limitations of the policy. Occasionally, this involves delivering news which we know our members may find disappointing. I understand that [redacted] of our staff, completed a thorough review of the claim; however, no new information was discovered to justify a change in our decision. The damage is deemed as age related deterioration; hence, replacement coverage is not warranted. Should there be additional questions Mr. [redacted] remains available to assist you.
We appreciate the opportunity to reply to you.

May 2, 2016 Mr. Steven Lavery Complaint ID #: 11383680 Dear Mr. Lavery: I am responding to your submission regarding your inability to access your accounts via usaa.com. Thank you for speaking with [redacted], of our staff, about your Property and Casualty accounts. As he explained, the balance...
owed on your insurance premiums would not have restricted your access onto our website. However, a subsequent review of your log on activity revealed that your account was locked after three failed attempts to correctly answer your security questions. We regret any misinformation you received about the reason for the restriction. We were able to confirm that your access has been fully restored. We appreciate you allowing us to reply to you. Sincerely, [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:I sspome with a USAA representative about my complaint, and received the same answers that I received the first time we spoke with a USAA representative. They made no effort to give any specific reasons for the Colorado premium being 60% higher relative to the California premium. The representative then went on to question us about our insurance history and threatened us by insinuating that we hadnt moved our insurance from state to state quickly enough. In the end I am more convinced that USAA is overcharging their long term users and more upset about it because they wasted more of my time without compensating me for it.
Regards,

Dear Commander [redacted]:
I am responding to your submission regarding your mortgage refinance. I regret any frustration this situation caused.
Thank you for speaking with [redacted],...
of our staff, who was able to research and verify that your US Bank loan was not paid off right away due to confusion with the title company because of the two closings. On August 12, 2016, United Lender Services (ULS) disbursed the funds to pay off the loan, and also paid property taxes directly to the county. Any overage in property taxes will be refunded to you by U.S. Bank. I understand that Ms. [redacted] explained that no additional compensation will be offered for the errors that were made, since there were no additional out of pocket expenses to you.
We appreciate you allowing us to reply to you. If you have any additional questions, Ms. [redacted] remains available to assist you.

I am rejecting this response because: The explanation provided by Mr. [redacted] regarding the methodology that USAA follows to determine Diminished Value compensation does not resolve the fundamental issue that USAA Diminished Value payment does not provide sufficient compensation for the actual loss of resale value of the vehicle accordingly to independent sources of information I consulted (local Toyota dealer and internet appraisal companies that specialize in Diminished Value claims). However, Mr. [redacted] informed that he reassessed my claim and consequently USAA sent me a second payment in amount of $348 (on top of the initial payment of $290). This clearly proves my point that their initial compensation which prompted my complaint to Revdex.com was grossly inadequate. Even with the second payment, total compensation received to date falls short from to the lowest estimate I obtained from independent sources. This "nickel-and-dime" and "low-balling" approach indicates, in my opinion, bad faith on behalf of USAA - they are praying on consumers' ignorance and try to avoid paying a fair compensation for consumers' losses.

loss on its own merits and make decisions in accordance with the terms, conditions, and limitations of the policy. It is important to note that your vehicle was considered repairable based on the damage amount and value of the vehicle at the time of the loss. Our records indicate that between July 15 and August 1, 2015, you were informed that a diminution in value (DIV) claim could be pursued. You were asked to call and speak with an adjuster to start the process; however, we do not have record that you attempted to make contact with an adjuster. [redacted], of our staff, was unsuccessful in his attempts to reach you to discuss the steps required to initiate the DIV claim. A DIV evaluation form was mailed to you on September 8, 2015. Once the form is completed and returned, we can move forward with the handling of the DIV claim. Should you have any questions, Mr. [redacted] remains available, and he can be reached at [redacted]
