I bought my Sharp MW Oven ( R-451ZS ) 6 month back from a Canadian store , since last month it sparks from inside what ever we put in the MW Oven. I called sharp and they opened a Case no 8985642 after two days I get a call from a Rep Patricia M that I have to mail this MW Oven to USA in order for them to see it, which I believe is a joke sending 1.3 Cubic ft Oven almost 8 KG in weight to USA with my expense . I ask her to connect me with higher authority and she said I am the atmost power authority and there is no one on top of me so therefore I have to talk to her only which I cannot believe that in the entire sharp company she reports to no one other then herself. The Rep does not understood what ever I said and explained my situation, she keep saying that why I bought this MW Oven at the first place. I bought it because I liked the model.
Please someone help I do not know whom to contact or where to go in order to fix my MW Oven.

I bought a large tv from sharp for my church. I turned the TV on and it immediately turned off and never turned on again. Turns out it was defective. I called Sharp about the issue and they sent out a tv technician to see what was up. He said the new TV was broken. Sharp’s way if rectifying this was to send me a refurbished TV. I told them repeatedly, after many many phone calls, that I wasn’t paying full price for a refurbished tv. If there was some sort of refund along with it that might be ok, but to pay full price for something that was either previously owned or was somehow defective in the past isn’t fair or honest. So be warned, if you do get a TV from sharp, pray that it works fine out of the box. If not they will pass off their spare parts to you to resolve your complaints and take your money as they do it.

I purchased a Sharp Roku TV in 2015 and not long after the 1 year MFG. warranty expired everthing went wrong with this TV. I paid over $400.00 in repairs. Currently, the TV is still not working even after replacing the LED lights, Main Board, and TCON board. The screen is black and there is no sound. I also bought the TV new and paid $479.00, so I am out 879.00 total and need another TV. In error I thought Sharp might stand by their products and at least do something to help since practically every main part in the TV had to be replaced in the last 2 years. Evidently, either they use very cheap parts or sell defective TVs. They were completely unwilling to help and corporate offices just reconnected me to their general customer service call centers, the last one was Mexico City. I was brushed off. I personally would not recommend Sharp, and I would not buy any of their products. The worst customer service experience ever, and the worst TV I have ever owned, plus being one of the most expensive.

I'm giving Sharp a very generous 1-star review for the piece of trash 55 inch LED Smart TV that I bought just a year and a half ago.
About two months ago, my TV screen began intermittently showing black and white lights followed by black and colored, horizontal lines moving up and down the screen which gradually became worse until the television was no longer viewable.
I called Sharp and explained the problem with the TV and the fact that I had it professionally installed and trouble-shot by my installer who recommended I call Sharp to see what they would do for me.
Sharp's answer was for me to call a local tv repair company that they would recommend at MY expense. Are you kidding me? I ask them if it is unreasonable for me to expect my 55 inch LED Smart TV to only last 1 year and a half? Is that what I can expect of Sharp products? Of course they put me on hold to think about it and ultimately they offered to escalate my issue. I thanked him very much and waited for a call, because, silly me, I actually thought I got through to them. Two weeks later I called back and was told that the matter was still being reviewed and that is handled by a different area. I asked if I could talk to someone from that area. He put me on hold again and then came back to offer me the number of a TV repair company in my area that could come and look at the machine - again - at MY expense. Seriously? After many apologies and several phone calls, much time on hold with their annoying piano music, which I swear is designed to get people to give up waiting and hang up, ultimately, this was all they offered me. I said thank you very much; I will not do that for what is obviously a poor quality product (backed-up by other poor reviews on Yelp). I will just post my review and thoughts on-line if that is the best you can do for me. Is that all you can do for me? He said yes! Unbelievable. No thank you Sharp!
When preparing to post a review on Yelp, I learned that I'm not the only person who has experienced this very same issue with a Sharp LED TV. The symptoms were identical. How disappointing that Sharp will not be honest about that and stand by their product.
To add insult to injury, I see that Sharp has a Revdex.com rating of F! I guess that says it all.
I learned a very good lesson at least - next time I will read more product reviews BEFORE buying a product based on a well-known name.

I purchased a Sharp over the counter microwave from Best Buy about two weeks ago. After I purchased few days, the glass turntable chipped off on one side and after another few days the glass turntable chipped off on anther side. Either the turntable has design issue or the turntable is defective when I purchased it. Then I called the manufacturer which is Sharp USA's customer service yesterday trying to get a new turntable but the agent told me it is physical damage. They can't replace it, I have to purchase it. This is ridiculous! This is obviously their product issue, they need to help me to resolve it.

As a courtesy a replacement tray has been ordered for the customer. They should receive it in 3-5 business days via FEDEX.

I have been a Sharp customer for over 35years. I bought my first convection oven 35 years ago and it lasted me over 14 years, all I had to do was replace the heating element. I purchased another one, with the same outcome. My current convection oven has caused me nothing but trouble. I have had it serviced twice but it still is not heating correctly. Over the last year I have communicated with Sharp Australia ( and to people in Malaysia) with today being my last call. The outcome is that I take my oven to another repair man at my cost. It has been a continual roundabout with going twice to service people and talking with Sharp. The final out come was a call from the Manager (I am not legally allowed to use a name) stating if the repairer said everything is ok with my oven they would go no further. He said he was the Manager and no one else would take my call, he also stated if I wanted to send an email to complain the outcome would be the same. Shame on Sharp for not valuing a consumer who has had nothing but compliments about their product. Obviously being a loyal consumer means nothing. Sharp are a huge company and as 1 consumer a complaint does not mean anything. I am very disappointed with my negative outcome.

I bought a microwave from Sharp and within less than six weeks I was cooking a potato in the microwave caught on fire luckily nothing else happened I called the company to find out how I could get a replacement or refund and I spent 3 1/2 weeks speaking with them every other day they would tell me one thing to go and do to get a refund and I would go and do it and I'd come back and They would then say well that's not good enough you need to do something else it's been run around after run around they are refusing to replace or refund the people that you talk to on the phone have a script and that's all they do is sit there and read the script over and over you could ask them if the sky was blue and they would read something from their script it was insanity talking to these people I have not been this angry in my life and I don't know what to do I know, first world problem I should let it go but they requested a certain piece of information and I got it to them and then they said it's missing some other information they never told me to get that other information I cannot get that other information now because they have drawn this thing out past the date of getting the information from the other store that I bought this microwave from I'm basically stuck, they will not do anything so my advice to you do not buy sharp electronics unless you have tons of money and don't care when it breaks down in less than two months and you can just run out and buy another one I unfortunately cannot
