After losing my husband, I was faced with his funeral expense, a plethora of medical bills insurance declined, claiming them experimental, raising our 3-kidsbeginning college-chemical engineering at the U of M-scholarships do little with this debt, kid's with autism that required outside services insurance declined, I worked jobs and paid off the majority of debt my husband's illness incurredFeeling like I could finally get ahead, I learned that my husband's idiwife's accounts somehow were placed on my/our credit reportsIt took me months proving that a 4-year old couldn't take out a mortgage, credit cards, nor get a car loan-you need to see over the steering wheel..&be legal age to drive(My spouse/his ex-it were 15-yrs older)So, after removing those accounts from my file, my credit score plummeted-more than 120points because I was labeled new credit/no history with not enough substantial debt to prove I could make payments on time for the rest of my lifeI wanted to fix my credit in case I needed a loan but knew I'd be declined from Top-Rated lending institutions so I researched and found One Main and a few other venues a fair alternative, considering my Credit needing helpSo, I took out a loan with OneMain and had a great experience-fast, easy and professionalI was approved in minutes, money dispersed into my account, hours laterNo hidden fees, extra costs, straight forward transaction and a great loan specialist tooUnfortunately, that stellar-treatment was a random instance as I've just undergone (my location) having the audacity to attempt fraudulently modifying a loan agreement AFTER it was closed! I was approved for an amount over what I requested for debt consolidation with it clearly stated that my existing loan would be added to my approved loan, allowing me able to pay this loan off as soon as I could with only having one payment (as that's the purpose of a consolidation)(Oh-I recently fractured my spine so I had crazy-medical bills to deal withI paid those off and sought the consolidation loan.) Never, EVER was it stated that I was only getting half of my lofact I asked my advisor 3-TIMES before he transferred the loan into my account if I was getting the entire amount (new kprevious advisor quit), so I was making sure things were perfect because it was another fast, easy processImagine how livid I was to discover that as my advisor verbally said "I'm putting the $16,into your account now, done, it's been a pleasure working with you" in fact, he only dispersed half of that amountAnd, I (stupidly trusting them as honorable), had accounts paid from it, that day at midnight)The next morning I checked my account only to realize that there was a huge problemI contacted my OneMain branch and the manager promptly called me back but tried to LIE to me saying they had to include my previous loan with my new loan and that's what they thought I needed! That village-it thought I'd accept his stupid excuseNope, I slowly explained to Richard Cranium (my nickname I came up with covering all ppl who aren't worth a ***-seeing that homonym makes me restrain myself from snapping their neck), how I in fact did include the past loan with this new loan and he stumbled and couldn't come up with anything else to lie about but did tell me he-"he" wouldn't let me redo my loanAgain, talking like I was speaking to an ignorant, deprived 3rd world caveman, I used simple words, articulated well and said that the purpose of a consolidation loan was to reduce debt, have one payment and be able to pay the loan offI also explained how having another latge, high interest payment along with 7-other bills still waiting to be consolidated, was going to be difficult to pay ahead on and I didn't want to pay an extra in finance chargesHe then asked if I elected to pay insurance (by OneMain) in case I died, so they'd be coveredI said no as it would've made my payment an extra $ more a monone would do thatI even asked my rep if it would affect me getting my loan to decline it and he assured me it didn't matterSo, here's where it is: Corporate hasn't contacted me yet and they should before it's too late for themOh, I forgot to share this: I'm engaged to a (CIA-VIP within our Great Nation's Government) and I can PROVE & VALIDATEevery phone conversation, written, electronic and verbal interaction had through this asinine ordealIf this matter's not dealt with immediately, I'm sending copies of EVERYTHING to my Attorney General, Consumer's Advocacy Agencies, of course our GOVERNMENT, media, and everyone else in between because this time OneMain messed with the wrong person and I'm NOT going to taken advantage of by you or any other personIt's on and good luck to you because I'm going to extend you the same courtesy you did me and you don't have my band if brothers backing you upLastly, at the risk of giving away the ending, this is all your fault See you in Court...and whatever cell block the prison reserves after investigations are completed (hypothetical scenario only imagined for my happinessunless ppl defrauded come out against you)

If you have no other choice and need a loan and have to obtain a loan from Springleaf please be aware that the majority of your payment will go to interest instead of the principalI over pay my payment every month to hurry up and pay off this loan, 55% of my payment went to Interest This loan was the biggest financial mistake I have ever made, instead of this loan helping me, it's actually hurting me

I have contacted them multiple times over the last yearFirst was to stop sending an ex girlfriends ( my boyfriends ) mail to the house this took monthsNow they are sending me the same envelopes with a loan card attached I have expressed to them to remove this address and my name from there lists for over the last monthsThey do not stop, even after I tell them I will never use there services everThis needs to stop today, I'm tired of this endless fight to remove my name and the house address from there mailing list
