Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: it was their [redacted] store and now Revdex.com has been lied to like they did me. I was never told the tire I bought in may was not the right size who goes and buys a different size , and why would tire experts put on a different size specially on a rear end . I have my own customer of 20 years that was sitting in their store and seen the argument long with a witness I took with me, I am prepared to have them write a statement and when my son took the truck back in for me, Daniel hid when he seen my witness walk in with him. Zack at les schwab looked up my sales and agreed they messed up and was nice enough to at least change the one tire to my front so the front of my truck now is running the two sizes and not my rear end and its no longer clunking. I will also get a statement from the person at [redacted] tire center that discovered the error. yes in may I bought what I wanted a mud and snow tire, that's why I spent the 140.00. It was up to them to get the size right. I can also get written statements to the possibility of metal shavings from in my rear end from as many other auto service centers I had called three actually four the other les schwab acknowledge what damages could happen. even the 2nd corporate guy said they should file an insurance claim and service my rear end and that they definitely owe for the mounting balancing and stem I paid for 4 tires balancing stem and mounting. I cannot believe that such a big corporation can feel justified by stealing from their customers. I guess I will go viral with my les scwab story and having been chosen peoples choice in our community for services I render a lot of people are going to be questioning services offered. I feel like I was just called a liar by their response. I cherish my honesty and integrity and being called a liar is even more upsetting,
Sincerely,[redacted]

Revdex.com Case #[redacted]We regret Mr. [redacted] had a negative experience with the Spokane Francis Avenue Les Schwab tire center. We take customer reports seriously and diligently work to immediately address customer concerns.According to Mr. [redacted]’s report, he purchased his 2011 Ford F350...
(“vehicle”) on July 31, 2017 from a private party. At the time he purchased the vehicle it had four tires previously purchased and installed at the Spokane Les Schwab tire center by a different Les Schwab customer. On or about August 6, 2017, one of the tires experienced a failure while Mr. [redacted] was traveling in Canada. According to Les Schwab’s records, on August 8, 2017 Mr. [redacted] contacted the Spokane store manager, Curtis, who informed Mr. [redacted] that Les Schwab’s Best Tire Value Promise (“Warranty”) “is provided for free...and is valid for the original purchaser of the tires…”, which Mr. [redacted] was not. However, as a sole gesture of customer service, Curtis offered to ship a replacement tire to Mr. [redacted]’s residence in Alaska, free of charge. Mr. [redacted] declined. At that time Mr. [redacted] informed Curtis he filed a claim with his insurance company. Curtis informed Mr. [redacted] he would need to keep the failed tire in question in order for the manufacturer, Granada, to consider a remedy. On August 29, 2017, Les Schwab’s Risk Services Department contacted Mr. [redacted] directly and offered to ship the failed tire to the manufacturer for claim consideration. In order for this to occur, the Risk Services Department informed Mr. [redacted] he would need to provide the tire to Les Schwab. Unfortunately, Mr. [redacted] declined to ship the tire to Les Schwab. Although Les Schwab disagrees with Mr. [redacted]’s allegations, and are unwilling to resolve his report in the manner he requests, we would like to assure Mr. [redacted] that we diligently investigated his concerns, worked in good faith to resolve his concerns in a fair manner, and remains committed to providing the best service possible to its customers.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: The tire that was presented to Les Schwab was in fact quite serviceable. The only safety hazard was the fact that I was left with no choice but to continue to drive on the tire with a giant bolt sticking out of it to go to a respectable company and have it serviced by actual professionals. The safety hazard I faced was in fact caused by Les Schwab in their refusal to preform a repair on their supposedly guaranteed tire forcing me to take it back on the road to have the repairs done elsewhere. I never requested any work be done on any other part of the vehicle by Les Schwab or its unprofessional staff. It would be no different had I removed the tire myself and brought it to them without the rest of the vehicle as that is the only repair I was seeking from them, however, I have little doubt they still would have refused the service claiming I couldn't prove it was a guaranteed tire. Had I realized they were such a scam shop I would have removed the tire and drove on my spare to a respectable company for service but instead since Les Schwab is close to my residence and the tire was maintaining pressure I chose to leave it on and drive it to them as is expecting repairs. As far as the other tire which you were never asked to service that you claim was "completely bald" yes it was worn no doubt but it was not "completely bald" and has since been replaced (in fact on that same day) by your competitor at a much more reasonable price (less than 1/3 your quote), and that shop was perfectly willing to repair your tire without saying a word about the other tire, it was in fact at my request after they completed the repair and I was happy with their outstanding customer service that I asked them how much a new tire would cost, I was very happy with their quote especially after my horrific experience with Les Schwab, so I had them do it, as me and my family will continue to purchase from them from now on.
Sincerely,[redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:I spoke with manager as requested. Was told I cannot get a refund and that ALL of the tires they stock have the horribly ugly gigantic "rim protector" sidewall. These make the tires look big and thick and that is NOT why I have 205/40/17's on my car. I want a tire that matches the rears on my car, not a tire that literally looks like a different size. The manager said they could order the same tire that is on my rears but I'd have to pay $44 freight and tax, for a total of approx $75 out of my pocket. And this after all the inconvenience I've already been through. UNBELIEVABLE.
Sincerely,

customer’s report and Les Schwab’s records, Mr. [redacted] brought his 1994GMC Van (“vehicle”) to the Reno Kietzke tire center to purchase two new tiresand have a complete front brake service, including the installation of newbearings, performed on his vehicle on April 24, 2015. On April 27, 2015, he brought his vehicle tothe Carson City tire center and informed the technician the left front tirearea was smoking and pulling to the left. The technician at the Carson Citytire center inspected the front brakes and found nothing out of theordinary. The technician informed Mr. [redacted] new brakes had a break-in period in order to allow new parts toproperly seat and function smoothly and he should avoid excessive stops. On May 16, 2015 and over 1,000 miles after the installation of the new brakes, Mr.[redacted] vehicle allegedly experienced hard pulling to the right and smokingfrom the right tire area while driving. He pulled off the road and called the Reno Kietze tire center. Les Schwab’s technician retrieved Mr.[redacted] vehicle and took it to the tire center for an inspection. Another technician gave Mr. [redacted] and hispassenger a ride to the tire center. The technician performing the inspection discovered the left front bearing hadfailed and, after driving over 1,000 miles, the bearing had seized. The tire center did not have the proper partto repair the vehicle that day. The store manager, [redacted], ordered the correct part, according to the vehicles’manufacturer specifications. A store employee gave Mr. [redacted] and his passenger a ride to a restaurant, then to hisjob site. The next day, the replacement bearing arrived at the store and was determined to bethe wrong part for Mr. [redacted] vehicle. Because of the age of the vehicle, a new partis no longer available so Les Schwab sent store employees to every salvage yardin Reno and Carson City but they were unable to locate the correct replacementpart. [redacted] was able to find the part in Santa Clara, California and ordered it. As of May 19, 2015, the part had not arrived at the tire center. Pursuant to Les Schwab’s warranty, the newpart and labor is provided free of charge.Les Schwab is actively working to resolve the issue with Mr. [redacted] vehicle. We sincerelyapologize for the inconvenience this situation has caused the customer and thankhim for his patience.
