Nothing was offered I want a refund as they promised they would not update my firmware from 4.4.4 to 5.0 which they did I told the man who I entered into a verbal contract with that if they were going to update my firmware refund my money and cancel the order he assured me that no update would occur. My phone went to the with 4.4.4 on it and came back with 5.01. Regards,

The agent informed Mr. [redacted] that the warranty for the device is a service based warranty however Mr. [redacted] still refused to send in the device for service. Mr. [redacted] informed the agent that he was unhappy with the information provided and stated that he will continue his complaint until Samsung resolves the issue. The agent advised Mr. [redacted] that unfortunately at this time, service is the only option available for the device. Regrettably other than in warranty service offered for the device, no additional accommodations can be made for this claim. I am rejecting this response because: I was available to get the call and the agent who tried to assist me made matter worse. I was unable to get the home screen back on my phone and he said I had to accept to unlock my screen for him which I never had to do before and this may have caused problems. I am requesting that Samsung send me a new phone so that I can send this defective one back because their agents have caused me so many problems with this device and now it is not working properly at all.
