POWERHOME SOLAR

The solar panels were installed to spec and was pleased with the workers cleanliness. We had a few bumps in the road regarding the process. Power Home Solar wanted us to realize that they would take care of everything. However, they did not inform us or come with a solar panel that was designed to not attract animals. Currently, I am having to pay for Critter Control to come out for $229.00 and an additional $59.00 for every squirrel they catch. Unfortunately, after the installation we had a family of squirrels move in right underneath the newly installed panels. Newly installed...I mean like barely a month. We just had the net metering installed last week as of 09/01/2018. With that said, I contacted Power Home Solar to see if the could remedy the situation and I heard nothing. I don't suggest getting solar panels unless the design can keep animals of all sizes. Power Home Solar panels (for 17 panels) was $23K and the design is just not worth that much if you can not keep out critters. I will be interested to see if Power Home Solar can come up with a solution to keep a new customer happy. However, the sales person, acted shocked...that something like this has never happened. BUT...if you go online and type in solar panels and squirrels there is another company that came up with a design to keep critters out. Well hopefully we will see the benefit of having solar panels because right now...at this moment...we are not thrilled....just more money out of our pocket.

Great job! The appointment was made quickly, and the execution of the install was done as described (specs and duration). Everyone we dealt with either in person or by phone were polite, courteous, and extremely helpful. Any questions were answered quickly and completely. It is very much appreciated

We had our solar system installed last week. Mark's crew were very efficient with the installation and Mark walked us through everything that they were doing. Everyone was professional and very friendly. I am very happy with how everything looks and am looking forward to using the system.

Whether it be their call center team calling to schedule changes and provide updates to the time they would arrive onsite; you could always count on a friendly voice keeping you in-the-know. All their employees I came in contact with were very polite and professional. A shout out to Josh and team on a job well done on the Beaverdam project.

The job was neatly completed on time with no problems. All of the extras promised were delivered and the site was cleaned upon completion

This company aims to please. They are good communicators, responding quickly to questions and concerns. It started with the sale rep who was very personable and answered every worry we had with a clear answer. They go the extra mile by adding several energy saving features after the solar installation is set up. The on-site team worked well together and with us. They were polite and focused on the job at hand. So far so good. We are still awaiting the final inspection to connect the solar to our house.
