Mr. [redacted],

I would reject the offer by Plain Green loans due to contrary information given to me after I called the company. They did not allow me to do an payment arrangement. They simply have sent it to collections. Please forward this to the company.

Thanks,

Review: I received a pre approved notice from Plain Green Loans and was having financial difficulties so I decided to apply. I got a loan for 1,000 on 12/03/2012 since I have made 12 payments of 121.42 totaling 1457.04 and still have a 12 payments of 121.42. At the time of getting the loan I didn't realize that the state of Indiana has a cap on the amount a customer can borrow (500) on payday loans and you cant have more than 2 loans out. Plain Green loans failed to verify if I had other loans out which I did and should not have granted me the loan. I have overpaid already by 457.04 and will pay 1457.04 in addition to plain green loans. This violates Indiana payday loan law and I am overpaying a loan and which I have already repaidDesired Settlement: I would like for them to stop the ACH from coming out of my account and closed this loan immediately as paid in full. I'm not request a refund in the amount I paid over the 1000 as I do believe some fee or necessary just not 1800 in fees

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 9557638, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed

It's not clear what was done besides removing my ach from the account I would like a confirmation that the account is paid in full.

Regards,

Review: Company has continuously debited incorrect account (erroneously), causing NSF fees on my account and ignored several emails from me attempting to resolve this issue.I had one account set up with the company and upon missing my first payment the company contacted me. I explained to the rep that there was a mis-understanding and I needed the payments pulled from another account. I gave the new account info to there rep and was told I was good. Since then I have had several attempts by the company to debit the original account (which I informed them holds no significant amount of money) and as a result I have received an NSF fee for every attempt. My phone haste been since disconnected so I do not have telephonic means of communications with them but have sent several emails to their customer service department, all of which have been seemingly ignored as they have yet to answer any of them. I will not pay anything to this company until the NSF fees that their carelessness caused are returned to me, and I have verification that my account information has been updated - as I cannot change it myself online (I tried).Desired Settlement: All late fees erased, and restitution for all NSF charges that their actions has caused.

Dear Mr. [redacted]:

We are in receipt of complaint ID #[redacted] submitted by [redacted], regarding Plain Green’s business practices. Thank you for the opportunity to address these concerns.

We have reviewed Mr. [redacted]’s account and according to our records, we contacted Mr. [redacted] on July 30, 2013 regarding a payment. During this call, he informed the agent he wanted to change his bank account information and in turn, he was advised of how to do so. Our records indicate that Mr. [redacted] did not follow the stated procedures nor did he contact us regarding any other questions.

In an effort to resolve this matter, we reached out to Mr. [redacted] via email on September 6, 2013. Pursuant to his request, we will make no further ACH debits from his account. We encourage Mr. [redacted] to contact us for further assistance with changing his banking information and making payments on his account.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is partially satisfactory to me. While the company has stopped harassing the incorrect bank account they have yet to offer any restitution for the enormous amount of NSF caused by their actions. An "upstanding" business would take better care of its clientele, though addmitingly there very few nowadays.

Regards,

Plain Green loans provided me with a much needed loan with zero hassle. I received the funds in less than 24 hours. Their website was very easy to navigate and all charges and interest rates are plainly disclosed. It is expensive credit, but they tell you that right up front. I had a great experience dealing with them and would gladly utilize their services again if I had the need.
My only complaint is that they no longer offer loans to Arkansas residents.

Review: I took out a loan with Plain Green Loans. They were not honest with me. I was told that they are legal to provide loans. They are not. I do want to come to an agreement with Plain Green Loans on how to handle paying the principal balance which I do owe.Desired Settlement: I just want to make reasonable payments to them for the principal balance.

Review: This company has called my home on numerous occasions. They have threatened me and my family saying the will cause bodily harm and use a lot of profanity. We don't have any loans out nor wish to have on. We have asked on many occasions to be put on the DO NOT CALL LIST and they told us they would not unless we took out a loan with them. They have used fake names and told us they were located in Florida. I am not very happy with this company and wish to file any charges if possible.Desired Settlement: Stop calling us and make sure they are not harassing other people. WE want to be on the do not call list and would like all calls to stop.

[redacted] and appreciate the opportunity to address these concerns.

Our tribal enterprises strive to provide excellent customer

service and deny any claims that the calls Ms. [redacted] received were from Plain

Green, LLC. At this time, our records do

not indicate we have an account for Ms. [redacted], nor did we place any calls to

her. Furthermore, we are not located in

Florida.

On August 26, 2013, we reached out to Ms. [redacted] via email to

advise her that phony debt collectors are claiming to collect on Plain Green

accounts, as well as other loan company’s accounts. These scammers claim to be with different

collection agencies and state that they are representing attorneys and loan

providers. We also encouraged her to

contact the Federal Trade Commission with any further concerns regarding these

calls.

Thank you for the opportunity to respond.

Review: Hi my name is [redacted].I have loan with Plain grenn loan company for $1200 since November 2012 that im pay $132.41 every two week of my pay check until now.but since November until today I never miss any payement and I still have $1015,00 to get payback So does'nt mean any since for me.please like I trust Revdex.com,I want you to help me for this situation.I have five kids that im take care off and I have difficult situation to pay this balance.Desired Settlement: why? the can abuse me like this.

Review: I borrowed $500 from Plain Green Loans with the intention of paying the loan back after 1 or 2 pay cycles, however tough times arrived and I was unable to pay off the entire loan but continued paying the biweekly payment of $95.22. After 14 weeks I had paid $666.54 which is more than the principle plus the maximum amount of annual interest allowed in the State of NY which is 25% annually. So the most I should have paid is $625 dollars. I spoke with Plain Green Loans and told them that I revoke their ability to debit my account via ACH, and also made them aware of my complaint. I was told by the customer service person that I spoke with that I was "bound by the laws of the Chippewa Cree Tribe of the Rocky Boy's Indian Reservation" and therefore could do nothing but send a letter to their office and see what they say. So I am awaiting resolution and will be sending them a letter regarding this tomorrow, as well as a cease and desist from contacting me regarding the payment of a debt (a standard letter that I found online).Desired Settlement: I would just like my account marked as Paid in Full, I do not want a refund. I have already stopped their debiting my account, but would like to end our business relationship entirely.

We are receipt of complaint ID #9597594 submitted by Mr. [redacted], regarding Plain Green’s business Practices, thank you for the opportunity to address these concerns.

Their manager was the rudest person I have ever met and asked me very illegal questions. He would not let me talk to his boss so he made me sorry I ever did business with them. I would never work them again.

Review: On 4/4/13, my friend received a threatening voicemail from Officer [redacted] stating that I had a warrant out for my arrest and charges being placed against me. I called the number given and spoke with him. He stated that Plain Green Loans was filing charges against me and there was a warrant for my arrest. He said I was to pay the full balance or I would be arrested. Because I was trying to get a full understanding of the situation because I was unaware of the matter, Officer [redacted] hung up on me. When I called back he supposedly conferred with Plain Green Loans and they accepted a payment arrangement for $50 to be deducted from my pay card every two weeks. I scheduled this arrangement because I feared that I could be arrested. I was told that the arrangement was recorded on a federally recorded line. After conferring with the Attorney Generals office and researching the telephone numbers listed, this is a scam. I was threatened to be arrested and served a lawsuit for said debt. Officer [redacted] also posed as an official of the [redacted] County Sheriffs department and I have not lived in that county since December 2009. I am aware of such debt that is owed to Plain Green Loans but have never received written notice of such debt from either company. The company supposedly filing the charges or collecting the debt is called [redacted] and Associates. They can be contacted at ###-###-#### or ###-###-####. I confirmed the arrangement with [redacted]. Because this was confirmed to be a scam by the Attorney Generals office, as advised, my card was cancelled. The voicemail can be provided as evidence. Potter & Associates also posed as an attorney's office and their company cannot be located by the Attorney General's office or the Office of Financial Regulation. This complaint is being filed because fair collection practices were not followed and the company in question is posing as a collection agency to receive money.Desired Settlement: Complaints have been filed with the Attorney General's office and Office of Financial Regulation. The collection company name is unclear and I am sure that this is not the name. I require written notice of this debt before making any payments. Payments will be submitted to Plain Green Loans only.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 9503117, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. However, the email I received from the company stated that collection efforts has ceased. I would like a clear definition as to what this means. Does this mean that I no longer owe this company. If so, I would like written proof of this.

Review: I took out a 1k loan from Plain green loans on 3/8/2013. It is now 6/14/2013 and they have only applied $91.00 dollars towards the principal. I make a bi-monthly payment of $124.16 and they only apply 9 - 17 dollars towards the principal..This is outrageous. I will be paying this loan off till 2/2014 and would be paying about $3k for a $1k loan. I would like to make arrangements with the company to try and pay this loan off quicker. Are they credited in NY and are they licensed to loan to people in NEW YORK.Desired Settlement: would like it if my payments were 150.00bi weekly and at least 60.00 of my payments go towards my principal....

Review: I got a loan through plain green company sometime last year and early this year. I did pay both loans off in full. I learned that plain green was not authorized and illegal to operate in the state of Georgia with their high interest rates and loans. The interest rate that was charged is against the law in the state of Georgia as well as making loans to Georgia residents. I did make contact with a plain green representative to request that the interest that I paid be refunded to me because it was illegal for them to give me a loan and charge me the high interest rate in the state of Georgia. The representative informed me that they cannot refund me the high interest that I paid and was not helpful and the line was diconnected from Plain Green's end of the call.Desired Settlement: I would like for the interest that was paid on this illegal loan to be refunded to me from Plain Green. I would like for my refund to be sent to me in check form. I do not want them doing anything with my bank account.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 9573649, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

The response that I received from Plain Green does not resolve my issue. My concern was pertaining with the legality of the loan being submitted within the state of Georgia. My concern was also not addressed in there response. If Plain Green is governed under the laws of the Chippewa-Cree Tribe then why are your approving high interest loans in the state of Georgia ? Plain green is an illegal tribal lender. At this time, I have not received a resolution pertaining to the high interest that was paid. Due to the illegality of this loan I was only bond to pay the principal balance. Therefore, once again I am requesting my interest that was paid to be returned in full.

I have received 4 loans and paid off 3. I found out they are operating illegally in the state of WA and advised them of the illegal rates that they are charging. They sent a email saying if I paid the principle with 7 payments once each month It would be paid off,I emailed them back with a response and they replied they don't have an account with that email. So they erased all my records and account sign in so I cant access it( sounds fishy) . I emailed again and sent them back statements of how much I paid well over double the amount of loans they granted me. Now I look at the credit report and they are now listed with the full amount? I'm going to report them to the AG office of Wa to investigate them.

Review: To whom it may concern:I received a 1000 loan through Plain Green Loans April 2, 2012 and have made payments every 2 weeks since then. I have paid 4 payments of 119.58 plus one payment of 129.58 for a total of 607.90 via an automatic debit from my checking account. On June 13 I received the following email from PGL:"Dear [redacted],As oftoday, June 13th, all future Plain Green loan payments must be mailed to the following address:Plain Green Loans[redacted]All other correspondence should continue to be directed to the address listed below. If you have any questions regarding this change please feel free to contact Customer Support."I thought it was odd that an MT based company wants me to mail a check to Texas. Furthermore, I don't own or write checks and to get a money order I would have to pay a fee and the due date of my loan payment are on my pay days and so my loan payment would be late if I mail it on my payday. I contacted my attorney generals office because of the suspicious nature of this email and was advised to not send any payments to this company because apparently these loans are illegal in Arkansas. The interest rate of 299% exceeds the state maximum of 17%. I would like for Plain Green Loans to close my account immediately as paid in full due to the fact that they are illegal in Arkansas and on the advice of my attorney generals office I will not be mailing any payment and would like to make sure no further payments are debited from my checking account.Sincerely,[redacted]Desired Settlement: I would like Plain Green Loans to close my account and consider it paid in full and no further debits to be made from my account. I also do not want harassing phone calls or emails in regards of this loan.

Review: In December 2012 I received a letter offering me a loan of up to $10,000.00. I received a loan of $2,000.00 in my checking account the next day. I make my repayments bi-weekly $137.56 and try to make lump sum payment whenever I can. To date I have paid $1500.00 however the system is telling me that I still owe $1447.17 I spoke with a rep and was told that if I wish to pay off the loan I need to make a payment of $1500.00 I do not believe its fair that I am being charged $1000.00 for a $2000.00 loan and that is only if I pay it all off today. If not I was told the loan would could me $3000.00 I believe this practice should be illegal since I was unaware that my interest rate was over 100% being charged daily. What if anything can I do to resolve this matter???Desired Settlement: I would like Plain Green to honor the payments that I have made and allow me to pay the difference of $500.00 which would be the total of the loan I received in December. They have threatened to call my manager, fellow employees, and our human resources department after I told them no more contacting me at work.Desired Settlement: I want them to stop calling/harassing me at work and I'm looking into legal actions against them.

Review: I have had several loans with this company since 2011 totalling $3900. I havemade payments totalling $6564.36. I have since found this company is an illegal internet lender and is not licensed in NY State where I live. I have contacted them requesting my account be closed paid in full and my overpayment of $2664.36 be refunded. They responded by trying to get me to settle by paying more. I have repaid the principal and then some. The interest and fees cannot be legally charged. My main concern is getting creditfor payments made and my account closed paid in full.Desired Settlement: Account closed paid in full.I would also like my overpayment of $2664.36 be refunded if possible.

Review: My loan from Plain Green is Loan ID# 65698367 for $2400.00 and was taken out on 10/18/2012. Since then I have been making payments in the amount of $136.55 every two weeks totaling $1775.15. I cannot believe these payments were applied to interest with only $396.50 being applied to the principal!I was doing research and found that I was being charged illegally from this company this research prompted me to submit my complaint. I have sent tried to contact the company expressing my concerns with no success or response. As of today's date the balance owed on the loan is $2003.40, which I cannot understand. This is so illegal and I am not sure why they can tell you one percentage and charge you another. I had taken out a loan with this company in the past and paid back not knowing that the interest I was being charged was so high or not legal, so I am confident and frustrated that I overpaid on that loan as well.(#64920382) I appreciate your assistance in this matter in settling this claim.Desired Settlement: Since I have taken out a loan previously with this company and am sure I overpaid on the previous one I would like the total debt to be forgiven. I made payments on time every two weeks as I was suppose to but $1775.15 is towards interest is unacceptable as most of it should have gone towards the principal. I will no longer do business with this company and other people should be aware of their practices. Last loan taken was ID:64920382 for $1800.00 and it was paid off in full.
