Upon research into this matter, the serial number of the brewer is showing it is 4 years out of the warranty period.  We are also showing this particular serial number was reported as defective to us in 2012 and we replaced the brewer at that time to a different customer.  We did speak to...

We left voicemails for this cusotmer on 4/8, 4/9, 4/13, and 4/21.  We also sent an email on 4/21 with a resolution.  Thank you

We contacted the customer and let her know that the credit has been issued.  thank you

We are sending the customer a no charge replacement brewer via order# [redacted] as appeasement against this complaint [redacted].

we left a message for the customer on 3/6 that we would love to trouble shoot issues with them regarding their brewer functionality and possible replacement if necessary. We will need the serial number in order to proceed. the customer is welcome to contact our corp. customer service dept....

@ [redacted] to discuss a resolution. This is notated on the customers account in our system. the customer is free to reference service request # [redacted] when they call in to streamline the process...thank you

Listening to the customer and making notes, does not solve the problem.  There was no miscommunication, there is misrepresentation of a K40 Keurig as a K55.  It makes people think they are getting something they are not, which is a different model coffee pot.  Please change the number on the pot to reflect the number on the box.
