*** ***The unit was NOT occupied by me as of April 12th when I turned in my keys and was informed the unit would be rented prior to May 13th Since you have not been willing to make this situation right whatsoever, I am in the process of filing suit with the small claims court I have documentation of each person I've spoken to and have been passed off to, as well as photos of the condition of the unit and entire facility I also have access to the police reports for the multiple times I had to call while I was in the unit.***, Please do not remove this complaint from the Revdex.com file for AMC I do not want other tenants to go through what I have been through

We do understand the frustration you may be facing with this matter. Unfortunately, the owner of the building does reserve the right to remove an amenity at any time. The owner decided to remove an amenity that was not being utilized to its potential as the package parcel room is. The office has...

provided you with assistance at any given time to fax and copy any item you have requested. Both of which were not apart of the business center options. You were on a short term lease which was set to expire 5/31/2018 was extended per your request to November 2018. They provided you with your renewal with no additional charges and extended it without hesitation. The business center is not a leasable item and we have leased you the unit itself. The business center is no longer advertised and we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. We are not honoring your request for free rent. You will be responsible for March rent as of March 1st.

Thank you for your additional input on this matter. As I mentioned prior we are not advertising a Business Center and do apologize for the owners decision to remove such amenity. This has been completed for some time now and prior to your extending your lease. We will not be compensating you for an amenity as we do not lease the amenities. You do not pay for the amenities. You pay for your specific unit. Thank you!

Apartments changed management to AMCLLC. We have rectified all the sanitation issues regarding [redacted] complaint. I have also refunded her deposit in full with an additional amount since she was out of her apartment. The deposit amount she paid was $250. The total amount [redacted] is receiving is $888.00, this would include the pro-rated amount that she asked for. I had not received any complaints or emails due to the changing of email/management. I have talked to [redacted] and I believe we are on the same page. I would really appreciate if we could get this removed from Lincoln Place’s record. I am rejecting this response because:The $888 was my deposit refund plus the pro-rated amount from the time I turned in my keys the beginning of April thru May 13th.  As I stated before, this has been ongoing for more than 4 months.  I have received several different dollar amounts as to what was "going" to be sent to me and have yet to receive anything.  At this point, my complaint is directly against AMC and not [redacted].  It is the responsibility of AMC to accurately and diligently process deposit refunds within 60 days.  If I don't receive a minimum of the $888 within 10 days, the amount I was told was sent to me more than three weeks ago, I will begin the small claims process, which could cost you up to $7500.  Should I have to take legal action due to the negligence of AMC, I will request not only the $250 deposit, but the entire six months of rent I paid, as well as interest and punitive damages over the past 10 months since my first encounter with Lincoln Place.

The delay is this deposit refund was multi-facated.  Lincoln Place has been processing through many changes which included new team members, change in ownership, operating systems etc.  I sincerly apologize for the delay, originally the deposit was...

processed as a cancel not a denied application which means there is no refund.  After realizing this was incorrect I had to wait for new operating system to go live and work between two ownership groups to get the refund processed.  The refund process was almost complete when this complaint was generated.  
The deposit refund has been re-processed and sent to the accounting department where they will cut and mail the check.

I understand Nic not being here is not a concern. I just wanted to inform you were are unable to find documentation to support the refund of $888.
I also understand this has been a frustrating situation and I am working diligently to get this resolved. We have not charged you for the required turn costs per the lease or any other charges to your deposit. Unfortunately there is no authorization to refund you the prorated rent. Therefore this is not something that will be refunded as the unit was occupied by you until May 13, 2016 per your previous statement.
We will send you the disposition refund amount in the amount of $336.46 which is a credit and full refund of deposit to the address you provided.

Could you please request that AMC follow through and send the $336.46 as they said they would several times.  At this point they are not worth another second of my time.  I can and will file small claims if I still don't receive the deposit refund and I'm confident I would win.  I just don't want to waste any more time or effort on this company.  I have also filed a claim with DORA who will follow up on the legal implications for failure to fulfill the contract to return the deposit within 60 days.Thank you,[redacted]
