I just did a refinance with Paramount Mortgage under the care of Nathan S, Loan Officer. I can not say enough about how Professional and Knowledgeable he was in handling my loan. The process of this loan and how he stayed so involved made me feel safe and secure and that I had made the right choice for my refinance.
I just completed a refinance with Adam A and Jacquelynn K with Paramount Equity Mortgage and am very pleased with their services. From start to finish the loan took less than a month to complete. The dates they provided regarding the process was "spot on". If they gave me a date the loan docs would be ready, they were ready, the mobile notary was here on time, the loan funding was on the date they stated. What a refreshing process. Thank you very much to both Adam and Jacquelynn.
I have refinanced with Paramount Equity. They have originally had a rate of 4.015% for 20 years, this changed to 4.25% for 30 years at the time of signing because 'their system would not allow the other format'. Further they have asked for rapid fire signatures of the same document with minor changes along the way. This resulted in a change of re-financed cash out to me, a difference of close to $1500. Once all mortgage documents where signed, the cash out option had changed once again and no one from the organization can validate the gap in funds.
Our records indication that our EVP *** has made contact with the borrower. We will be reissuing the appraisal refund of 550.00
I am rejecting this response because:
The EVP never informed me of the re-issuing of the $550.00. This will be accepted if the below is address and refunded as well.
Further, it was found after closing that the loan officer charged the same 1.7% for points to lock in a rate, even after they changed the terms from 20 to 30 years and increased the rate by 0.15%. There was no logical explanation for either situation provided to me. *** said he never seen the numbers look like this and when I pressed further, the conversation spun into non-factual ramble.
Our Records indicate the following: There was one check that went out on 9/28 for $550 and cashed on 10/11. Please see attached of proof that the check cleared. Here is additional feedback regard second request from talk to our VP of sales outside of complaint. Check tracking attached for additional funds. We believe we have settled this complaint on our end.
I am rejecting this response because:
Paramount made a false promise and did not fulfill their end of the settlement until 30 days after they stated they were mailing the check.
At this time, further penalty and consideration needs to be enforced. This was yet a continuation of their bait and switch tactics that lead to this compliant.

I had a very good relationship with Nathan. He was a tremendous help in explaining the entire process and helping me understand the pros and cons of the choices available. He encouraged me to get additional offers and worked to beat a competitor bid. We also closed quicker than I had hoped.

I had a wonderful and stress free experience with Paramount Equity and Mortgage.Everything was done over the phone, and faxing,or by email.
Everyone that I dealt with at Paramount, we're really nice and patient with me.When it came to signing for my refiance, they sent someone to my home, for me to sign everything.I would recommend this company to anyone.
