Guest stayed our hotel and they had four room reserved via Expedia.com. We charged Expedia credit card for four room individuals for each rooms. We haven't...

charge guest credit card $531.42 So I am 100% disagree with any refund on this situation. Guest paid directly to Expedia. Any refund come to guest that would be from Expedia. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Mr S[redacted] did not answer or address any of the issues in the complaint.  The Health Department told me they do not govern "whirlpool jet tubs"  only public pools and eating facilities.  I  was also told this hotel's pool was closed down due to many complaints.  The restaurant and bar on site are also closed down but they still falsely advertise they are operating.  Mr [redacted] most certainly did complain, both to Mr S[redacted] (but under alias) and also to the [redacted] 800#.  Mr [redacted] most certainly did receive a refund because Mr S[redacted] was completely wrong and completely runs a shady business.I most certainly did use "mary" to get S[redacted] to answer a question as he, his wife, and another woman repeatedly refused to give me a contact number and repeatedly hung up on me.That is fine that he rented the room to other guests; however, those guests mean nothing to me, they may not have even used the whirlpool jet tubs.  Mr S[redacted] would not even go into the room with us to address the whirlpool tub issue.  All he could say was "call mr Anglar in the daylight".Mr s[redacted] continually lied, gave false names.I absolutely did not complain at 2am.  We did not expect anything to be done at 2am when we finished using the tub and noticed the bacteria residue along the tub until it drained.  I asked mr S[redacted] what would have been done differently at 2am that couldnt be handled at 9am and he said he would have sent maintenance, they are there 24 hours.  I ABSOLUTELY DID NOT WANT MAINTENANCE IN MY ROOM AT SUCH AN HOUR.  S[redacted] is compeltely insane to even suggest I want a stranger in my room at 2 a.m and that the complaint couldnt be dealt with in the "DAYLIGHT"i DO NOT appreciate his behaviour, his reply and I certainly do not appreciate his shady way of doing business.    I would love to discuss this in much detail over the phone.  [redacted] hotel after much run around and much lying, and much hanging up on us finally gave us  FULL REFUND which I appreciate, but that does not prevent the next person from harm.

I am rejecting this response because: IT IS A LIE. We reserved 6 rooms from the Clinton Ramada on 7-15-17. They charged us for the 6 rooms the next morning. Then later Expedia charged us for the rooms. We asked Ramada to refund the money they were paid by Expedia and they refused. They said it was Expedia's fault because we reserved the rooms thru them. Expedia said it was Clinton Ramada at fault that they would have refund the money .ANYWAY .......CLINTON RAMADA WAS PAID TWICE FOR THE SIX ROOMS (AT OUR EXPENSE) AND THEY KNOW THIS. IT IS AN OUTRIGHT LIE.  SCAM IS MORE LIKE IT AND I WILL MAKE SURE IT IS POSTED ON SOCIAL MEDIA

Review: last yr I filled a complaint because the hotel would not rent to me because I ive in the same town I was trying to give my wife a small honey moon she was disabled and thought it would be nice after my complaint they gave us a two night stay, we had a great time a nice dinner a few drinks and she swam in the pool which helped her legs, my wife passed in jan I tried getting a room tonight for fri and sat the movie theater is right next door and my two kids want to see Star Trek Beyond I was told once again no I asked them to check there records and explained my case I was told no and the person was very rude I have a full time job and retired usaf I don't have a lot of money but thought a movie a nice pool would make them happy my kids miss my wife and I was trying to do something nice it was there step mom but I kinda wanted to relaxe see a movie and treat them iam very upset with how I was treatedDesired Settlement: understand I did twenty yrs in the usaf I have a full time job and have never been in trouble a day in my life I was just simply trying to treat my kids to a place I once respected

Review: Checked into the hotel room they assigned to us. The room was in horrendous condition. I'm not provided with enough room to list all the issues. The front desk staff was smoking when checking us in. No cancellation or refund was offered when I reported the issuse within 15 min of check in. No return calls from their corporate office after filing a complaint either.Desired Settlement: Complete refund.

Review: In July, my family went to Pittsburgh to 2 amusement parks. The hotel room at another facility that we had booked was not acceptable. So we called around while in Pittsburgh, to find a new hotel. We chose the Ramada/Clarion based on the information listed on their website and also price. The hotel was under construction when we arrived. The first room they tried to give us was dirty. That is only the beginning of the nightmare with this hotel. The next day we missed the continental breakfast because we had an old hotel book in our room. When we returned that day from the amusement park, we found that our room was not cleaned, nor was their any clean towels. The first night there we called down to the office about a broken toilet seat. Do to the issue not being resolved we were given one night for free. Also the pool was closed because of the water turning green. One of the other reasons we decided to stay there because of the kids having something to do when we were done with our daily activities. On night #3, after returning from the 2nd amusement park, we got ready to go to a nice dinner, and when my girlfriend went to use the restroom found that the toilet seat had still not been fixed, This not being handled caused an injury to her thigh, instant bruise. We reported it, but because we had paid cash was told that we would have to wait for the owner to reimburse up. I have made approximately 8 calls since the beginning of August about a refund, and not once after leaving messages for the owner, has our phone call been returned. We stayed from July 10th, 2014 thru July 13th, 2014. The assistant manager was very understand and seen the bruise on my girlfriends leg. But was unable to give us a refund, because we paid cash. Her name was [redacted]. We also were not the only ones dissatisfied this particular weekend, many people were and some didnt even check in.Desired Settlement: WE are seeking a refund in the amount of $85.49, the cost for one night stay there. I feel this is only right. We do have pictures of the toilet seat broken and the bruise to her leg.

Review: My daughter and I stayed in the Clarion hotel in Pittsburgh, PA, July 19th. By the time we reached the hotel, which was very difficult to locate as there were no visible signs,it was fairly late at night. Upon our arrival,we noticed the hotel was undergoing a major renovation,but it was so dark that we did not think the hotel was even open for business. We did notice some cars, so we parked and walked in to a side door. Upon entering the hotel, there was garbage, and a stench of alcohol. The makeshift check-in area was a room that was a huge mess. There was a woman working behind the computer, who never looked at us, never welcomed us, and was not in any type of uniform. She asked my name,found our reservation and handed us a key. She never indicated where our room was, nor did she thank us for coming. When we arrived at the room, we barely walked in and we noticed that the room had not been cleaned. We schlepped our bags back down to the check-in desk area and advised the woman that the room was not clean. Her response, REALLY? She did not offer an apology, she just handed us a new room key and said, Here. We went up to the new room, the room numbers were makeshift on the door and falling off. Had it not been so late and the fact that we were exhausted, I would have left immediately. The room, while the beds were made up, was not very clean. The stained carpet needed to be vacuumed and bathroom was not very clean. The wifi in the room also did not work. We ended up sleeping fully clothed, so that none of our skin was touching the bedding. As soon as we got up and ready, we left. On our way out, we stopped into the office to let them know we were checking out, and again, there was a non-uniformed girl working there, never even thanked us; all she said to us was,OKAY. I have never stayed in a worse hotel; absolutely AWFUL! At no time was there any indication of renovation. The hotel is very dirty and unsafe; the staff was terrible, unfriendly and unprofessional. It shouldnt be open.Desired Settlement: A full refund for the price we paid.
