Review: I placed an order on 2/*/14, according to the company it was shipped on 2/**/14. I have not received my shipment and it is now 2/**/14. The company states that [redacted] picked up the package. However I called [redacted] and they stated Rvinyl purchased the delivery slip but never made arraingments to pick up the item. Rvinyl stated they can not issue me a refund until they receive the order back from [redacted] nor can they send out another order. I called customer service to speak to a [redacted], they stated to me that the [redacted]s do not take phone calls.Desired Settlement: I either want a full refund or want to receive my shipment

Review: I bought a headlight and tail light vinyl film tinting kit from Rvinyl. I applied the tints and after about a month they started to fall off. The vinyl film tint on the headlights has now fallen off. I have now noticed that the vinyl has caused the plastic on my headlights to crack. The plastic has fine cracks throughout and is now damaged, which has been caused by the tint film. I emailed Rvinyl immediately with pictures to show the damage caused. They responded by saying I bought the "Static Cling, no adhesive tint" and that's why they fell off. They didn't even address the main issue, which was the damage caused, and I made it very clear as to what the main issue was. When I was buying the tint kit, no where did it say "static cling, no adhesive." Why would I want to buy something that isn't going to stick? Why would anybody? The whole point is to buy tint to STICK to the lights. I emailed back saying that they aren't addressing the main issue which is the damage caused by the vinyl tint. And they responded by saying the same thing. This is what they said:
"Thank you for your response. We do apologize for the inconvenience. However, you had purchased our Blackout (Static Cling, no adhesive) tint which would explain why the tints fell off. Thank you for your time."
Again, the tints falling off is not the issue. Obviously, it is the damage caused to my car! It is unacceptable to sell a product that can cause damage to your car. My headlights are all cracked now, and I can't even buy new ones because it will cost hundreds, since I would have to buy whole new headlights. This is unbelievable. I emailed back and I am now waiting for a response.Desired Settlement: I at least want my money back. I would like to make them pay for new headlights, but that's probably not possible, even though they SHOULD! This company should be shut down.

Review: I have asked the business (RVinyl) to allow me to return a defective item purchased for a refund. RVinyl has not responded to the last 2 emails I sent.Desired Settlement: I would like the business to accept the return of my defective product (and unused product) for a refund. If the Revdex.com can assist in resolving this issue by getting RVinyl to issue me a refund, that will prevent me from having to take the next step of having to file a small claims lawsuit seeking damages. Thanks for any assistance the Revdex.com can provide.

Response:
Item is not defective and, once used, cannot be returned for a refund. Buyer may return unused bumper kit for a refund less restocking fee and the used item for store credit as outlined in our return policy.

Response:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
The business is incorrect in stating the product is not defective. Emails were sent to the business (with photographs) showing the product did not fit as described. With that being the case, a refund is in order. Also, the other items purchased are suspect because of the quality issue, and therefore buyer desires to return all items for a refund.
It is also important to note that the business has acted in bad faith already, ignoring two emails from the buyer, and prompting the contact of the Revdex.com.
In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.
Sincerely,
Business
Response:
Buyer may return all items for a refund less 20% restocking fee per policy. We are making this exception as a one time courtesy in the interest of providing good customer service

20% restocking fee for defective product is what the business is offering. This is unacceptable. I am having to file a lawsuit in small claims court to recover money I am out plus expenses now. I recommend avoiding doing any business with this company. When you have an issue, they are unresponsive to accept returns.

Review: Purchased tint film for Subaru rearlights. One was defective. Returned both covers and still have not received a refund for the amount paid on my [redacted] card. The total amount was $36.98 posted on May *, purchased online April**,2013. Items were returned one, which was opened and the other not used. I have called them and they refuse to stand by their guarantee, which is online. Their product was defective. I had to pay shipping to return the item, so I am out over $44.00. I just want my money back. They shouldn't advertise full guarantee online if they don't stand by their products.Desired Settlement: Full $36.98 refund to my credit card.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
As previously stated, the item sent to me was defective. Of course it was opened. How am I supposed to install the window tint without opening the package?? It was defective therefore the second tint was NOT opened. Both were returned for credit. They stated in their letter they were offended I called them "[redacted]". If they were a reputable company, they would have sent me the credit over 7 months ago. Instead they have chosen to go back and forth with me, the Revdex.com, my credit card company. Is this a reputable company? I don't agree. For $40.00 they prefer being obstinate. Not good customer relations. Very disappointed with this company and their lack of customer service and backing their guarantee. As far as I'm concerned, I'm out $40.00 and they have their product back. It is as if I just threw away that money. Being a regular person on a fixed income, that money is quite a bit to lose.

The fact that she has resorted to calling us liars doesn't add to her credibility nor incline us to offer any further courtesy than this response.
Review: I purchased a window tinting kit and decided to return it. They gave me an RMA number and I sent it back to them and I never received a refund. Now they claim I sent it back without an RMA even though I gave them the number and the tracking number showing they received it back. They kept the money and the product and offered no resolution. Just stole my money. Desired Settlement: I just want my money back since they got their product back and I gave them the proof they got it back.

Response:
The buyer's claim was denied by [redacted] because they returned an item after our 30 Day returns period had expired and the item did not include the RMA that needs to be printed and attached. As a result, his return was never processed.
We have since issued him a credit in the amount of a complete window tint kit on our site as a courtesy (a value of $39.99) even though. Despite this, he has left us a negative review on [redacted] and continues to harass us. Under the circumstances the credit we extended is best we can offer.
