Dear Ms***, I am sorry to hear that you have experienced some confusion in regards to the length of your agreement with NorthStar. I was able to review your account in regards to the agreement that we have on file in addition to what you mentioned about the extension that we are
showing was done on your account. While we are showing that the work was completed and that we did install a new upgraded cellular unit in your home at no additional charge to you, we can see where the confusion with the paperwork may have happened. We have record of that upgrade taking place on August 5th of last year and have a test signal being sent through confirming that the system was updated. Upon further review, we WILL cancel the extension addendum that was done on your accountHowever, we will continue to provide you with service for the remainder of your initial agreement with us, at which point your agreement with NorthStar will end and your Monitoring services will be closed per your request on 5/27/Additionally, if you are interested in staying with NorthStar I would be happy to set you up with a reduced rate of $24.99, which would take effective immediately. We could get that discount set up on our shortest agreement length which is months, and that rate would be guaranteed If you have any further questions, please feel free to let me know and I would be happy to further assist you.Sincerely,Northstar

any of that information previously it would have been something that was addressedIn regards to your current request for cancellation, as you mention in the complaint you have signed up with a new company *** who is now providing you service. Most reputable alarm companies will assist new customers with paying off their previous servicesWe would be happy to send a final bill to both yourself as well as *** to see if the balance remaining on your agreement is something that they are willing to cover.
