Possible FALSE Advertising. I saw a commercial on TV for a FREE Consultation. I made an appointment, I went to my appointment. I did not get a FREE consultation because the Doctor wanted me to fill out my MEDICAL history just for a FREE Consultation, I refused! This is not right, because if I decided to do any procedures in the future, then I could have filled out their paperwork with my medical information at that time! WHY WAS I REFUSED A FREE Consultation, AS ADVERTISED on TV/Online, because I didn't fill out paperwork that didn't have anything to with my medical history, especially if I decided it was too expensive and not to use their service anyway! AND it didn't require any medical procedure just to get a Consultation? Then they weren't nice anymore!
Thank you for sharing your concern. We offer consultations at no charge to the patient and as part of the intake paperwork we require a medical history form be filled out. This information is used to determine candidacy and determine best treatment options for our patients. We apologies that the patient does not like our policies, but in order to ensure we are providing a consultation on a medical procedure that would be safe for our patients we need to understand their medical history. We would not want to consult anyone on a procedure they potentially would not qualify for.
Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:
1- We offer consultations at no charge to the patient and as part of the intake paperwork we require a medical history form be filled out.
Answer: Advertisement doesn't say Free Consultation based on filled out medical history first! Consulting a person about the procedures and showing them how it's done, doesn't require paperwork, but just answered questions from patient. After the consultation, the patient can make an another appointment to FILL out the required paperwork WHEN they decide to go forward and get the medical procedure, this is more reasonable, this way we can protect our personal information as much as possible until we have to, when really necessary.
2- This information is used to determine candidacy and determine best treatment options for our patients.
Answer: Candidacy can be determined after the consultation, which still doesn't require giving ALL our personal information unnecessarily, otherwise they have ALL our personal information On File, AFTER WE LEAVE. Sono Bello probably wants to determined Candidacy FIRST by the paperwork AND if possible clients are not a candidate, upfront, then chances are they still won't get a Free Consultation to learn and be educated about this type of procedure and possibly share their experience with family and friends who might want to look into this also, therefor; denying us a Free Consultation as advertised!
3- We apologies that the patient does not like our policies, but in order to ensure we are providing a consultation on a medical procedure that would be safe for our patients we need to understand their medical history. We would not want to consult anyone on a procedure they potentially would not qualify for.
Answer:
Again, a Free Consultation doesn't require a Medical Procedure, AND is SAFE. During the Consultation we can just tell the doctor at that time and the doctor can tell the client at that time, which STILL doesn't require giving ALL our personal information, when in a few spoken words, the doctor can tell us what WE DO qualify for and NOT what we don't qualify as they stated -- We would not want to consult anyone on a procedure they potentially would not qualify for.
ALSO- they said, We apologies that the patient does not like our policies. Again, their polices WERE NOT stated in the advertisements OR when I filled out the paperwork I did fill out. I didn't see anything, Legally authorized in writing, that the FREE CONSULTATION DEPENDS on filling out Medical History to determine qualification, FIRST!
Sincerely
I first reached out on July 7, 2020 to cancel my procedure. At that point it was my understanding that I would only receive $1,005 of the $3,000 that I had already paid. As of today, August 14, 2020, I still have not received any updates or received my refund amount. It was explained to me it would take 7-10 business days and the last time I spoke with someone was July 21, 2020. Considering the time frame, I am been very patience and understanding.
I wanted to let you all know that I received a check dated 8/18/2020. While the amount was not the full amount I was hoping for because of the Financial impact their delays has caused, it was for the amount per the documents and agreements. So while I am not 100% satisfied, I am going to say this can be closed. I at least finally got the refund amount that I should have received weeks ago.
I have surgery done back in February; my results was not what they explain to me in the bringing ; lack on commutation; very rude customers service ; never got the proper garment until 3 months later ; and that was my second visit ; prior to my one week visit . The information was very Mis leading & not accurate ! Am very unhappy & upset about this whole thing ; this company is a scam & a rip off for the amount they charge you ; you should be happy with your results . My goal was to pay off before the 12 months ; so I won’t have extra Rate. I was told they probably can fix some of the problem areas but it will be More money. Haven’t seen or spoke with doctor who did the surgery ; I was told she is no longer in there . This is not professional at all . I want to distribute this & get my money back that I already applied to this account & take my business & credits somewhere else where I can get what I need . I understand covd-19 is going on ; but it still wasn’t no commutation & once I told the nurse my concern after waiting to get appointment in 3 months ; they still wasn’t helpful ; made me feel worst then I did when I felt in February. Money money; but no results . Very unsatisfactied ; can you plz help me solve this matter . The pictures will show they did take out some fat cells but ; not what I was told my results will be. This company is a scam
& something has to be done about it ASAP ;
We're sorry to hear this patient is not satisfied with the results of her surgical procedure. We show Ms. is scheduled to meet with a board-certified plastic surgeon to further discuss her concerns. We look forward to working with Ms. towards a resolution.

do with this company; scam and very unsatisfactied in all areas ; especially the commutation . Full
refund & credit to go
toward my account ;
We are sorry to hear that this patient is not happy with her results.? She purchased and received surgery with a board certified plastic surgeon and during her consultation with the surgeon, reviewed risks, benefits, and expectations.? Although we are sorry that we did not meet her expectations, our photographic records indicate that she had a significant result.?? We are happy to discuss other options for body contouring for this patient but the service she purchased was delivered appropriately as purchased.

I am rejecting this response because:
Sincerely,
*** I never said no results was done ; clearly you can see something was done when you look at the pictures ; but not what I was told in the beginning ; if so I would be happy with my results; always been lack on commutation since the first week after surgery ; never got the proper garment until 4 months later ; which was my 2 appointment Ugh ; they sent out emails about tips every month ; but I didn’t need a tip ; I needed the problem solve . I don’t want no part of this company; I don’t trust them with my health at this point ; so we don’t need to discuss moving forward because clearly I won’t get the results they stated in the beginning
They did not provide the results promised. Also, I have scar tissue, which is visible. $15,000 wasted! There should be a class action suit against them.
I paid $6,185.00 for a procedure that was to address 4 areas (upper and lower abdominal and right and left waist areas). I had undergone a liposuction surgical procedure on 10/15/2018 performed by Dr. ***. ***. I precisely followed all required recovery instructions, bought and wore all the requested garments required during the recovery period. Attended all follow up appointments as well. I called them on 04/10/19 and expressed my concern that it had been 6 months since the procedure and it did not appear the procedure was effective on my right side and there was a bulge that was very noticeable there. The procedure was successful and thorough on the left side but not so on the left. This is noticeable even with a shirt on. There response was I needed to continue to wear the recovery garment for several more months and results in some areas take longer. I called again on 07/08/19 and asked for an appointment to have the doctor assess my results and look at the bulge that is protruding from my right side. They told me Dr. *** would be the only one that could assess my condition since he performed the procedure. They went on to say he was not going to be back at that office and available for any appointments until after the first of the year. They finally set up an appointment on 01/14/20 at which Dr. *** assessed my results and took pictures of the bulge on my right side. At which point he said they needed to forward the information to their main office and they would make a determination if another procedure or a refund would be approved and they would contact me with their decision. They have not made any attempts to contact me with regard to a decision. I have consulted with an attorney which has advised me to give Sonobello the opportunity to make it right and if not it would certainly be considered disfigurement in a legal proceeding. I prefer to give Sonobello the opportunity to correct the situation. I am hoping to save us all the aggravation of litigation.
Thank you for reaching out to Sono Bello. We're sorry to hear this patient is not satisfied with the results of his surgical procedure. We understand Mr. has spoken with our management team. We appreciate the opportunity to work with Mr. towards a resolution and look forward to seeing him soon.
My initial consultation was not with a plastic surgeon but with a consultation specialist. They only let you see the plastic surgeon after you make the full payment and have to sign something saying you wont get any of your money back. Pre op appointment and meeting with the surgeon I discuss my concerns and actually being cut open. I explained how when I meet with the consultation specialist she said she had the procedure done and had a little scare that her low rise underwear would cover. The surgeon explained to me how it would be from one hip bone to the other and because of the desired results that I want both of my procedures would have to be done at different times. I had explained to him that if I knew that the scare was that long I would of decided against the procedure talking with the one lady initially. He told me that I should also get fat removed from my upper stomach also( Which when I flex you can noticeably see my abs) and made me feel extremly pressured that I should be getting more areas done where as I didnt think it was necessary. Sonobello tells you to get your medication in advance but the prescription that they wrote me was stamped or someting so my pharmacy wouldnt fill it. Day of procedure my charts got mixed up with a males, so I had to straighten that out and after my procedure I was given a new script that I could go an fill. Everything was tight and numb. I did everything that the doctor told me to do. I was massaging the area, I was getting lymphatic massages done, walking and eating right. They called me to confirm my one week post op and asked when I would like to come in for my next procedure. The Covid-19 out break alrexplained how I never authorized that and that I wanted a refund. - Which I did get a month later. My inner thighs were initially very numb to the touch. They are still a little numb but very saggy like the surgeon took a little to much fat because now I have an incredible amount of extra skin and it looks creepy like. I also had my banana roll done and thats what bothers me the most. Ive always had a nice looking butt but now I have deep indentation marks an inch or so under where my butt cheek is. (Ive been told now by another plastic surgeon that they wont go away and Im going to need a correction surgery. ) Two and a half months later I get a call asking me when I would like to schedule my next procedure and since Ive already meet with the surgeon they wouldnt have to do another pre op, I told Danielle which I found out later was a manager that I have concerns about the first procedure that was done and want to address my concerns before getting more work done. In addition Ive lost about 12 pounds so maybe I should see the surgeon again but before doing another procedure but that I wanted to address my intial concerns. She said I could email her pictures of my concerns and she said she would schedule a virtual appointment with me AND THE PLASTIC SURGEON. So I sent her the email and I didnt hear anything back for about two weeks. I called in and complained about her not getting back to me and was then scheduled an appointment with a nurse. A few days later I was able to speak with the nurse. I was still wearing my garment at 2.5 months post op and doing everything else mentioned above. She said nothing can be done for me on the indentations marks in banana roll area except to massage them. I do every day and they are still tight and not lighting up, plus underneath of that area its lumpy. I told the nurse that I was told that a massage was to come with my procedure and it would help with recovery, she said that part of the center isnt open and they will call me when it is. She wanted to know if I wanted to schedule my other procedure and at that point I decided I really wanted a refund. How can they schedule me for something when I haven't received the correct post op care in the first place? Also now Miami is the epic center of COVID and elective surgery have been cancelled. I have tried reaching out to corporate for the last five weeks, but they have no real way of getting ahold of anyone. I try to call in and then a rep sends a message and noone has gotten back to me. I want a refund on the procedure that I am not getting done. If services aren't rendered then why do I have to pay for them? Why do I have to put my health in jeopardy?
We're sorry to hear this patient is not satisfied with the results of her surgical procedure. Our records indicate Ms. was issued a check for the unused portion of her surgical package on 07.29.20. It should arrive within 3-5 business days.
On 5/27/20 I went in for a consultation and had a great meeting with my sales specialist Ali... I paid my full payment the same day and was told I was a good candidate for treatment. I was made aware that my primary doctor may be contacted because I have high blood pressure but other than that everything was fine. On 7/16/2020 I went to my post op appointment. I was asked multiple times if I was diabetic due to a medicine I am on ( metformin) which I’m prescribed due to PCOS. I was given a blood stick to prove that I wasn’t diabetic. Next the doctor asked what areas I wanted to have done?... I showed him the areas and he said that’s not what was marked down and I probably misunderstood.... I said that was fine if he could just show me what will be done..... after showing me the areas I would have gotten done my doctor told me I may need to get additional surgery because he wasn’t sure if we would go over the allotted amount of fat removal in Ohio( this was also not explained in the consultation).I still said that was fine, I would come back..... there were a few more issues that we ironed out until my doctor came back and made a statement about not getting the exact results I wanted because of my back.... I said oh okay what do you mean? He proceed to ask me if I remember when I was in high school sucking in my stomach to tighten it? I joked back ... no I was skinny in high school and I didn’t have to do that.... he stated well your spine is curved so that area (under my bra line) will only get flat by you trying to rebuild your upper abdominal muscles(which was supposed to be one of my treatment areas) He also told me that I could never get that fixed no matter what I do because of my spine curvature. Leaving the post op I felt very unsure of the surgery because I wouldn’t have continued past my first consultation with Ali if I would have known my back was an issue. I called to cancel my surgery and was referred to my specialist. Ali told me should would call me back and I heard nothing. I called back a few days later and was told she was very busy and hadn’t heard an update from my doctor. I was then asked to text the office number that I called because Ali was in back to back consultations. I tried to text the number twice and received error codes both times. After that I called again on 7/28 and was informed that all of my appointments had been canceled and the receptionist wasn’t sure if I would get a refund. I asked to speak to Ali and once again she was to busy. I then asked for an email address because I would just like to talk to her. I acknowledge that there is a financial agreement stating I would lose 1,995.00$ for cancelling before my pre-op. On the financial agreement it states 100% forfeiture after my physician validates my candidacy during the pre op... I am not validated due to not being able to get the proper treatment due to my back issues and high blood pressure which was high on the day I went in. I spent 6,153.43$ with no problem and would like the difference of 4,158.43$ back. A physician should look at patients before payment because this is false advertising and I now I’m getting the runaround when trying to address the issue.
We have spoken with the patient and she is scheduled to meet with another physician for a second opinion.

I started my services with Sono Bello in September 2019. The procedure was for lipo on my legs/thighs and venus treatment. I have to say not only did I feel everything during the procedure which they swear is not possible, I was in pain for days and my bruising was horrible. I missed over a weeks worth of work when I was told I would be able to return after two days.
After the procedure when the swelling began to go down I started noticing indentations and bumpy areas. I reported this right away and was told to wait it out as everything would fall into place after 4- 5 months of the procedure. After 5 months no improvement was seen at all on my legs from this procedure and they actually looked worst. Now my legs had indents, scars and were lumpy. I was so stressed and distraught by seeing what had been done to my legs. During all this time I was told constantly everything will even itself out you just need to get the Venus treatments done, etc. etc. They couldn't offer to go back in because the doctor that had done my procedure was no longer with their company...how convenient!! Well after much convincing, I purchased Venus sessions which did nothing and in speaking with the tech who was doing the treatments, she told me that what happened to my legs is very common there and most women have to go to another doctor/facility and pay thousands of dollars to get it corrected. I was shocked that their own employee would say these things to me. She even referred me to two doctors herself.
I understand that I agreed to get this procedure done which cost me almost $6,000 and I expected reasonable results but what I ended up with and the fact that after February with COVID I have not been able to speak to anyone, no return calls or emails from this facility and I have tried many times. This is unacceptable. MY legs are ruined and no one is owning their part in this company. I never finished the Venus treatments that I paid for due to COVID and never heard back from anyone!!
We're sorry to hear this patient is not satisfied with the results of her surgical procedure. We'll be reaching out shortly to schedule Ms. an appointment to be evaluated by her board-certified plastic surgeon. She may also reach out to the center directly to schedule an appointment. We look forward to working with Ms. towards a resolution.
Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because they want me to meet with their medical director which I have done already and he basically said there was little they could do to remedy my situation and concerns. Any further procedure may make it worse and not better. I have provided photos of what these areas look like now so you can see but prefer they remain private out of respect for me. I need to seek better medical help to repair the damage they have caused. They should own their responsibility and just refund me the monies I spent so that I can hopefully try to get some normalcy to the treated areas instead of looking like I have elephant disease.
Sincerely
We are sorry to hear that this patient is not happy with her results.? She purchased and received surgery with a board certified plastic surgeon and during her consultation with the surgeon, reviewed risks, benefits, and expectations. We are happy to discuss other options for body contouring for this patient but the services she purchased were delivered. Our management team is waiting for Ms. to return their call to further discuss her concerns.
Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:Although I understand their claims on what is illustrated on their agreement, I never approved for them to touch my hips or buttocks which is where most of the issues are. They cancelled follow up appointments with me and when I saw their Medical Director he himself stated that not much could be done and it was unfortunate that the doctor who performed my procedure was no longer with their company and didn’t do his part properly. I have text messages with an employee of Sonobello practically guaranteeing I would be happy with my results convincing Me to move forward with the procedure when I was second guessing and wanting to cancel. She went as far as to send me pictures of other patients and their results.
I do not feel that these are ethical or good business practices and am surprised at the responses received. There is no interest or care in a resolution even though they caused damaged to areas that should not have been touched. I have the pictures to prove everything I have said. I have the statement from one of their own techs saying many clients have complained and demanded their money back so apparently I am not alone. If they are a reputable company they would work with me on a resolution which clearly stated by their own Director there is nothing they can do to rectify the damage done so I would need to go elsewhere. All I am asking is for a refund so that I can get the help I need. At this point I am forced to wear a full shaper garment under my clothing so that I look symmetrical and the indentations are not as noticeable. I cannot wear fitted clothing as the indents are extremely noticeable. This has been my life for months. In the Florida heat I am having to wear extra garments due to their negligence. For these reasons I do not agree with their response and I am hoping they show some compassion and look at helping me versus not caring about the serious life changing damages they have caused me.
Sincerely
Dr G and nurse Adrienne are such wonderful people. My procedure went amazingly well. They were both professional and down to earth. They made it a goal to make me feel comfortable and at ease. Doctor G took his time and explained everything he was doing. I can honestly say this experience has changed my life. Thank you Dr G and Adrienne as well as the rest of the team at Sonobello!!!
I was scheduled for surgery, but was diagnosed with Covid prior to my surgery. I was hospitalized for two weeks. I canceled my surgery date and said I would reschedule. I have since spoken to my family physician who has told me I am not a candidate for plastic surgery. I have requested a refund of my deposit from Sonobello, but they have refused.
Thank you for sharing your concern. After review of the chart we are not finding any documentation of a positive COVID test or notes from a physician outlining non candidacy. In order to protect our busy surgical schedule we require a non-refundable deposit of $995. We ask that the patient give us a call to discuss and provide documentation of the positive testing and non-candidacy.
Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: Sono Bello never requested verification! I have attached my text notification received by *** where I was tested. As for not being a candidate for elective surgery, NO ONE who has been diagnosed with Covid-19 is a candidate for elective surgery! I would think being a medical facility, Sono Bello would know that. This is COVID related issue. Clearly Sono Bello does not make any concessions for this type of unprecedented hardship.
Sincerely
Thank you for providing the additional documentation. It appears the center rescheduled the procedure from June 11th to July 22nd which was over a month from the positive diagnosis. The day prior to the rescheduled procedure the patient cancelled again due to not having enough finances available on her care credit account. As a customer service gesture we will go ahead and make an exception to our refund policy and return her $995.

I went for a consultation in September of 2019, at that time I was told by who I now believe to be a sales representative and not a medical professional that this would help me with my problem areas. She also assured me of the results by parading before and after photos and admitting to having done the procedure herself. She also explained that I would get
“Free” Venus treatments to help smooth out the areas. She explained that this would make sure I would receive my desired results. After paying my initial deposit, I then saw a doctor who explained that I would need to have other areas treated so everything could look “even.” After the initial procedure I went for my first Venus treatment and that is when I was informed that I had scar tissue and it would take more Venus treatments in which I paid an extra $2000 for. I was livid because the possibility of this was not even explained initially. The aesthetician (who is no longer with the company) explained that this happens all the time and that they do not disclose this prior to the procedure getting done. The garment in which they charge exorbitant rates for is made of cheap material which caused me to purchase more if I wanted the “Desired Results.” I found myself having to purchase firming cream which was supposed to help (this was before I was told that this would not work and I had to undergo more Venus treatments). Needless to say, I am out almost $10,000 for a procedure that did not work, my body is scared because the incisions left a mark. I still have the lump that the Venus treatment was supposed to create. My body will never be the same. This is a complete and total rip off, a scam and they should never be allowed to do business. For the amount of money I spent, I could have gotten real results from a reputable plastic surgeon.

I had a liposuction work done almost a year ago and I’m still in pain I was told that this was an easy process that it will take very short time to heal but that is not the case with me I paid them more then $10.000.00 and I’m very concerned that my body won’t heal
This is the exact date of my surgery it was on august 15 2019
Thank you for sharing the concern. We have attempted to reach out and address the concerns with no response. We ask that Mr. please contact us at his earliest convenience to help facilitate resolution.
I have been suffering with gynecomastia since the age of 14 years old. Throughout my upbringing I have been ridiculed and teased because of the way my chest has protruded through my shirts and I have always suffered with being insecure about myself. After attempting to work out and exercise the chest area, I noticed that its more than fat within the chest but glandular tissue that can only be removed by surgery. I decided to trust Sono Bello with removing the glandular tissue and give me some sense of normalcy back to my life. A couple weeks prior to my surgery I consulted with Dr. Tom K who mentioned that he will perform surgery to remove the glandular tissue and liposuction to resolve the gynecomastia issue. On January 25th, 2020 I had surgery performed on me, the procedure was fairly quick, and the doctor reassured me that the fat is gone and my chest will be normal. About a week after surgery I still felt the glandular tissue behind the nipple and was skeptical that the issue was resolved. My wife and I called the facility to express our concern and we scheduled a post op. Prior to the post op we reached out to a board certified surgeon and sent pictures of the chest after surgery and he mentioned that the glandular tissue is clearly there and the doctor was negligent in resolving the issue. My wife and I met with Tom K early February to express our concerns. Tom stated that the gynecomastia issue has been resolved and its due to swelling that it seems like nothing was done. My wife stated that she disagrees and its clear as day that the issue has not been resolved. The doctor became aggravated and showed little to no empathy on our concern and stated that I will have to wait a few months to see results and that he is the doctor he knows what he is doing. My wife said to the doctor that my chest has his name over it and that if it not corrected after a few months then you are liable and accountable, the doctor rudely stated yes and walked about. After two months of chest not showing any results, we called the facility to schedule a time to meet again with the doctor. The office said due to COVID19 they are only doing virtual post op and that I am not able to meet with the doctor, but they will put me on a list. Early May 2020 I called to get an update as to when I can see the doctor, they informed me that he isn’t seeing any patients. I waited another month and they informed me that they are not processing any surgeries and that I would have to wait on their call. I became frustrated and felt as if I am not a priority to Sono Bello at the Orlando location. After countless called and texts back and forth with one of the representatives they started to not respond to me. I reached out to the Tampa office and they informed me that they have started surgeries for a few weeks and not too sure why the Orlando area is not willing to take me in. I finally decided to call again in late June and have a virtual consultation with a nurse and she stated that the fat and tissue is clearly there but she recommended me to wait another few months to see results. I told her that it has already been 6 months and I highly doubt that any changes will happen. She mentioned that they are not doing surgeries at their facility and that I am top of the list when they start. I decided to get a second opinion from a BOARD CERTIFIED Dr. Kenrick S, and he stated that Sono Bello did NOTHING at all to solve gynecomastia, it was as if I wasted thousands of dollars and was thrown to the side as if I don’t matter anymore since I paid for the surgery in full. I felt that Sono Bello is neglecting me and I am not a priority. I called the corporate office and express my concerns, all they did was transfer my call to the facility to speak with the practice manager, however I ended up speaking with a representative. I explained everything to her and she stated that they have started surgery for about a month however my issue is not a priority for them. I became upset and demanded that I need a refund because I feel like I am not valued at Sono Bello and to go through another surgery with them with this type of treatment I may end up worse off and fear for my life being in their hands with my issues. The representative said that im probably not going to get a refund and they she will email the practice manager to call me. I am highly upset, speaking with an actual BOARD CERTIFIED doctor he stated that it should not take 6 months to see results. I do not trust my body with them and would like a refund to have another facility care for my concern. Mind you I had the surgery in January and has expressed my concerns every month since then and now we are approaching August.
We're sorry to hear this patient is not satisfied with the results of his surgical procedure. We understand Mr. has been seen in the center and is currently working with our management team towards a resolution.

I have struggled with the process of getting what I want; the billing dept and drs have two different agendas and are not on the same page.
Be cautious when you are pulled in to their commercial sale. Don’t sign papers!!!
I’m still struggling in getting a procedure; now they want to charge me for all procedures before the scheduled date set by the dr.....
not happy
This review is about the Woburn Sono Bello. I wish I didn't have to even give them one star because they don't deserve it! Due to COVID, I had a phone consultation almost two months ago. I had told the consultant I had a blood disorder. From there, I had my pre-op and surgery booked. Twice I spoke to a nurse (Cherise) who said they were aware of the blood disorder and would let the surgeons know and would call me back if there was a problem. My surgery was booked for 7/18. I had a pre-op scheduled for 7/8. I happened to call right before the appt to see how long it would take and the receptionist Sophia told me I wasn't on the schedule because my surgery was canceled. I told her I was not informed of this and she said the nurse Cherise documented she spoke to me. I asked to speak to Cherise. She didn't call me back until the next day and stated "she spoke to the doctors on 6/16 (mind you, it's 7/9) and was told I was not a candidate due to the blood disorder. When I asked her why I wasn't notified, she said, "I meant to call you but it's been so busy around here". That was unacceptable in my eyes. I had taken time off from work already. I'm ok with not having the surgery for safety issues but I was not informed of the date AND they still had my money! If they knew my surgery was canceled on 6/17, why wasn't my money refunded (mind you, it was over $10,000!). It took me calling corporate several times to finally get it refunded (1 month after canceling my surgery). The only person who was helpful was the person I initially consulted with, who was Brittany ***. Everyone else was dismissive and rude. That tells me they are only in it for the money. Beware!
I was asked to put a $1000.90 deposit on a surgery I was going to have but when a personal matter came up and I decided I wanted to cancel my appointment and do a refund for a services I was not going to haveI was told they could just “hold” my money until I decided at some point in the future if I wanted to do this.. I was also told multiple times somebody would call me back about a refund but nobody has contacted me. I would like to resolve this issues by getting refunded for a surgery I am not having. From my first appointment with the customer rep and by the time I called to cancel this surgery was within the same week. I had no problem taking my debit card out and putting a deposit down for a surgery I wanted so it seems unethical and odd to not give a refund to a customer who is not only not having the surgery but a customer who hasn’t even had met with the doctor for a preop.. I felt uncomfortable with the reviews I saw about the company and then extremely uncomfortable about how they handled this particular situation I just feel like after this I would never do a surgery with this company.. very unethical
In order to ensure we protect our surgical schedules and our physician time, we state clearly in our financial agreement that a non-refundable deposit is taken when booking a surgical appt. Not only is it highlighted but the patient is also required to initial next to the statement and sign the form. In an effort to resolve we have been in contact with the patient directly on next steps.
I received a quote over the phone of area I would potentially want to service so the admin simply said that she would just add them all to the quote. No big deal so I ended up going in for a consult to have a doctor look at my skin and give a better evaluation. After the consult I was taken to the admin office and they close the door to offer me lower pricing if I pay using a credit card instead of care credit. Major pressure on me and aggressive selling. I didn’t come in to buy anything I came in to get an opinion if I would be a good candidate.
They won me over and said they would put my card on file. I had no time to think. I tried backing out of the deal before I left but Stephanie came back out to tell me that I have a really good unbeatable deal. I tried called the next day to tell her that I changed my mind and I would rather not move forward. She said well just come in for the Pre op. And we can discuss it then and we can give you a refund at that time. I said ok.. I later called the following day to speak with someone and asked if I could just do my arms instead - she said sure we will give you a refund. After that my new quote came via email and the price was doubled. I replied to her saying the quote I received Did not match. She then replied yes, if you only get one are the price jumps up. I was not aware of that!
I feel that I was taken advantage of , I did not feel well informed, and I’m already unhappy prior to them touching me. I rather receive a full refund and take my money else where!
I had a procedure done in august 2018 and I got completely botched. I went back on 7-2-20 just so they can try to convince me that it looks great but that I now need a tummy tuck. This makes me so frustrated because in my initial consultation I was told I did not need a tummy tuck due to not having any muscle damage. Ive been keeping up with exercise and eating super clean. I wear compression garments and my stomach still looks super flabby and loose. Today when I went back for a revision I felt super insulted. The doctor was passive aggressive and rude she even said She even said
" if you go to a vegan restaurant and ask for meat they obviously won't have it there" and I said "if I went to a vegan restaurant and they didn't have meat I would take my money somewhere where they did, but no one ever told me this was a vegan restaurant or that I needed a tummy tuck until today" I feel like they took my loan knowing that my results were going to be bad and now all of a sudden I need a tummy tuck? I just want to fixed and I want to have the results I was promised
Thank you for sharing the concern. As part of our commitment to patient satisfaction we perform revisions at no charge for the first year after surgery. The patient did not attempt to reach out and address her concerns for 18 months at which time we were still amenable to honor our satisfaction commitment if warranted and set her up with an appointment to be evaluated by the physician. Ms. results have been reviewed by multiple physicians who agree she achieved a great results and her desire for a completely flat stomach would require a tummy tuck procedure that Sonobello does not perform. The practice manager has been working with Ms. on alternative resolutions with our non surgical treatments.
Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
Sincerely
My inital consultation was not with a plastic surgeon but with a consultation specialest. They only let you see the plastic surgeon after you make the full payment and have to sign something saying you wont get any of your money back.
Pre op appointment and meeting with the surgeon I discuss my concerns and actaully being cut open. I explained how when I meet with the consultation specialist she said she had the procedure done and had a little scare that her low rise underware would cover. The surgeon explained to me how it would be from one hip bone to the other and because of the desired results that I want both of my procedures would have to be done at different times. I had explained to him that if I knew that the scare was that long I would of decided againt the procedure with talking with the one lady initially.
They called me to confrim my one week post op and asked when I would like to come in for my next procedure. The Covid-19 out break already happened and I was hesitant to come in but figured I should see someone because of the extense tightness I was experiencing and told them I wasnt comfortable with the other procedure due to the COVID sitution.
The nurse that I had my appointment with asked me to sign a sales receipt for the remainder of the balance ( the extra location the surgeon thought that I should get done) and I explained how I never authorized that and that I wanted a refund. - Which I did get a month later
(Ive been told now by another plastic surgeon that they wont go away and Im going to need a correction surgery. )
Two and a half months later I get a call asking me when I would like to schedule my next procedure and since Ive already meet with the surgeon they wouldnt have to do another pre op, I told Danielle which I found out later was a manager that I have concerns about the first procedure that was done and want to address my concerns before getting more work done.
I have tried reaching out to corporate for the last three weeks, but they have no real way of getting ahold of anyone. You have to call in and then a rep sends a message and noone has gotten back to me. I want a refund on the procedure that I am not getting done. If services aren't rendered then why do I have to pay for them?
I signed for a treatment and was told there is a non-negotiable fee that may not be refunded. I do not think this policy is fair, but I did sign, however services were not rendered. Also now to cancel I need to go In and sign papers after I have been harassed for wanting to cancel. Why can they not email me the cancellation papers and I can sign and return
The patient has been refunded
