Todd and Blaine showed called as promised during the appointment window, and showed up on time, too. Good start! They were very thorough in their review of the items I needed fixed, and were good at listening so that they could provide me with 4 different options based on what I needed to have done, versus what I would like to have done, but couldn't afford to complete at that time. The gents were so methodical and detailed that I agreed to sign off on the project, and they were simply put, wonderful. Both of them were polite and communicative, keeping me informed at each stage of the electrical repairs. They were true to their word as to the cost and length of time it took to complete the work, and they were wonderfully particular about the clean up process. A happy surprise was that they managed not to have to cut holes in the sheet rock, and thereby saved me further expenses for those repairs and having to arrange for another tradesperson to come out for that project. I am so pleased with the caliber and pace of the work they did, and I would happily recommend Mainstream Electric for your electrical needs; the very reasonable cost was a much-appreciated bonus for this project. Thank you, Todd and Blaine, for the excellent experience! Kudos also to the ladies in the office, who took my initial call, went over the pricing with me, and confirmed my appointment beforehand - it was a pleasure to work with you all.

I have dealt with several contractors for my home repairs, Mainstream gave excellent customer service. All questions I had were answered completely and thoroughly. Their work was fantastic. They cleaned all waste material and even some of my mess as well.
As a builder myself I know what to expect from contractors. As I stated above I have had several contractors to my home..... Most if not all did a very poor job. It was a pleasure to see an outfit such as Mainstream have pride in their work.

Brett and Larry did a great job. I called in on Thurs for water leak, had next day appt set. They were on time, friendly explained everything to me, gave me options and recommendations. Got into the repair and found an additional issue we did not know was there (blessing in disguise to find it now)-my water main shut off in my house was cracked! They replaced that as well. They were quick and clean with the repairs and told me what they were doing and why through the whole process. I would highly recommend them both. Thank you Mainstream!

My wife and myself just bought a new home and were in the market for a new furnace. I contacted mainstream electric at 1866zapp. As this place of business advertised. If I purchased an AC unit they would buy me a furnace in the month of March, as a TV and internet ad. I took three house off work to meet up with an employee of their company on March 9th from 8-10 AM. I did confirm with their company this was indeed true, they would provide a free furnace, if I agreed to purchase an A/C unit with them as well. I agreed to buy the A/C unit and scheduled them to come into my home on March 9th 2018. When the employee arrived I questioned her right away about the ad and giving me a free furnace, she indicated oh yes, "that's not true we give 600.00 off the new furnace". I question why they have the tv ad then. She did not provide an answer. She never did provide me with a bid for the job as I told her I was going to hold the company to their ad.

Thank you for your review, and we are sorry that there was confusion with our Spring Free Furnace special.

Our advertising pieces very clearly state that the installation is NOT included and/or to call our office for further details. (See attached document titled For ***).

Mainstream Electric, Inc. is not a retail brick and mortar store that sells hard goods- such as furnaces. Rather, Mainsteram Electric, Inc. is in the business of installing heating and cooling equipment for a quoted price. In a normal situation (without our Spring Free Furnace special), we must include the price of the furnace in the project's quote. The Spring Free Furnace special discounts the price of the furnace, which is what we would pay for the furnace at the wholesale level. Since you are not paying anything for the furnace and only paying for the installation- the furnace is free.

Included is a copy of our postcard that clearly state that installation is not included. Therefore, we can only give you a discount which equals the price of the furnace.

In order to purchase a furnace or air conditioning unit a company or sole proprietor must obtain a current EPA certification that allows one to handle refrigerant. Legally we cannot sell HVAC equipment to anyone who is not EPA certified to handle refrigerant or systems that deliver refrigeration.

On another note, our Home Comfort Advisor felt that you were very aggressive and threatening about the Spring Free Furnace special. Any attempt she made to explain the Spring Free Furnace special was met with aggression and obstinance. She felt that it was in the best interest of her safety and our company not to do business with you and to remove herself from your residence immediately. At that point, we declined to provide you with a quote as we feel our company would not have been a good fit for you.

In addition, our female Comfort Advisor shared that Mr *** threatened a lawsuit and Revdex.com complaints even before she even began to look at the existing system. Our Home Comfort Advisor felt that there was a hidden agenda behind his actions and words.

Again, we apologize for the confusion you may have experienced. We have improved our communication and training in this area. In conclusion, we are declining to bid on your project.

PS. attached is a $0.00 invoice ... no money was exchanged between Mainstream Electric Heating Cooling & Plumbing & Mr ***.

I am rejecting this response because:

You clearly false advertised a product and are attempting to place blame on the home owner for calling you out your actions. As the home owner you stated I had threatened your staff. I simply asked her, not to waste my time if the company could not make good on their ad. I was also told by three other businesses, there was no way your could give a free furnace as your ad stated. I simply have held you accountable on making good on your ad and you have indicated this as a threat. It's not a threat, it's reality. Do not place an ad that you can not fulfill. That's why you never provided me a price, as I had three other companies to compare your place of business with. I will continue to hold you accountable.

Have done previous business with company and requested an estimate on possible replacement of water heater. Brett P. arrived and was very knowledgeable about the situation and provided (4) options for replacement.

I had a small plumbing problem--replacing the supply line connecting a toilet to the line coming in from the wall which took the repair man less than thirty minutes to replace. The charge was $379.00 which they reduced by $50.00 because they had not come to a previously scheduled appointment. I had waited three hours and when I called them to see when the repairman would come, I was told that they had made a mistake in scheduling me and I had to reschedule. The amount I was charged was out of proportion to the work done.

I also had a conversation with Mike to make sure we are all on the same page. I am happy to know that you two discussed our business model- we provide an upfront, in writing and down to the penny quote for each job and will not begin the job until the client has signed acknowledging the price and the job that is going to be performed- all steps that our technician, David, executed on your job. I am thankful that you wrote this review, it is allowing us to grow in our scheduling department and make sure that our business model is communicated as clearly as possible. I needed help installing a timer for an exhaust fan. My dad was an electrician and he did all my previous electrical work for me, but he is no longer with us. I can do basic electrical work, but I felt this task needed an expert electrician and heard of Mainstream on the radio. I called to make an appointment and was greeted by an enthusiastic and cheerful lady named Kacie. That was followed by a confirmation call by an equally energetic and cheerful lady named Tawny. The electrician arrived at the scheduled time and completed the work quickly. He took the time to answer all questions and options, just as my dad would have. I have upcoming plumbing and HVAC needs and have decided to use Mainstream for those services as well.

I had Mainstream Electric rewire the house because of the mixture including older *** and tube. It was a challenge not only because of the wiring, but also because of the stuff that had to often be moved. Mike and Austin did an awesome job. My electrical is now is wonderful condition thanks to the 5 days of work they did. I can't thank them enough.

Our gas Hot water tank died after 21 years and being disabled I contacted the company that installed it, and because they didn't handle financing we had to look at other options and elsewhere, Contacted Mainstream and that week they had several gentlemen inspect and figure out what was the best way to go and setup financing and installation at not a bad price, where able to take showers and baths that night. They have my future business hands down, Thank you Very, Very Much Mainstream Electric to your whole team.

Our furnace stopped working during the night and our house temp dropped fast. I called a company that we had previously done business with in the past and was told they could not get to us until the end of the following week. I told them that I would keep looking and I called Mainstream Electric. This company was amazing! They were actually worried that we didn't have heat in our home and made sure that someone came out that morning to take care of us! Alex J showed up within a few hours and took great care of us! He was friendly, professional, and honest!

I needed a couple of 30A 220V circuits added and I went to the Mainstream website after finding them on a Google Maps search. Somebody immediately began chatting with me, we talked about the needs, I got an immediate phone call, then a follow up later saying that they could have an electrician out between 8-10a the next morning.
Robert M. came out in snow and ice and made it up my treacherous driveway, reviewed the situation, presented some options, then gathered some materials, and he and Austin busted out the work by 5pm. It's a gorgeous and safe solution and exactly what I needed.
The other two electricians I called originally still haven't returned my calls. In 24 hours, I visited the Mainstream website, got a couple of calls, and got this work done. I'm so blown away by the customer service and expertise, I'll definitely be bringing them out for some more improvements.

Mainstream electric came by the house a month ago, and replaced the main electrical panel. The guys did a great job of removing and installing the electrical panel. However, after they left, I noticed a broken plastic pipe near the furnace. It appears they broke it when they were reached between the furnace the return air duct. Nothing was said, I had to call them and let them know. During a follow-up furnace service/check-up, the technician fixed the broken pipe and serviced the furnace. But on the way out, mentioned that we had an air space in the return air duct that needed to be fixed. Not sure who we will call to make that repair.

Josh L, Mainstream Electric HVACC Service Technician, came to my home to conduct an inspection of my gas furnace. Josh did a very thorough and efficient evaluation. He found a potential problem issue with the condensation pump, and informed me of the impact if it failed. Josh also provided me some options/solutions for better air quality for the house. Josh was vey knowledgeable, organized, and totally professional.

It was a real pleasure to have Robert and Leonard do the electrical work that was needed in my home. They are do quality work and are knowledgeable, honest and ethical. We had Mainstream Electric out to replace a leaking hot water tank on Monday Dec 11,2017 They were very fast to get us taken care of. Dave and Hunter got right on it the same day and did a very nice, neat and clean job of it. Dave and Hunter are the kind of people you like to have come to your house and take care of your problems. They do good work done right the first time and were very friendly and professional. A few days later I had a question so I called and talk to Mike at Mainstream so he sent Dave and Hunter out the same day I called and they answered my question and only took a few minuets to do it. I am very happy with Mainstream Electric and all the people I came in contact with there.

What a great team! Scheduling and phone contact started the ball rolling. From there an appointment was made the tech showed on time and he and his assistant assessed the situation, discussed options and began to work. The work was completed in a reasonable amount of time and the worksite left cleaner than when they arrived. Five Star Service with friendly helpful employees!!!
