I have spent two years trying to cancel this subscription without success. Company is persistently unhelpful.
I have tried for two years to cancel this subscription, which is sending me a box of cat litter every month. It is piling up and I don't like it. When I try logging onto the website it does not recognize my email addresses and won't send me a new password even though I have been sent emails to this address telling me kindly that they are taking my money again. The company has not been helpful.
I want them to cancel my subscription and stop charging me for this mediocre product. I would be happy never to see another bag of Pretty Litter, or to hear of its existence again in my life.

The product itself is great, but they go out of their way to make it difficult to manage your subscription.
It helped me detect early on that my cat had crystals forming in her bladder. I do love the product for that.
My issue, and the reason for the two stars, is that there is no transparency when it comes to managing your account. They say you can manage your subscription on their website, but I've never been able to successfully do this. When I try to log in normally it says I don't have an account. When I try to sign up (the only way to do this is to start processing an order) it says I already have an account. I sign in during checkout and it brings up my address and information but no way to alter my subscription.
I canceled my subscription before for a personal reason, and when I did that I had to email back and forth with customer support. I hoped to restart my subscription but I won't do so without feeling empowered to manage my own account.
They should really reconsider this process.

Thank you for the reset link. I was able to access my account again afterwards. I continued to get the error that I didn't have an account the next day, but resetting my password *** (even though it was right) seemed to resolve it. The message can be confusing, but I know you may not have total control on the wording of an error.

I only found out when I received an email saying my order had been shipped, I called and they told me that they would not refund my card even though I did not authorize this purchase. They said that when I clicked authorize the transaction it says it automatically signs me up for a subsription monthly and that if I want to return the product I will have to wait until I receive the item shipped and then send it back to them but they would make me pay for shipping (even though I never authorized them to charge my card again and send me the product).. I do not want a subscription and the customer service person only kept reading their "terms" to me each time I told them to cancel it

"By clicking "Place my order", you confirm that you have read our Terms & Conditions and are purchasing a monthly subscription that will automatically renew and your payment method will be billed the undiscounted subscription price specified in the Order Summary each month until you cancel your subscription (prices subject to change). You may cancel or change your subscription anytime through your online account."
That being said, your second month's order has been refunded; please allow 3-5 days for the refund to reflect in your account. Since the order has already shipped out, please feel free to keep it to share PrettyLitter with a friend or donate it to your local shelter. Thank you!
I've been using Pretty Litter for my 1 year old cat, Chief O'Brien. I've used clay litter in the past, and I really like not having to change it every week. Also, it's easier on my sinuses, since it doesn't create as much dust as clay does. Sometimes, Chief tracks some of the crystals onto the bathroom floor, but they're pretty easy to sweep up. I've also found that the litter stays fresh longer if I don't use a plastic litterbox liner. Haven't had any issues with customer service. Would absolutely recommend!

Product is defective - Product claims are fraudulent. Their customer service refuses to cancel the service and continues to charge my credit card.
On February 28, 2019 I ordered cat litter from this business based on their claims of it indicating possible health issues for my older cat. The product shipped several days later and arrived around March 10. We started using it and there was no color change to indicate any issues.
On March 28, I received an email at 4:05 am EST: "Thank you for your order! You'll receive another email when your order ships with tracking information." My credit card was charged $80 for four bags of litter. Their website says I only need two bags for two cats for one month. I responded by email at 7:12 am EST the same morning to cancel the order. When I did not receive a reply I called the company at 12:17 pm EST which is 9:17 PST in Los Angeles. The person answering at first declined to help me. I persisted and she said she would look into it. Later that day I received a response that it was too late to cancel as it had already shipped but she refused to provide a tracking number. She did say that they would cancel future shipments and asked what I would like them to do. I responded by telling them to cancel all shipments and refund $80. The product did not actually ship until March 30, two days later than she claimed.
On March 29, we took out cat to the vet and found it had significant issues with it's bladder and there was considerable blood in the urine. Our Vet looked at the Pretty Litter website claims and said the litter should definitely have indicated these issues if it worked as claimed.
On April 28, I received a notice that they have shipped another order and charged my credit card another $80. I responded by email that all orders were cancelled and I was still waiting for my refund for the previous order that was cancelled. They have not responded to me.
I expect a refund of $240 to my credit card. $160 for product that sent after I cancelled and $80 for the initial order that did not work as claimed.

We provide extensive instructions regarding the importance of mixing the litter and monitoring any perceived color changes for 48 hours. While our refund policy is generally dependent on the return of products paid, we have gone outside these terms to best address your needs.
We understand that we dropped the ball on your cancellation request and have issued refunds for the February and March orders, for a total of $140.00. It appears a chargeback has been initiated for the the April purchase, so the refund was not able to process. If you would like to drop that dispute, please send us an email to let us know and we can proceed with issuing that (***@prettylitter.com) to complete your request. We can confirm that your subscription is cancelled effective today, May 2nd, 2019.

I bought 4 bags of Pretty Litter after seeing multiple Facebook ads and reading reviews on their website. They arrived, I opened one bag and put it into a litter box, and the next day the house was covered in very sharp crystals of litter. I have 7 cats and 7 litter boxes, I know how to keep litter boxes tidy and I have mats around every box, I've never experienced any litter this messy. Their customer support person wrote me back a day later suggesting I put my litter box "in a kiddy pool" or building a wall of cardboard boxes around it. At this point, even after vacuuming the whole house, I had a piece of this litter stuck in my foot and had to have it extracted by a doctor. I told this to the customer service person, said this was not what I wanted to do with my litter boxes and that I simply wanted to return the unopened bags of litter, and he responded that I could return them at my own cost and wouldn't get a full refund - this was after buying them with a "100% satisfaction guarantee". At that point I put a review on their website, which they removed. This is a very bad company, I'm fairly convinced at this point that they are a scam and are removing negative reviews from their site.

I contacted the Pretty Litter company and left them a email message and telephone message that I wanted to cancel my account immediately. This was five months ago, just the other day there was a package delivered to me. When I opened the package, with no company name on the outside of the package, it turns out to be Pretty Litter. So I again had to leave a message with email and by telephone. It has been a week and no one has returned my messages. They need to STOP! Taking money out of my credit card and STOP! sending me kitty litter since I no longer have a cat.

Pretty Litter sent a shipment totaling $213 to me WITHOUT authorization ..Thats ware it starts !
I was sent an emai from Pretty Litterl telling me my order has shipped ..I immediately call them and explain I did not sign up for auto shipment and explained to the original customer rep. that I DID NOT want auto ship because I was just trying there product and I will decide if I wanted to continue use .I was explicit about this ... I told them I wanted a refund immediately .. They told me ..I was responsible for there products return and safe keeping ..and will get a refund as soon as it was picked up ! The product was picked up by FedEx March 3rd. They told me to contact them and they will refund which I did ...NOW they said I needed a confirmation of pick up which I did not receive from FedEx and now PrettyLitter refuses to refund money they had NO authority to take !
I want my $213 back now ! I have a small animal rescue and every penny earned goes to the senior and wounded and sick animals in my care.
To help me with this refund and to let other consumers be aware of there practice .

I was forced to order a bulk product with customer service... I explicitly told this person I DO NOT WANT a monthly delivery because it was just a trial for me to decide .
3 weeks later they remove over $200 from my account saying my order is on the way !
I'm furious..I call more than once and numerous emails and going on 3 weeks STILL DO NOT HAVE MY MONEY BACK !! They tell me when the courier returns the product they will refund ! WHY DO I HAVE TO PAY FOR THERE MISTAKES?!?!
It's called STEALING from the consumer !
I am a small senior animal rescue with no public support every penny goes to animals.
I was forced to cancel a vet appointment because of there mistakes!
I am also going to contact Attorney General and file a complaint!

The previous comment stated that a full refund was already processed for you. Eventhough you the total order was delovered to your front door, PrettyLitter fully refunded you for it.
Once again...I did NOT order this product !!! 2.They should have NOT sent ! 3. Still have not received MY MONEY back which should have never been deducted out of my bank account because of thete mistake ! This mistake has caused me AND the animals in my care to suffer ! This is NOT OK by any means ! I am so sick and tired of paying for big companies mistakes !!! And once again I do not care about other individuals who buy thete product !
Sandy, you did order the product. You said above in your first comment that you ordered your first order in bulk from customer service. PrettyLitter is a subscription service. It's stated on the website that it is a subscription and you have to acknowledge that it is a subscription before you press the order button on the website. But no problem, you ordered directly from customer service so perhaps there was a miscommunication during ordering. Once the second order in the subscription was sent, you said you wanted it canceled, and since then your money has been fully refunded back to you and you could also keep the large order sent to you free of charge. Your card was refunded on Mar 18, 2019 at 5:13 pm PST. Some card's banks take 2 to 4 business days.
Customer service is amazing. They heard about my cat's UTI and how PrettyLitter detected it, and they sent over a gift for her and a top off bag of PrettyLitter. I've been with them now for 4 months and it's my favorite litter ever. Great company.

This company will not cancel my subscription to their Pretty Litter product, even though I have a valid reason not to purchase it anymore. I've called & been on hold 1/2 hour without any acknowledgement; I've emailed & they keep sending me cute suggestions on how to adapt their product; & I tried their online chat to no avail. I can now update my original review and say that Pretty Litter finally cancelled my subscription. It took leaving a not so positive rating here at the Revdex.com to get them to cancel & close my account. Thank you to Marissa for acting on my behalf. Final review = 3.5 stars.
I purchased this product and it didn't live up to the claims. It didn't last the month, it smelled horrible and tracked everywhere. I cancelled my subscription and they emailed me a discount and assumed my 'no reply', to the email that ended up in spam, gave them permission to use my info and auto ship more litter.
I called about the charge and litter delivery and had them delete ALL my info. I can't believe they don't require a response to an email to use your info.
I TESTED THIS PRODUCT AND MADE A ONE-TIME PURCHASE. THE COMPANY CHARGED ME AND SENT ME ADDITIONAL PRODUCT WITHOUT MY CONSENT.
On 12/4/18 I received an email from prettylitter.com notifying me that they're shipping my order. I never ordered this product from them. IO ordered a "test" of the product approximately a month ago. at that time I did not sign up for repeat orders or a subscription.
I want a full refund and prettylitter.com to pay for the return shipping.

I cancelled in September but was sent the product and charged. I told the company I had cancelled they stated I had to pay shipping to get full refund
I attempted to cancel my subscription to Pretty Litter on September 16, 2018. I received an email back on September 17 stating before they process my request they wanted to know why I wanted to cancel. While they were waiting to hear back they would skip the following month's shipment. I immediately responded that day and heard nothing back. I received an email on October 16 stating my next order was on its way. I attempted to call and email the business but was unable to get a hold of them. I finally got a response today, October 22, explaining they were sorry my request wasn't processed but in order to get a refund I would have to send the product back and pay for my own shipping. I again tried calling the company and left voicemails but still have not gotten a response.
I would like my money back for the product. If they want me to send the product back I would like them to pay for the shipping since it was in their error it was sent to me.

Bought cat litter online from PrettyLitter's website, which says they have a 30-day guarantee.
Litter was unsatisfactory, and they won't refund me.
Pretty Litter's website says, "What is the 30 day guarantee? We offer a 30 day period for you to try PrettyLitter. If you're not satisfied then simply let us know."
I purchased 2 bags (for 2 cats) of their litter on 9-13-18. *** for $31.20 with my Visa.
Litter arrived *** and I tried it out that night. I followed the instructions exactly. As soon as my cats used the litter, I was not pleased. It was painfully evident that the litter was NOT "The best at odor control" as their website claimed. I also did not enjoy the way the litter seemed to be so easily carried out of the box on the bottoms of my cat's feet.
The smell got so bad I had to go back to my old litter.
The next business day, (***) I called Pretty Litter ( I talked with April), and requested a refund, only to be told that wasn't something they were prepared to do. When I mentioned the 30-day guarantee, I was told that only meant that I had 30 days to call with a problem and they would try to find out what I was doing wrong - there would be no refund.
I feel they made false claims on their website, not only about their litter being "the best at odor control", but for their use of a 30-day guarantee, and then not standing behind their product.
I feel a full refund of $31.20 is fair.

This company was firm on their " no refund" decision until a complaint was filed with the Revdex.com. Then a full refund was given only after intervention from the Revdex.com.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! The litter makes your house smell awful no matter what you try to do to help it. I could clean it everyday and not make a difference. Was told that my subscription was cancelled and money was still taken out of my account! Then when asked for a refund right then and there, I was told that it takes 3-5 business days through MY BANK. Called the bank and was told they were lying! DO NOT USE A COMPANY THAT LIES AND MANIPULATES TO MAKE A PROFIT!

No return phone calls, does not reply back to emails, they put an order through without my permission
On Saturday June 16th, I received and email from these people saying they were processing a new order. I flipped out since I NEVER game them permission to submit another order or to have/be signed up for automatic refill/replenishment! I immediately called and found out they were not there on the weekends, so I sent them two emails and contacted my bank thereafter. The bank said for me to see what they say on Monday when they open for business...in the meantime, they would notate my account and wait to here from me. Problem was, the $68 was already in a "pending" state or on hold and the bank couldn't do anything right away. Today, I have left two voicemails, sent another scathing email and have tried calling them four times only to either be put on hold for forever or have to leave another voicemail! Their customer service sucks....actually, they don't have customer service! Their product does alert you if there is a problem with one of the cats, but does NOT do anywhere near of a good job keeping the urine odor down as does the Freshstep Crystals we were usitand WILL be going back to.
I EXPECT a full refund of the original order AND for them to cancel the second order (the order they went ahead and proceeded to process on their own) to be stopped and money to also be refunded.
