I was SUPER surprised they would be able to start that weekend, I was going to be out of town but Ira told me to leave it to them to complete. I did so and was SO SO SO impressed! The whole team was extremely professional and did SUCH A GOOD JOB! It took 4 days to do everything we needed and it was perfect. They left everything so nice and clean. The price for everything was very reasonable. I will DEF be using them again for a couple remodels around my home! LOVE THEM!
Kim,
Thank you for such a wonderful review. We try so hard to please all of our valued customers and when our customers take the time like you have it makes everything we do so rewarding.
My issues started when we noticed our original floor boards in our 100 year old house started cupping on the edges. With the amount of humidity and rain that we get I had moisture problems under my house. My initial online research led me to another company that told me about their fancy elaborate system that would take care of all of my problems. Evidently they were in over their head because they stopped returning my calls and emails about the quote that was promised to me the next day. One week later I called Sunlight Contractors. I received a call from Ira that same day. He knew what my problem was and how to fix it before laying eyes on it. Someone came by the house the next morning and I had the quote that same day. Three days later they showed up to my house and went to work. They sealed off the underside of the house and used an indirect heater and duct work to dry out the wood. Four days later the closed cell spray foam was installed. That was yesterday, so far so good. My floors have mostly returned to original state and the entire down stairs feels more stable. Time will tell on the energy savings but I am sure it will be significant. The entire crew was professional and seems to have eliminated our problems and helped us preserve our home. Mr. Ira is one of the nicest guys that I have dealt with in dealing with anything contractor related. Thanks Sunlight!
Billy your problems are solved. We are so fortunate to have valued customers like you.
We work so hard and guarantee all our work and when we get reviews like this it makes us feel great.
Thank you again for your trust and confidence.
I needed my insulation redone in my attic and did quite a bit of research into who I would like to do the work. When I got to Sunlight Contractors, I left a message asking for a quick quote and more information. Mr. Ira at Sunlight Contractors got back to me that night, well past business hours. He gave me every amount of information you could wish to have when selecting a company to do work on your home. He told me to make sure that whomever I got to do the work was a licensed contractor, to check with mastersprayfoam.com to make sure that I was getting a quality company to do the work, to check out the Revdex.com to look into reviews left by people who had hired different companies. Thank goodness he did, because of the 4 different companies I was looking at, Sunlight Contractors was the only business that was a licensed contractor, a master spray foam insulator, and the reviews on the Revdex.com were outstanding. His men were punctual and efficient, getting out the loose insulation in my attic in just a few hours, with only two men working. And they kept the whole work site clean and organized. There was nothing for me to do except let them in! He answered any questions I had, no matter the time of night, was extremely knowledgeable, willing to accommodate my busy schedule, and I never felt pressured to chose his company over another. He was honest about what specs were required for code and I really felt like he was personally looking out for my best interests. These attributes of Mr. Ira are the reason I chose Sunlight Contractors to work on my home and are the reason I will recommend this company to any person looking for insulation installation.
Sunlight Contractors has answered my dilemma of finding qualified and competent people to do work in my short crawlspace. Most contractors and sub-contractors are not willing to do this sort of dirty and cramped work. Because of this, our floor structure has deteriorated and rotted past the point of minor repairs. Ira and his team have been very helpful, giving me updates on leaking pipes, rotted beams, etc. as they go. It is a challenging, grimy and expensive job, but we are off to a good start! They have been willing to work with me on staging, phasing and determining the best course of action. Though we are just 2 weeks in, I feel like we are in good hands!
Cindy,
Your moisture issues in your crawl space are severe.
As you can see you are in very competent hands and your home will never again have moisture issues from the crawl space. That's guaranteed in writing.
For several years, we dealt with a high moisture problem under our home (part of which is over 100 years old). The moisture was reported to us by termite inspectors, AC servicemen, a floor installer, etc.). We tried several methods of control, such as ground barriers and ventilation fans. After a few years, a large section of the floor began "cupping." We then learned that others in this area (Thibodaux) and a friend in Baton Rouge were having the same problem. This was occurring in multiple areas due to the high rainfall in Southeast Louisiana over the past several years.
It wasn't until we learned about Sunlight Contractors that we got the answer to the problem. The main problem is that there is severe damage to the underlying foundation caused by moisture destroying wood, a scary situation to say the least. The floor almost fell through. (A friend down the road had a bed post break through the floor. He has the same problem as we do.) Sunlight diagnosed the problem. No one else did. All of our prior efforts were a waste of time and money.
Sunlight got on the job quickly, pulling out rotting 2" x 12" x 20" joists and 6" by 6" support beams, replacing each with pressure treated pine. After the wood is replaced, the foam insulation will be installed.
There is still a lot of work to do. So far, everything has gone well. I have a feeling that this project will end well. I will write more after the job is completed.
job was done in a professional manner everything they said they would do done job well done thanks guys
We decided to go with Sunlight Contractors because of their credentials and how thorough their contract is. They invited us to tour a home they sprayed so we could examine the quality of their workmanship. We were impressed that there was no nasty odor from off-gassing! Can't say the same for other companies we considered. Also, they use a quality foam that has a higher R value than other companies and they are not skimpy about applying it. Also, the owner is very responsive and is great to work with. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for. Our project is set for March 14-16, 2018 so I will update once our job has been completed.
Thank you. We always give our customers more than what they pay for. That's why we are the most reviewed insulation company in the entire industry.
After intense comparison between many companies B.C and her husband decided to go with Sunlight Contractors building their dream house. Everyone should always do their research and make sure the company you chose Is a licensed Commercial or Residential contractor with the Louisiana State Licensing Board of Contractors, not a Home improvement contractor. Just check online and see the companies name and make sure it matches up with the contractor doing your work. When unmarked cars and trucks rollin and they are unmarked you know something is up.
To many customers are reporting Horror Stories because they wanted to save a few bucks and unknowingly hired a Chuck in a truck.
Sunlight is the most licensed insulation contractor in the entire Southeast and we are proud of the work we perform.
Thank you B.C your electric bill in the 4000 sq. foot home your building will be under $100.
