Ms [redacted] had called us yesterday am (10/6/15) concerned that her dishwasher and AC were not working and her "panel was buzzing" [redacted] went out to their home within 45 minutes of their call, usually when a panel is "buzzing" it is a...

hazard, and could mean several different dangerous issues. [redacted] found that the buss bar was burnt and sparking, he showed Ms. [redacted] that this was occuring she saw the sparking in the panel. In his knowledge this 99% of the time requires a replacement of the panel for safety sake. It sound s like this electrician [redacted], just did a temporary fix which we could of done, but it will not fix the bigger problem, which is a dangerous condition, this sparking could cause serious damage to electrical system and puts the system and the home at risk. We do not just band-aid a damaged panel, that was burnt and sparking , not only because we care about our customers, we care about our company and the liability this leaves us exposed to. The $39.00 dispatch was made aware before we went out and we treated this as an Emergency and responded instantly. I feel that Mr. [redacted] is being very inappropriate based on this situation , we were looking out for the total health and welfare of his home and family, and feel that he is being very unfair. [redacted] could of went out and did what [redacted] did but we will not put our name on a band-aid. And I stand by his recommendation and his assessment of the customers needs 100%

The incompetence of this electrician is impressive. The only damage was a single breaker that was identifiable by sight. Once that was replaced, [redacted], the competent electrician, worked to identity the root cause of the buzzing and eliminated it. Mister [redacted] would obviously rather extract maximum profit from the urgent request we had for service. They are despicable. Give contractors a bad name.

We called [redacted] to deal with some outside lights that have never worked properly (timer didn't work, lights didn't come on, etc.). [redacted] assessed the situation and gave us a quote, to which we agreed. He then proceeded to tackle the situation, to find out that prior electrical work had combined circuits in a way that was much more complicated than needed and prevented proper functioning of the lights. He remedied the situation and, despite the fact that the fix was more complicated and time-consuming than he had (very reasonably) estimated, he only charged us the quoted price. He was polite, knowledgeable, and considerate - a delight to have do the work.

No one told me that this financing would be in the form of a credit card. My name is misspelled on the card and I did not authorize this card. The work they were to do was only supposed to be $1700 and they did NOT do the work. This credit card already has a charge for the amount on it. They are...

Nate. Arrived promptly and efficiently found the problem. He explained the problem and the requirements for repair. He was very courteous and knowledgeable thought the process. I will use Mister Sparky for future electrical needs.

I have reviewed the response made by Mr. Sparky St. Louis in reference to complaint ID [redacted].  The business made apologies to me and took steps to ensure this does not happen to other customers. I was assured by the issuing bank that this credit card would be totally removed from my credit report.  Once that happens, I will consider the complaint closed to my satisfaction.  I expect to receive written confirmation of the deletion within the next 4-8 weeks.  I believe the credit card company, [redacted] Bank ([redacted]), mishandled the request for my pre-approval back on January 11th.  A card was issued in error, and a charge for $1,535 was made without my consent.  I believe this to be an isolated mistake and not indicative of wide-spread, intentional fraud on the part of Mr. Sparky.  I am satisfied with the outcome of my complaint thus far and I await written confirmation from the credit card company that the final details have been resolved.  The business was very prompt in addressing my complaint and listened with an open mind.

To Whom It May Concern,The allegations made toward Eagle Auto Repair are false. Mr. [redacted] first encounter with Eagle was when he contacted the owner, [redacted], claiming he needed the valve cover gaskets replaced. He then brought the car to the shop and [redacted] said he would not be able to replace...

the gaskets but his brother [redacted] would fix it. When Mr. [redacted] came he mentioned he had just purchased the vehicle a few days before he brought the vehicle into the shop. Upon further examination [redacted] asked Mr. [redacted] why the inside of the hood was burnt and some of the hoses in the motor. Mr. [redacted] said the vehicle caught fire because of how badly the oil was leaking. [redacted] was not able to test drive the vehicle because of how bad the oil leak was. Upon replacing the valve covers the car did not want to start so we informed Mr. [redacted] that we would take his vehicle to [redacted] garage. [redacted] was able to get the car running. He said the timing was off and one cylinder had no compression. initially we were going to charge Mr. [redacted] $300.00 for replacement of the valve cover gaskets but we only charged him $150.00 which was the cost that [redacted] had charged to get his car running and Mr. [redacted] was given the receipt. In our opinion Mr. [redacted] bought a vehicle that was not in great running condition and is trying to get more money for something that we are not responsible for. Further, more we have been in business for over 35 years and have never had an incident were a vehicle has bumped Into another vehicle and caused damaged at our place of business. Mr. [redacted] was allegedly given an estimate by [redacted] to fix compression issue on vehicle for $2500.00 which is a whole other issue and problem the car has. Mr. [redacted] brought his vehicle to the replace valve covers because of the oil leak which we did. When he took the vehicle the car was no longer leaking oil which is what he brought the car in for. As far as I am concerned the work we did on Mr. [redacted] vehicle is done. The fact that he has low compression on his cylinder could be a result of the oil leak the vehicle had which resulted in internal damage. But is not a result from the repairs we did. Therefore I don't believe I owe or should have to pay $2500.00 to Mr. [redacted] for issues the vehicle already had prior to bringing in his vehicle to the shop.

[redacted] of Mister Sparky did a great job. He was friendly, professional, and courteous. He arrived on time and completed the job in timely matter. They gave us a reasonable quote and did not attempt to run the bill up by adding little extras here and there. We will be using them again in the future.

The electrician sent to my home from Mister Sparky Oceanside (Paul K.) was prompt, professional & courteous. He was able to address all of my electrical needs. I was very pleased with his knowledge & helpfulness.

Paul K. was great. He was very knowledgeable, efficient and pleasant, giving me several options before proceeding with the job.

The work done by Paul K. from Mister Sparky in [redacted] was excellent. He was on time, very neat and the work was completed in a timely manner. I now have an office with very efficient lighting. I certainly would have them come to my house again. Also, he kept me informed as he went along in doing the job.

Had 3 electrical circuits installed with a total of 7 outlets in service mounted pipe in my garage

Also a surge protector for my complete house electric.

Paul was my electrician. He was more then helpful in describing the job when he first came for my free price quote.

Renee, the office manager called & emailed me on when Paul was on the way

The day of installation , he went over everything before starting, just to make sure I understood the overall job he would be doing.

He kept me updated thru out the job

Paul did a picture perfect job. Left the work area as clean as when he arrived

I was VERY satisfied with both the work and the price.
