Review: On April 13, 2016 at 1:30 PM EST, I was approached by someone from Planet Energy saying they needed to see my current energy bill. They stated that they were sent by [redacted] and could not leave without seeing it. They entered my information into their ipad and had me sign it. I asked specifically if I was signing up for anything and they said no, it was just a routine price check. They then left and I received a phone call that I had requested to switch my services to them. I told the person on the phone that I did not wish to sign up or switch services.

Their practices involve lies and fraud. It took me hours of phone calls to get the situation sorted, and it is still not fully resolved.Desired Settlement: I believe a review needs to be done of this company's fraudulent sales and business practices. I also believe that the company owes me compensation for wasting my time, lying to me, and causing me to miss work to resolve the situation.

Planet Energy would like to thank the consumer for providing feedback. As confirmed with the consumer on Planet Energy’s call to the consumer, the consumer was not enrolled with Planet Energy for any services with Planet Energy. The consumer met with a Planet Energy representative on April 13, 2016 at around 1:50 PM. Planet Energy contacted the consumer via outbound telephone call, and spoke with the consumer on April 13, 2016 at around 1:55 PM. During the call, Planet Energy confirmed that the consumer was not enrolled for any services with Planet Energy. Planet Energy appreciates all feedback provided by consumers and confirms that all feedback is recorded, investigated, and acted up on as applicable.
