I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
As stated in the original complaint, the install was never approved by us, the home owners. The install was substandard and has defaced and devalued our home. This complaint was day 1 since install.
[redacted]'s spoke to my husband (we the home owner) 2 months ago only because our repeated complaint to the current manager. It also took my husband calling back before this was brought to [redacted]'s attention 2 months ago. That is not when we started complaining. Again, we complained since day 1. Now he is trying to claim that our patients for their resolution since install in 2012 is the problem???
[redacted] admits he needs to look at it himself to try to resolve the problem. However, it appears to be another stall tactic as we never heard back and he is avoiding all calls.
The owner [redacted]'s ignorance from our complaint since te day it was installed is a reflection of the manner they conduct business. Their lack of communication from the original manager who failed to communicate with him, does not mean the consumer takes the blame for poor work.
The only resolution is for the company to re-route the conduit as anyone on the business should have, NOT in front of the house, or we are forced to ask someone else to do the job correctly and and pursue legal action against summerwind solar for the cost of doing this job right. We will also let the rest of the consumer world know how this company conduct business by simply posting their work on [redacted], and consumer review to have all judge what they have done. If [redacted] has no shame on what his company did, he would have no problem having all consumers view their outrageously poor work.

[redacted] is my X husband since 2001, not my husband. If they won't honor the contract that I have for the $7,000 loan, then they have to re adjust my payment and deduct it from my monthly payment because it was formulated into my payment. .. As for the leak, it is in a back bedroom that I rarely go into and look up at the ceiling. I am prepared to stop auto withdrawal on this account if this is not resolved asap. Thank you. Rachelle
Regards,
Customer was installed in July of 2012 system was inspected and passed in later part of July and was commissioned in Aug. of 2012. The customer never said anything to Summerwind until 2 months ago. We sent our customer service man out to the home his name is [redacted]. The customer sated to him...
that the conduit needed to be moved because her remodeling contractor told her that an inspector told him that it was to close to a gas line. [redacted] asked for the inspectors name and she said she wanted it moved because she did not like the way It looked. [redacted] offered to paint it and said that because of the location of the panel and where it was located this was the only way it could have been done at the time. The customer is doing a remodel and the contractor told them he did not want to touch it because that was not his speciality.
we offered to move it at our cost and I guess she did not like the cost thus this complaint. Again we would be happy to move it and work with there contractor at our cost.
Thank you [redacted]
By the way I have never spoken with Ms. **
When This was sold by [redacted] Walker,we applied for and received a permit from the City Of Phoenix based on original contract. When the cities inspector inspected the residence, he informed us the main service panel had to be upgraded due to the homeowner having a commercial business in the back yard. Summerwind installed the upgrade. After the upgrade was completed, [redacted] line crew arrived after the new upgrade was completed and told us we needed to run and trench a new line and another heavy conduit. We installed it. When [redacted] came out for a new inspection they informed us and the homeowner transformer is needed due to the commercial business on the property. This added expense was well in excess of $10,000 that Summerwind paid for. After all inspections from [redacted] were complete we covered the trenches and paid for new granite because it rained and the homeowner drove his cars over the trenches and stuck his car in the trench so we had to pay again for more granite. The cost of the transformer can be refunded in full from [redacted] after a period of 12 months to the homeowner. The amount is $3006.10An expense paid for by Summerwind Solar.
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Regards,
According to [redacted] is responsible for monitoring the system for the 1st 2 years. It didn't take them 6 months because of me. It took them 6 months because they had the wrong equipment. They kept on just showing up without making appointments. At the time I worked out of my home office and on 2 occasions when they came out they were able to attempt to install the monitoring equipment but it didn't work correctly. I finally suggested having my son, who is a computer "wiz kid" help them and they agreed. The scheduling problem came about because he worked o Saturdays and that's when they wanted to come out. I believe they had to wait 2 or 3 weeks for him to schedule a Saturday off. In any event the buck seems to be getting passed around regarding the solar. They have not monitored it for the required 2 years and it's their responsibility. As far as the driveway goes it's simply a terrible unmatched, in texture, repair and not acceptable by any standards.
I will be contacting the customer today to set up a site visit with them.
Firstly, I would like to correct my complaint. The upgrade to the electrical box was performed and complete. I am satisified with that. I find the remaining response unprofessional. [redacted] was an employee and representative of Summerwind. He was also the person who sold me the system. My complaint does not stem from [redacted]s advise to file this claim. Summerwind provided at no charge to me an energy audit on my home from [redacted] Energy Solutions. The results of that audit concluded that there were various deficiencies in my home that were contributing to the increased electrical usage of my home. $4,000.00 was added to the lease of the contract to add, repair or replace various items that contributed to the excessive consumption of electrical energy. [redacted] Energy Soulitions were hired by Summerwind and paid by them. Summerwind was the general contractor of these upgrades and [redacted] Energy Soulitions was the sub-contractor. For Summerwind to suggest that the client contact their sub-contractor is incorrect. I contacted the company that was paid for the services performed at my house. When I complained to my salesperson, [redacted] about the damage to my home from those upgrades, [redacted] informed me that he had spoken to [redacted]. and [redacted] from Summerwind for some time about the damage to my property. I have not heard from Summerwind since this was brought to their attention. I have been patient for over a year and would appreciate repairs to be made to my property promptly. I have attached a copy of the amount of dollars that were for improvements as well as a photo of one of the numerous damages to my property caused by the installation.
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I am sympathetic to Mr. [redacted]'s medical condition, however we still as customer left ignored. No one from company has informed us. This has been a recurring theme since 2012 with different contacts and managers/ partners. I am sorry they don't have records of our complaints, but not did they ever followed up from since install. I welcome me [redacted] to please email/call and can come out anytime to look at his install.
As me [redacted] admits he has not looked at his company's work. Therefore I would ask him to please refrain from defending his company's actions until he actually see the problem. I am sure with his reported integrity he would correct the long overdue problem.

This person first reached out to me on Friday,May 21 demanding someone come out I told him the company closed and I would try next week to find something or someone to simply come out and turn it on properly. He continued to call Saturday and Sunday. I am sorry but those are my days off...
and I told him I would try and get someone out the following week obviously he does not want to listen. Summerwind has closed the doors and I am trying to find someone to go look at it and turn it on but when he calls and threatens law suits and acts like this I am a little hesitant to do anything. Again Summerwind is closed and will close the Summerwind Revdex.com account. Again this system is completely installed and was provided as described I will reach out to him this week when I can find a technician to go turn the system on.
[redacted] is leasing his solar panels through [redacted]. We did speak to Mr. [redacted] on 2/20/2014 about his production. We informed him at that time that he needed to contact the leasing company about the production of the solar panels. The leasing company can see what the panels are...
producing; we (Summerwind Solar, LLC) cannot view his production. It is the leasing company that guarantees the annual production of the panels. It is part of his lease.
When we turned on Mr.[redacted]’s system, we also tried to connect his monitoring system. This was difficult and Mr. [redacted] had a restricted schedule on when we could come out to work on it. It took us 6 months to finally get his monitoring up and running. Due to the delay of monitoring, we do not have a full year of production. It does take a full year of monitoring to see if there any loss of production. Mr. [redacted]’s monitoring system has been on since 9/7/2013.
In regards to the driveway, the difference is the new concrete to the existing concrete. We replaced the driveway with broom finished to match the existing driveway. We have been out there 3 times-2 times with the homeowner and 1 time with the sales representative.
Highly recommendable Company. Solar panel is doing so far good. Our monthly Electricity bills are reduced. We all are very happy. Thanks Summer wind Solar. I would like to recommend you to all because by installing the solar panels you guyz making the environment cleaner and safer!!!
Review: On April 12 2013 I signed an agreement with Summerwind Solar for a lease with [redacted] Solar. Summerwind being the dealer for [redacted] Solar .
Lease number being [redacted], a 11.445 watt solar system. Included in the lease agreement was a new [redacted] Pool Pump Eco -star and a seven thousand dollar rebate.
To date 1/21/2014 the solar system was put in and is operational.
During the install the installers created a leak in my roof causing a leak in my guest bedroom.
To date after complaining to my Solar consultant many times , I was told that Summerwind has no intentions of paying me my Rebate of seven thousand dollars or putting in the pool pump.
I have been paying my lease on time which includes the pool pump and seven thousand dollars.
I was charged $1200.00 dollars for the pool pump and promised $7000.00 rebate for a total of $8200.00 dollars.Desired Settlement: Refund check for $8200.00 dollars and $80.00 dollars per month since I paid my first payment in September.

Response:
[redacted] was sold by [redacted] husband whom was an independent contractor for Summerwind. The $7000 rebate was not known at the time by either me or my partner. We would have never agreed to that it is not the right way to do business. We do however agree with the installation of the pool pump and will schedule that asap for install. To rebate a family member is just not the way we want to do business. As far as the roof leak is concerned this is this first we have heard of it. Would you not think that we have not seen any rain for months that you would have said something after the last rain? This complaint has no validity and should not be against Summerwinds Revdex.com standing. Thanks[redacted]Managing MemberSummerwind Solar LLC

I was stated in my last response we never agreed to a rebate that was promised by an independent contractor/ relative of the customer. Our settlement proposal is to install the pool pump. We are held to a dealer agreement by [redacted] that does not allow a "rebate" to be applied to the lease. Not only did the independent contractor do this unauthorized, he asked that the check be made out to him. Again Summerwind will install the Pool pump.
Called for warranty service on the inverter for my rooftop solar system. They came quickly and arrived when they said they would. The system problem was quickly resolved and the solar equipment was soon producing again.
Review: They are supposed to be monitoring a solar system that was installed by them on my home. The system is guaranteed to produce 26,665Kwh per year of electricity. At the anniversary of the first year total production was 6,200Kwh. they have not met their obligation to monitor and keep in good repair the system.
They also did a driveway repair after they had to cut part of it out to repair a broken pipe that is of very poor quality. I contacted them about the production issue and basically got blown off. several months ago I contacted them about the driveway repair and was given a "song and a dance" as to why they repaired it the way they did.Desired Settlement: I want the solar system repaired to function as it should and the contractual refund honored.
I want the driveway repair redone to be asthetically close to the rest of the driveway.

I contacted Summerwind Solar regarding solar panels on my home. [redacted] came to my home and did an excellet job explaining the entire solar process and benefits. [redacted] is wonderful and kept me updated with the process and progression of everything. My solar panels were recently installed and I couldn't be happier! The installers were professional, respectful and did an exceptional job going the extra mile. I would recommend Summerwind Solar to anyone thinking about going green with solar.
I just wanted to say thank you for a good job well done yesterday by the team you sent out to my to install solar panels. The team allotted were extremely hard working, polite and efficient . They all answered any of my queries with a smile and helpfully. I shall have no hesitation in recommending "SUMMERWIND SOLAR" to all.
Review: 1. The work is incomplete: 2 of 18 micro inverter at positions 1, 17 and 1, 18 do not function as of 10/12/14 even though the system was commissioned 5/14/14. 2. The work does not fulfill expectation: Based on a commission date of 5/14/14, thus far having produced a total of 2797 kWh, based on the MicroPlus system data as of 10/12/14, it will not fulfill the promised 10,866 kwH/y. 3. The service was inferior: my roof leaks after the solar was replaced. I have had 2 separate professional roofers inspect the roof and attest that the source of the leak was the solar. They also agreed that the underlayment was changed from superior grade rubber to an R factor 90 paper, very inferior and cheap. I have turned my air conditioning up to 84 degrees throughout my house this summer and still my electric bills WITH SOLAR have far exceeded those without due to the changes to my roof. 4. I was promised a $1500 rebate that was never delivered. It turns out that after a modification required by my HOA, I was no longer qualified but this was never clarified by SummerwindDesired Settlement: Complete refund for the total cost of the system, which is $28,991 plus an estimated $6000 to repair my roof to its original state.

This letter is in response to the complaint from the customer [redacted] We are currently trying to work with the customer regarding her complaints. I am supplying some of the HOA emails and other information but we have not been able to go out and inspect the roof issues or repair any of the items due to not being able to set time frames that will meet the homeowners schedule. Summerwind also provided an upgraded service panel and 2 new car chargers for the homeowners electric cars. These 2 car chargers are 220v and use a lot of power that was being used before. There are several other issues that need to be worked out and Summerwind will continue to try and work this out with the homeowner. I wanted to file this to meet the 7day deadline. Thanks [redacted]
Review: Firstly I was charged for a 200 amp electric box upgrade which was never installed which I was charged $2,500. Secondly, I paid $4,00.00 for energy reduction products which include radiant barrier in the attic, upgraded insulation, removal and installation of new ductwork and the installation of an attic fan. During the installation, all of my recessed lighting was knocked loose causing them to sag on the interior ceiling walls. Also, a water line in the attit which ran to my swamp cooler was broken causing a leak in the front bedroom causing ceiling, and carpet damage. One of the upducts in the front bedroom was also damaged and cannot be repaired.
I have call the company 3 or 4 times with no results. I spoke to [redacted] the Sales consultant for Summerwind Solar who spoke with [redacted] owner of Summerwind with no results.Desired Settlement: All the above to be repaired or replaced and the electric panel I paid for installed per contract.

Response:
This complaint is about [redacted] whom was fired by Summerwind Solar for doing unscrupulous dealings. [redacted] is having his friends and customers file complaints with the Revdex.com against Summerwind. Mr. [redacted] complaint that is being filed stems from this reason. Mr [redacted] system was installed almost 2 years ago and this is the first we have heard about these allegations. Summerwind did not do the extra work described by Mr. [redacted]. [redacted] took on himself to order the extras like more insulation, attic barrier, etc. Summerwind had nothing to do with that. So if Mr. [redacted] has issues with those he should file the complaint with the company that did those extras not Summerwind. Something tells me that we will be seeing more complaints coming from Mr. [redacted]s customers.

In response to Mr. [redacted] complaint Summerwind was never notified by the customer or by [redacted] that there was any damage. [redacted] was not is not and never will be a sub-contractor of Summerwinds. [redacted] was brought in by [redacted] and not by us. Again [redacted] was the person agreeing to provide this. If there is damage caused by them and it was because of SummerwindS neglect we will be more than happy to take care of the damage. I did not receive the Bill. Are we sure there are not any other items since the first complaint because it has changed. Thanks[redacted]
Review: The company installed the solar panels as a subcontractor for [redacted]. The original install in 2012 was problematic with install conduit inappropriately installed in front of the house, defacing the home. Everyone who comes to my house comments on "Who the heck installed this?" Complaints were made to the original install manager [redacted]. Messages to us was that they were going to come to fix it. Months after months of delay too place. However, after more than a year of delay, upon further complaints, we were told that [redacted] no longer works with Summerwind Solar. They had NEVER finished the follow-up of the installation, and had never completed the install by finishing the conduit the way it should have been. We have a bare-conduit running up the front of my home! New install manager came out and agrees that it was unacceptable, but offered to "paint it". This was unacceptable and cannot mask how it defaced the home. After months of delay and no call-backs, I was able to get him on the phone and he reported that this is a question for the owner. Owner, Mr. [redacted] did call and said he would come out to look at it himself. He first state that it was installed to permit, but agrees that the permit doesn't specify how the conduit would run. Nor has the plan of installation EVER BEEN approved by us. He stated that he never heard about the original complaint, and had we complained earlier, he would have done something about it (We complained since 2012!). Big surprise, He NEVER called again or left any messages. I called back several times now for 3 weeks, and never got another call back.Desired Settlement: The Electrical conduit needs to be re-routed to acceptable installation standard. Not strait IN FRONT of the home, WITHOUT our permission, and DEFACING my property.

Again Ms. ** continues to say he has had conversations with me [redacted]. I have never spoken with either of them or been to there residence. They continue to insult me and my company but again if they would like to call and speak with me for the first time I would be happy to speak with them. I am finally out of the hospital so I am available. I suffered a serious heart attack 2 months ago so think me being available as they said would be a little tough. They may be mistaking me for my partner [redacted]. None the less we have no record prior to 2 months ago via phone conversations, email, or any other correspondence that they were not happy with the install if they do I would like to see the correspondence stat.ing so because we went threw all our records and found none.
The customer is threatening several ways but we did not deface there home as they say. We are not in the business to deface people's homes that is ridiculous. We have offered several solutions to try and make them happy. The only solution to them is to move the conduit in there new remodel which we would be happy to do but not for free our cost. I believe this is very fair but to continue to call me names and threaten the company is not getting it anywhere.Again I would be happy to go out next week and meet and see if we could come to and agreement and meet for the first time.
Thanks

Review: On June 26th 2012 I entered into a lease agreement with Summerwind Solar and [redacted]. The lease agreement # is [redacted] and signed by [redacted]. This contract was for a solar system which would more than accomodate our home. During this install, an acre of my property was ripped up and destroyed, trenches dug several times and to this date, my phone lines that were cut during this process still have not been repaired. I complained to [redacted] several times. I got a call from [redacted] informing me that my $2500.00 rebate was not going to be paid to me and that money went into fixing my yard and the price of putting in a 60 amp service at the box. After he got quite unruly with me, I told him that nothing was being resolved so we had nothing furthur to talk about. Again I called Mr [redacted] to express my concerns with not getting my $2500.00 and repair of my phone lines. I have paid my payments monthly and expect consideration on this. This $2500.00 rebate was offered by Summerwind Solar in contract 6-28-12.Desired Settlement: I would hope that this company stands up to it's contracts and my phone lines are fixed and my $2500.00 rebate would be honored.

Again Mr. [redacted] whom was fired from Summerwind for doing unscrupulous business deals is having his friends/customers file Revdex.com complaints against Summerwind.Mrs [redacted] claims are denied by Summerwind. Summerwind never agreed to any Rebate. Summerwind had to pay for extra work that was not included in the contract and went above and beyond to try and please this customer. Again we would like to make sure the customer is happy and went threw alot of extra expense to make that happen. Again Summerwind believes that all these claims are being promoted by an x- independent contractor that is disgruntled.

This reply from Summerwinds Solar and Mr. [redacted] is the farthest from the truth. We have a signed contract saying that when our job was completed that we would be given $2500.00 rebate. Mr [redacted] refuses to refund this to us, and told me he had too much money in our project. I was not the one that calculated this. If they had not torn our whole yard up twice, he would not have had to pay the fee, and if they would have known what they were doing, they would have factored in the fee for the 60 amp service. I believe I have held up my end of the contract, and now it's his turn to get my rebate to me which is months overdue.Thank You,[redacted]
