I am rejecting this response because: Again I never choose anyour area other than [redacted] There is a glitch obviously in the system because when I bid the first time it said [redacted] place for $53 which in return was not accepted so it prompted me to bid higher to resubmit to see if [redacted] place will accept the bid but PRICELINE choose whatever hotel they wanted and not my choice I later received an email with itinerary for a hotel or never placed a bid on. This is my issue clearly they have a glitch and maybe it defaulted but as a customer I am saying I did not choose those I typed in [redacted] Place manually.

I am writing to let you know that we have received your
Revdex.com concern in our Executive...

We understand that you have issues with this rental car
reservation.
We apologize for the confusion. Our records show that the
rate you purchased is non-refundable, non-transferable and non-changeable even
if the reservation is not used. If the driver provides a debit card for the
security deposit, proof of round trip airline travel may be required and any
funds used for the deposit cannot be accessed until after the car is returned.
This information was presented to you prior to purchase when you were asked to
review your reservation, including the terms associated with cancellations or
changes. When you purchased your reservation you agreed to those terms.
For your reference, a copy of the contract page has been
sent in a separate e-mail. The contract page disclosed the terms and conditions
of your reservation.
However, as a one-time exception, we have canceled this
reservation and your refund has been processed. A refund for $449.96 was issued
today, August 16, 2016. We will issue a refund to your bank within one business
day. Your bank will then post it to your account. The bank processing time
varies so please check with them if you do not see it in your account within a
few days.

I am rejecting this response because:The renovations were major as demonstrated in the pictures I sent. Additionally, I did complain at the time of our stay. We even moved rooms (before they informed us that every room had plumbing issues). The hotel is simply lying to you.Your customer service has been atrocious -- the hotel would not meet your own 3.5 star guidelines under normal circumstances, much less under major renovation. conclusion. According to the consumer, he/she did not enter an offer price of
$73 per night as noted on the consumer’s initialed contract page. The consumer
alleges that Priceline automatically entered the consumer’s $73 offer price.
The consumer states:
“That number was automatically filled by
the business when I changed my selection of hotel types.” Please note that the consumer, and not
Priceline, enters and authorizes the offer price. Additionally, the consumer
submitted a total of 9 offers, and the consumer’s previous offer, (8th offer)
indicates an offer price of $37 per night. We are sorry if the consumer
intended to enter $37, and not $73 as entered and also authorized on the consumer’s
initialed contract page.
