I went here because They had free towingWhen they got my car they had it for four days and I hadn’t gotten a call or anything so I called and talked to the receptionist Jason which told me he had to take it apart to see what was wrong with it and would be an automatic $and would also be put toward my repair so I said okayTurned out I needed a new clutch and Jason told me I should get a performance clutch because of the kind of car I have so I asked how much it would be and he said 430$ for the clutch kit so I asked what brand it is and he said it’s made by Luk or epeny(that’s what it sounded like he said) so I agreedAfter five days going past I called and no answer and called again and no answerWhen Jason finally answered he said he left me a message but I know he did not cause I didn’t have a voicemailThey were trying to get me to rebuild my transmission even though it moved just fine so I said noWhen I left Jason said he would call me the next day with the clutch done(clutch job should be no more than a two day job) and did notI called them and no answerI let a couple days go by and then called again and he said they forgot to replace the rear main seal and had to take it apart again after putting it back mostly togetherAfter having my car done it was having a shifting problem and needed new cables which I was going to do myself but after going in a talking with them I had them do it insteadAfter it was all paid and done about a week goes by and my front passenger suspension starts making a clunk noise and was getting worse so after some deep thought and really not wanting to deal with Jason, I called a family friend that owns a big o tire and she said bring it inTurned out that tanner left a cradle bolt loose and it was about to fall out
I also had found out that they installed a oriellys clutch(the cheapest one) in my car and had charged me about twice the price than what you can get it from oreillysThe way I found out is they gave me my old clutch in the the box and when I confronted Jason he said no we don’t use those and that was a box that was just laying around so I asked him to give me the receipt for the place they received the clutch and the brand and he said he would email it to me which he never didI called oreillys and they do have an account with them and probably use oreillys because of their lifetime warrantySo in the end I paid 1700$ for a very cheap clutch that wasn’t put back together all the way and I never had gotten a call from them I only talked with them when I called or went inI was so fed up with Jason that I decided to let it go and just give a review and warn people of the way this company runs

My vehicle has been in there for times still does not work they refused to replace the money or fix the vehicle then trying to contact the president of the building he will not contact me back or he's not in his office

Tanner Transmissions in Draper is a great service center! We were having a reoccurring issue with our transmission over a month period We had multiple mechanics/repair shops attempt to find the problem, each were unsuccessful Tanner Transmission diagnosed the problem and competed the repairThey were courteous, professional and responsive We are 100% satisfied!

In April of I was told by Bob I could bring my accord down for him to look at and he would tell me what was wrong for freeI told him about my circumstances and he said I could leave it with him for as long as I wantBob informed me my transmission was shot and I should not drive it under no circumstances or it would make it worseBob told me his cost was $to repairI told him I had to think about itI spoke with Bob again and he said he would use the Accord as trade for work on another carwe went back and forth on this and the last thing Bob said was if I pay for the repairs the storage is freeOn February 1st, I called BOB again and let him know I needed an amount for Storage fees, he said well I 'll cut the storage fees in half for you and charge you $Or he said if I give him the title he will waive all feesNext thing I know on 2/BOB hands over my car to my lien company without filed repo for only $ He was going to charge a single mother

I took my vehicle which is a Suzuki Grand Vitara to Tanner TransmissionsThe check engine light was on and an ESP light would come onWhen the ESP light came on my car would take a long time to accelerateI was told by a few mechanics it was an issue with the transmission and would have to take it to a transmission specialist
I spoke with an employee named Nate who was the one working on my carHe said they would have to order and replace the TCM (transmission control module) and the shift solenoidHe said it would take about 6-days for the parts to come in and then to install them it would only take a few hoursHe asked me to pay in advance for the TCM which was $I paid that with my credit card on July Over a week went by and I had not heard from Nate or anyone else at Tanner Transmissions
I waited a few more days and called them simply to check on the status of my car and get an estimated time frame of when I could expect my car backI

I was having transmission problems and was calling around to get prices and spoke to manager at Tanner and was told we would be under the $price and would have your car to you in days We decided to take our car there based on the information received After taking apart the transmission the price is now $more and a week later my car is still not ready This is the perfect example of bait and switch We are stuck dealing with this I will NEVER recommend this business or ever do business with them again!

Very poor unprofessional customer serviceTanner Transmission has took a quarterA QUARTER !!! of the year to fix my vehicleAnd is still not fixed rightThat's right I haven't seen my car in a quarter of a yearPlease!!! I highly recommendDo not go through Tanner Transmission to get your vehicle fixedBecause it will never get fixedTanner Transmission are not professional transmission techniciansThey don't care about you, your family or your vehicleThey just care about putting cheap parts in your car so you'll come back and spend more money to get it fixedThey're all about making quick cashWhen they make a mistake they don't admit itThey always have excusesThey don't man up and own up to realize they have made a mistakeIf I could rate review these guys and put them at negative - STAR it would be all five negative stars for Tanner Transmission

I took a truck in to have the clutch looked at/replaced I was told the job would take 1-days max and given a written estimate After the agreed upon days I called to check in on the truck having not received any updates They didn't even start working on the truck for 3-days The total time it took to get my truck back was full days (I had explained several times to the manager that every day the truck was out of commission was costing me work.) The main reason I took the truck to Tanner Transmission was because they had promised a 1-day turn around time
When I picked up the truck a full days after the initially promised completion date, that afternoon the clutch they replaced was still having issues I took it back and they said that air just needed to bleed out of the line and to let it sit over the weekend, which I did On Monday the issue was still a major problem I took back in and was told they couldn't look at it until later that day I called late

I took my car in to have the transmission replacedI have worked on my car ever since I have owned it and I have managed to get 312k miles out of it on MY workI did not have the time to replace/rebuild my transmission this time so I called around and felt like I could trust This business to properly fix my transmissionI took in the car and they said my transmission needed replacement so they found a used transmission and installed it into my car
When I went to pick up my car there were several things wrongFirst, the brakes were spongy and not applying pressure properly, the clutch felt extremely loose, the clip on the connector for my mass airflow sensor was freshly torn and damaged, but most importantly my turbo was not working properly so my car maxed out at 45MPHWhen I took the car back the mechanic denied all responsibility and stated my car had these problems before I brought it inI could not believe how this little boy instantly started acting like a rude jerk and

I have had a horrible experienceAt first they gave me a max estimate of $then after they took the transmission out and had me on the hook for $they upped the cost to $for the year warrantyAfter arguing with them they dropped the price back to $Since then they have had my truck for months and have messed up the engine witch had no problems when I took it in and now won't run and has to be towedI told them I would take it to another mechanic to have someone who can fix the problem fix it and we would settle on the bill afterNow they are refusing to release my truck until I pay for repair that broke my truck

I had a used transmission installed in MayI drove it off the lot and immediately noticed issues with itI had to bring it back a dozen more times to have a series of tests done and two additional transmissions swapped inWe're currently on #and it's having issues, so I'm in need of a fourthThe manager who was previously handling my service has since been fired, and the owner is attempting to go back on the guarantee I was promised when I bought the transmissionWhich was free parts and service if the transmission didn't workNow, they're trying to charge me for labor to replace itWhen I requested to pay the difference for a brand new one, they wanted to drop the warranty all together and charge me 100% for a new one (an additional $3K in addition to the $3K I've already paid)I've been to their shop for a total of times, and have spent lots of money in rides to and from the shop, and rental cars during the serviceSometimes, the shop ignores that my car is even there,

We acknowledge that we did not meet his original delivery date and that the checks were being delivered to the incorrect address; however, they were located and routed safely back to our office, where we properly disposed of them. The information was never compromisedWe attempted to discount the order for the customer, but he wanted his entire order for free. We cannot do it for free

"missing". I told you they were in transit but couldn't
guarantee a specific, if not immediate delivery date that you did need and that
is why I wanted to place another order whereby I can guarantee the speedy
delivery date at no extra charge to you. Since you cancelled your order,
I had the checks that were in transit rerouted to my office of which they now
sit on my desk. I am shipping them back to the plant for proper secure
disposal as we do with an order that the customer no longer needs.

Went to T*** transmission for an code that my truck was showing They said the transmission had to be removed to "Properly Diagnose" the issue I foolishly agreed, and that's the last time my truck has worked properly Of course they said, "Oh you need to have your transmission rebuilt The fluid is burnt, there's metal fragments in it." Again foolishly, I agreed, and said go ahead They got it done and I came to pick it up A week later I started receiving the exact same code again, on the check engine light Obviously the transmission wasn't the issue Eventually, after about a week of their "crack diagnosis team" having the truck, they decided the truck needed a new computer I believe that that was my ONLY issue, and I should not have needed a rebuild on my transmission After the computer was installed, I went to pick it up, and the back wheels seized up I limped it to the side of the road, about a block from the shop
After this I called and was granted an audie

The first week of September I had my tranmission replaced at the Tanner Transmission located in Sunset Utah, on November I was driving to Las Vegas when the transfer case in my truck blew appartThis happened at 11:PM on the side of the freeway just ibside ArizonaI had to have my truck towed to a SAE certified mechanicBeing the night befoer Thanksgiving I had to leave my truck and get a family member to drive from Las Vegas to pick myself and daughter in the middle of the nightOn Friday I called the shop where my truck was towed to and found out they were not open for business until Monday morningOn Monday morning I called the shop to see what needed to be doneI had to take my key up to him so he could start the repairAfter taking my key and he assessed the issue I was asked if I had had any work done recentlyI answered "why" and was told it looked like the transmission had been replaced recently and the fluid was not replaced and several mounting bolts were not ti
